Great room - comfortable, immaculatey clean, quiet, well equipped, really good bed. The shower was great too. Lots of thought has gone into making the room a great place to stay. Virginia welcomed us and had really useful tips that helped to make our visit to the area special. Location was really good too. Just 15 mins walk from one of the Pompeii site gates, next door to the main Pompei station (good for Naples) and a large number of good restaurants and cafes within 5 minutes walk.

Nothing - all brilliant. We aren't big breakfast people so the coffee & croissant voucher for the cafe next door worked perfectly for us (good coffee!).

First of all the whole experience from start to finish was amazing with the Virginia. Extremely welcoming, very helpful, very knowledgeable about the whole area. She bought us a little wedding anniversary gift for arrival which was a lovely touch. The room was very clean and everything had been thought about to make they stay easier and even more convenient. All the finer details had been thought about. The small communal area in the hallway had a drawer with all the small things you may have missed when packing for a holiday such as razors, toothbrushes and plugs. The bed was very comfortable and it needs to be with all the amount walking you do (72,000 steps in 4 days). There is a lovely little balcony, yes overlooking a busy street, but your in Pompeii, embrace the culture and environment. It all adds to the experience. The bathroom was my favourite room, the décor through out was impeccable. Lovely rainfall shower head with dark slate finished tiles. After every shower I felt very relaxed. The windows all had electric shutters on them which blocked out all the morning light and morning rush hour noise. The building itself was, no exaggeration, 50Ms from the station 'Pompei'. You wouldn't even know you were near a station as all the trains are super quiet. Perfect for travelling to Naples. 53 minutes on the train, costal views all the way and for 2 people return it is ONLY 14 Euros!!! They go every 20-30 minutes. I cant say enough good things in this review to even begin to cover the positives. All i can say is thank you Virginia for being such a good hostess and making our 2nd wedding anniversary one to remember. Highly, highly, recommended.

I would be knit picking, but the town itself on the outskirts is slightly dirty and there is a lot of rubbish laying around. If this is something you can look past like we did then its a winner.

The property is absolutely beautiful, clean, modern and comfortable. Especially host Virginia was very friendly and kind. The location is extremely convenient without doubt. In addition, Pompeii is a lovely small town but you can get authentic street food just next to your home.

The room we stayed that was close to main road. A little bit noisy, from my perspective you can bring ear plugs if you are sensitive about noise.

The property is located right next to the train station and a small walk to Pompeii ruins. It has been decorated and done up really lovely. There were 3 of us the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Virginia was most welcoming, she has definitely put a lot of effort in to make sure her guests are comfortable and this is by far the best apartment I have stayed in in Italy.

Absolutely faultless!! This home is beautifully decorated and every single detail has been thought of and catered for. The home is immaculately clean and is everything you could want and need. In fact, we were disappointed to have only stayed in Pompeii for one night and wish we could extend our stay purely to enjoy the room for a lot longer. The flat is located within Virginia's own home which was reassuring to know that we had the desired privacy but our belongings were safe. It was also brilliant to find it is located a stone's throw away from a train station so we didn't need to drag our luggage too far. I honestly cannot praise Virginia or this flat enough. If anything, I think she could raise her prices because it felt exceptionally good value for money. Huge thanks again to Virginia for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home!

Room, location, and host were fantastic! We enjoyed our stay! The room was great! Everything had been well thought through. We loved everything! The air-conditioning was a life-saver 😊 great little coffee machine in the room. The smart TV was a bonus! All the facilities were new and great! We would definitely stay again! Thank you for looking after us and upgrading us whilst on our honeymoon 🫶🏽✨️🤍

Virginia was an attentive and welcoming host. The room was spotless with everything you could need. Lots of lovely little touches, treats, gorgeous toiletries and recommendations. Really well positioned for the train. Pompeii town with lots of lovely restaurants. Reasonable walk to Pompeii historical site and for the vesuvious bus. Breakfast included in local cafe was nice and hassle free. We would highly recommend this stay. It is well worth the money and Virginia makes it feel more personal with her home next door and there if you need her. Thank you again VIrginia 😊

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room was beautiful with many added conveniences like espresso maker, tea pot, snacks, bathroom supplies, and more. And the host Virginia was warmly welcoming and lightning-quick in responding to my messages. The hotel is very close to the Ferrovia dello Stato train station and also near Pompeii's amphitheater entrace. Garum, a very good restaurant, is also right across the street. But the heart of the town is only a very short walk away.

The apartment is beautifully decorated—just exquisite in every way. The tile, the lighting, the USB outlets, the window shutters, the *king* sized bed, the amazing shower. It’s incredibly comfortable and clean, and Virginia was so lovely and very helpful. She kept our bags for us while we explored for the day after we checked out. Breakfast was a very tasty croissant and coffee from the cafe downstairs. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Pompeii.

We got the impression that theft and safety were of some concern in the general area, but no more where we were staying than any other area of Pompeii/Naples.

Everything about this property was excellent and exceptional. It's definitely the best in a long list of places we have stayed at over the years. Full marks to Virginia, the owner, who thought of everything, and we wanted for nothing. She was a lovely host, and was extremely welcoming. We would recommend staying here to anyone who wants to base in Pompei. We will post photos on social media, as we have the owners permission to do so.

No negatives at all. We didn't want to leave !
