Our two-night stay at Regia Trazzera, Tenuta Cillone, offered a mesmerizing experience in a beautiful setting. Situated amidst stunning natural surroundings, including a valley and a river running through the property, the place is a sanctuary for anyone looking to escape the daily grind. The rooms were both clean and spacious, providing a welcoming atmosphere to rest and relax. The staff was notably friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate our every need. When it came to food, the breakfast was fantastic—both in quality and variety. Dinner, while tasty, had a couple of downsides; it was a bit on the expensive side, and the portions could have been more generous. The only significant hiccup was the path leading from the main road to the property. It's a rural lane that winds through fields, making for a rather uncomfortable drive, especially if you're not in a vehicle designed for such terrains. It's a point that the property should consider improving for future guests. Unique to our experience was the feeling of having the entire place to ourselves on the first night, as the staff doesn't stay on the property overnight. It was both eerie and magical. Would I return to Regia Trazzera, Tenuta Cillone? Definitely, but I hope to see some improvements, particularly with the approach road and dinner pricing. My partner and I recently stayed at Regia Trazzera and we had an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and the very attentive Host. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed to make ourselves at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible food. Every meal we had at Regia Trazzera was delicious and fresh and the cook was incredibly friendly. Aside from the excellent service and accommodations, we also enjoyed the beautiful surrounding countryside. The views were absolutely breathtaking and we loved to spend time there. Overall, we highly recommend Regia Trazzera to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The friendly staff, amazing food, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back and visit again!

The location was surprising to us. I guess we did not read enough about the property before we booked. We drove on a dirt road among olive trees wondering if we were lost. It was glorious. We arrived at this rustic, beautiful farmhouse with wonderful staff that took care of us like we were family. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay with the most beautiful views. The grounds are gorgeous.

Delicious continental breakfast and cakes made by the chef in the restaurant. The staff were very kind and helpful and the location was idyllic when the sun came out.

We arrived during a thunderstorm and the road up to the property was hard to drive on with our small rental car. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and we had to go to Ragusa to get dinner.

The room is a good size with a spacious bathroom. It opens up onto a grassy courtyard with seating. And there are many more lovely outdoor areas to enjoy. The bedding is so comfy, absolutely luxurious. And of course, with the hotel's location out in the countryside, it's extremely quiet all night long. We felt so well taken care of by Salvo, Antonio and their crew. We learned about the restoration of the property and could appreciate all the work that's been done to make this a quality hotel. They kindly let us park our car for several days while we took a bike trip. There are hikes to do right from the property and Ragusa and Modica and more are only a short drive away (be prepared for hills if you are on a bicycle!) There is a wonderful restaurant. Make sure to try the Nero D'Avola they have for sale. It's divine. The breakfast we had was beyond abundant - it had every type of homemade breakfast food you could imagine. This is definitely a place to come back to.

Very nice stay on a private property on the road to Ragusa. Amazing owners/staff happy to help with all things needed, a lot of choices available for breakfast. Rooms are beautifully renovated, very modern.

A little difficult to get to - up a hill on a small dirt road.

The location was in a vaste, quiet domain with olive trees and carrubo/carob trees. The bedding was very comfortable, the stuff was really nice, always trying to satisfy our needs. We had a nice dinner the day we arrived, and in the morning, the breakfast was superb.

That the bathroom had an open window (there was no glass) and it was quite chilly in the evening.
