Had we known our stay would have been so great, and the family that runs it so amazing, we would have stayed here for our entire stay on the Amalfi Coast (and maybe stayed in the Amalfi Coast for a little longer). We were driven to dinner in Praiano, and to and from Positano whenever we needed. From Positano, Capri, Sorrento, and Amalfi were all easily accessible by ferry. All were easy to get to from this hotel, and it was a fraction of the cost of those comparable in Positano. Speaking of dinner, eat at least one night at the hotel. The view is breathtaking, and the food is better than many of the local restaurants. The breakfast was also the best we had in our 2+ weeks in Italy. Lastly, the front desk took care of absolutely everything we needed and provided comprehensive information on everything we were considering doing. Path of the gods hike, trip to Amalfi, etc (thank you Federico!) I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends and clients planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast, over any other place we stayed on our honeymoon (there were five), and I hope to return soon. Only that we didn’t stay longer.

The staff, who is all family, have literally mastered the art of hospitality. They are the sweetest, friendliest people who make you feel as if you’re the only person in the world and their top priority. They ALWAYS have smiles on their faces and upbeat, positive energy. I could go on and on. The food is next level, the rooms are each individually decorated and all are adorable and exactly what you want to wake up to feeling like you’re in Italy, the view is phenomenal, and amenities are amazing (we literally lacked for nothing). They provide a shuttle service which we used daily and greatly appreciated, and even helped us with options for excursions and making last minute dinner reservations. We booked the hotel blindly, never having been to the area or having any recommendations to work with. And…We COULD NOT HAVE HAD A BETTER EXPERIENCE. Hotel Pellegrino is an absolute gem.

Absolutely NOTHING could have been better.

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Pellegrino. It was without doubt one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Luigi and his family catered to our every need. The breakfast was beyond wonderful and we loved the dining experience so much that we ate there most evenings enjoying Genaro’s personal attention. Ales was so kind and even arranged a picnic breakfast for us to take on our 3:30 AM departure! Federico, the concierge, was excellent before and throughout the trip, arranging hair appointments and helping us navigate the Amalfi coast .. nothing was too much trouble. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to beaches, town and into Positano which was invaluable, as the area can be tricky to get around. We hated to leave and look forward to returning one day!

My favorite Italian destination - from the warmth of the family-run hotel. Luigi's family and staff go out of their way to accommodate and take care of guests: Very professional. Always bearing a gentle smile. Most considerate and kind. The hotel feels so clean and new. The shower pressure, the air conditioning, all work to perfection. There is also a lift for those who may need it. The incredibly generous portions and variety of breakfast is something I shall miss, for one. The fresh figs from the trees and neighbouring goats, for two. I had just left their hotel, and checked into a five star hotel in Naples, and I so miss the family's hospitality already! It felt like a special treat away from home, on the Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend as a well-run, sophisticated and top-class holiday destination. They have a complimentary shuttle that takes guests to and fro Praiano's town centre, or to the Marina di Praia for beach lovers where there are a few cute restaurants on the waterfront/ exciting water taxi rides; and also a drop-off point to walk down into the famous and stunning Positano town. I was able to visit Capri, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano and Praiano's town activities from the recommendations of Federico and Alexia, of which, the experiences I would treasure for a long long time. Do try the restaurant upstairs too, I loved all the fish dishes. Last, but not least, there was a concert at sunrise this morning, and Alexia did not hesitate to drive me at 5.50a.m to attend! At the beginning of August, there seems to have many town activities in particular. The luminaria was another interesting event to watch, lighting up the Praiano town centre and the church of San Genaro.

The staff truly went above and beyond. They were warm, welcoming, and always available to assist with any requests. From checking in to arranging transportation, their attention to detail was impressive. They made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another number. What truly set this hotel apart was their extensive knowledge of the area. Their fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, hidden beaches, and guided tours showcased the best of Praiano and the Amalfi Coast. Each suggestion was spot on, allowing me to experience the culture and beauty of the region authentically.

