We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea and a direct view of Positano. The hotel restaurant is highly rated, and the food is amazing. The daily breakfast buffet offers a good variety. Most importantly, the staff, Rosa and Edwardo, were amazing! They met us upon arrival, assisted with bags, coordinated water taxi transportation, and offered wonderful, authentic local recommendations. The staff was kind and caring and made us feel so special! You will not be disappointed staying here!!

The location perfect, our room and terrace was fantastic with an exceptional view, the personnel were helpful kind and funny. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and clean to the utmost standard.

The staff at Il Pino went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable and comfortable. Upon arrival, Adrian took care of our car and even took the time to make an event of videoing my wife’s reveal of our gorgeous balcony view! Was like a second honeymoon. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night and it was like being in a movie. Memorable characters, delicious food and exceptional service! Rosa took care of everything for us in making our day trip to Capri. Rosa introduced us to the water taxi service! The absolute best way to get from Praiano to Positano! The walk down to the dock was an experience in itself, but the views of the gorgeous waters and cliffs made it worthwhile. The staff recommended the best local restaurant for our last night of our stay and it was just as delicious as Il Pino! If you are looking for a place that captures the laid back, yet elegant vibe of the Amalfi coast, this is where you need to stay!!!

The shower! The design of the shower if not draining properly would cause the water to overflow! Once we figured it out, it was not a problem.

Unlike other nearby hotels, there were no stairs to go up or down to get to the hotel. Great location, walking distance to markets, bus stop and restaurants. Incredible views from all rooms and the pool area. Friendly staff specially Rosa at the front desk. The bus is only around 2 euros to get to Positano or Amalfi. Keep in mind if you're renting a car to drive around, The hotel has parking spaces for 5 cars only and if it's full, you'll will need to park elsewhere and pay around 50 euros per day. Breakfast and morning coffee were also great and enough to get you going. Breakfast is served from 7 or 7:30 to 10am. I'd stay there again if I ever go back to Amalfi coast.

Hi all at hotel Pino, I never usually write a review on my hotel stays but it just wouldn’t feel right not leaving you guys a glowing review for your exceptional service. Rosa in reception was excellent, anything we asked for was done and she provided us with transfer to and from the airport which was brilliant (would highly recommend). Andrea at the pool area was also great fun. The 3 other guys that were working there were brilliant also. Stunning views overlooking Amalfi coast / Postinao. If you’re thinking about coming here or anywhere around Amalfi coast I would highly recommend Hotel Pino in Praino it was brilliant. Great pool area and beautiful hotel. Photos don’t this hotel justice. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay. Regards Sean

The hotel was perfect for our trip. Location wise it is between Positano and Amalfi being far enough for some quiet but close enough to travel in via the bus whenever we needed. The staff from the concierge team to the breakfast and housekeeping staff were top notch. The concierge team went out of their way to ensure we had the perfect trip. While not officially part of the hotel, the restaurant was also a highlight along with the inhouse cooking class. Best of all the views were second to not be, we spent most of our afternoons/evenings out by the pool taking it all on. We will definitely be back to stay with Il Pino.

Honestly the only thing we didn't love was the shower being as leaky as it is. More so we didn't want to make a mess but just put a towel outside the door and it was fine.

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Il Pino for 3 nights. It was in the centre of Praiano in regards to bars and restaurants, a few minutes either side. Of course, it has the most breathtaking view just like the pictures, worth every cent for the view alone. The pool facilities were wonderful, a little chilly upon getting in but it is just what you need on a very hot day. The breakfast was fantastic, it's self service mostly and eat as much as you like. The cappuccinos are especially outstanding we never had until arriving and have had them every day since. Housekeeping was excellent, we received fresh towels and housekeeping every day which is not always the case but great to see it. The staff in all areas of hotel, reception, breakfast staff, restaurant staff, pool staff and the night porter were all exceptional. They honestly were brilliant and a real assest to the hotel. Managment should be very proud of all!! About an hour after checkout I received a message from the hotel saying I forgot my car keys which was obviously a little stressful. The receptionist (forget her name brown long hair), went out of her way to deliver them to me personally in Positano in the evening after her work shift. This was such a help as if we had to go back it would have spoiled the day between buses and waiting and our plans for the current day. Really grateful for everyone at Hotel Il Pino and we will definitely return some day. 10/10, we would highly recommend.

Nothing - everything was exceptional!!

The view was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and caring. It wasn't just another huge hotel but a place to feel welcomed and comfortable. The pool and bar was one you would actually enjoy using and Andreas was a great pool attendant. Our daily breakfasts were such a treat. The on-site restaurant was great and we ended up there on successive nights.

We loved it all! If I had to think of something, the shower was a bit tight and when the people in the next room got up for an early departure it was a bit noisy.

We liked everything about Hotel Il Pino! Let me start by saying that if you’re thinking about staying in this area, this is the best place to stay. The Amalfi coast views are unbeatable, including nearby Positano and all the way to the Isle of Capri. The staff is top notch, offering recommendations and going out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The pool is stunning, especially with the large in-pool seats, offering up the perfect place to relax. The included breakfast is excellent, with many options, fresh croissants and staff waiting on guests. Every room has a sizable, unobstructed ocean view balcony! The on-site restaurant has very good food, friendly waiters, and great views too. Lastly, one thing that surprised us was that this is just a 15-room hotel, which led to the feeling of private, quiet enjoyment of the pool, a “home away from home” feel between both staff as well as other guests. Our honeymoon couldn’t have been better and we’re planning to come back in the future.

To be honest, this was the perfect honeymoon stay. All of the pros outweigh the cons, which was evident since we didn’t really notice any cons until it was time to check out. Guests should be aware that the walls are rather thin, so sound does travel. The beds are on the firmer side, but based on our experience in Italy this seems to be common. There are definitely a few little touch ups that the management could make that would go a long way (wallpaper, bathroom grout, wood chips).

Large terrace offering the best view of the sea and the famous Praiano sunset. The room is a good size, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is to die for…. it’s like something out of a 5 star hotel with a rain shower and beautiful tiles. Tasty continental breakfast included in room rate and lady who serves is lovely. Reception staff are amazing. They cannot do enough for you and always have a smile on their face. The lady who checked us in gave us great advice on how to travel to the hotel and offered us a complementary coffee on the lobby terrance while we waited for our room even though the wait was only 15 mins and we arrived well before the advertised check in time. Her colleague organised a couple of drinks for us one afternoon, and arranged for them to be brought to our terrace. He also gave my husband a great recommendation for our next holiday in Ischia. We had an issue one night with our air conditioning (totally our fault as we were pressing the wrong button) and night Porter was down in a flash and got it sorted in seconds. We ate in the restaurant once and as with everywhere in Italy food is great. Wine list is extensive and really well priced compared to some other restaurants. Loads of locals were dining here so that says it all. Also you may get treated to a song from what we can only assume was the owner.

Unfortunately we arrived when the pool was closed. But it opens on 13th May, however the garden area around it is lovely and a nice place to have a coffee. Pillows slightly hard but that’s only a personal preference