Additionally, the staff's local knowledge was invaluable; their recommendations for the best restaurants and places to visit were spot-on every time, ensuring we had the best experiences possible. What made our stay even more special was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They kindly drove us around, making it much easier to explore the area without the usual stress of transportation along the Amalfi Coast. This extra touch made our stay far more pleasurable. We would return to Hotel Pellegrino without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the best of the Amalfi Coast in a warm, welcoming environment.

I cannot stop raving about Hotel Pellegrino! All the amazing reviews are legitimate. Luigi and his family made our stay in the amalfi coast an unforgettable experience. We felt at home from the jump. We were even given a complimentary room upgrade at our arrival! The hotel is regularly updated to offer modern functionalities, while still maintaining the timeless elegant aesthetic of the amalfi coast. Our room and bathroom had the perfect décor and were VERY clean. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to Positano which is a HUGE benefit. It’s only about a 5 minute drive. The hotel staff was incredibly prompt, responding to any of our needs via text message in a matter of seconds. They were able to organize transportation and reservations for activities at a moments notice. We will definitely be back!!

Our stay at this delightful family-run hotel in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast was nothing short of extraordinary. The homemade breakfasts and dinners by Daniela were absolutely delicious—each meal felt like a lovingly crafted experience. In fact, we stayed in several nights just to savour all the wonderful food. The warmth and hospitality of the entire family who run the hotel truly made our visit special. They were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They even offered to drop us off for dinners and tours, which added a touch of luxury to our trip. Federico, in particular, was a gem—he organized everything we needed, no matter how big or small. His dedication and care made us feel like we were staying with close family, rather than at a hotel. Overall, this hotel provided an unparalleled experience that we will treasure forever. The views from the room were postcard perfection. If you’re looking for a place with heartwarming hospitality, delicious food, and a true home-away-from-home feel, look no further.

We didn’t stay long enough.

Very well designed rooms and facilities with very tasteful and well finishing. All amenities are very well functioning and modern. Very friendly host and hostesses, hotel is managed by a very friendly, kind and positive family. Hotel cook is the Luigi’s (the owner of the hotel, the father) daughter, she is very capable cook who prepared my husband’s surprise birthday cake (chocolate cake) and it was very tasty. She makes the best tiramisu in the whole Amalfi coast. We stayed in every Amalfi coast town and visited all trip-advisor recommended restaurants, her tiramisu is the best one. Luigi offered us a ride several times to beach and Positano and back, even Luigi (Federico his son also helped a lot) helped us when we had transportation problems after checking out. The magnificent family with beautiful soul and it reflects within the hotel. The third floor terrace has very beautiful view, do not plan anything extra for dinner. You can have the most romantic dinner with the perfect view at Pellegrino hotel with lovely hosts. Thank you a lot for the beautiful stay.

The beautiful Hotel Pellegrino, tucked away on the hillside of Praiano, will forever hold a place in our hearts. From the heartwarming service, breathtaking views, and idyllic location, we were constantly impressed by every detail of this hotel. We received outstanding service from Frederico, before, during, and even after our stay. They ensured our comfortable arrival, coordinated lifts and excursions, and even arranged for a private delivery when we realized we had left some personal items behind. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary services, available just at our fingertips. Luigi was always eager to provide great insight for our travels and happy to transport us from the scooter rental location, bus stop, and everywhere near and far in between. On our last night we realized we needed laundry services very last minute and the team was happy to help, sending us on our way with nicely laundered and pressed clothes overnight. We don’t even know where to begin with our dining experience here. For starters, the rooftop terrace offers a bird’s-eye view of the ocean and town of Praiano, surrounded by a luscious, blooming garden. The complimentary breakfast each morning was truly a treat, with an assortment of baked goods, fresh fruit, and the best scrambled eggs we have ever had. We elected to have dinner at the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay as it was just that exceptional. The fresh octopus, mixed fish, and tiramisu were a few of our favorites yet every dish was as breathtaking as the sunset view from the terrace! Compliments to Genaro and the chef as we truly enjoyed every bite of every course. Needless to say, the close-knit family staff and Hotel Pellegrino are part of something very special and have created an experience nothing short of spectacular. It was an absolute pleasure to experience this beauty and level of hospitality during our short stay. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
