A true gem of a countryside hotel, a feeling of isolation yet only 15 min drive into Centre. Silva (the Houseman) was exceptional - personable, anticipatory. The house holds endless amounts of antiquities but well presented, does not feel overwhelming. I can see why this place would be popular for both summer and winter events. The perfect place to hold a wedding, family reunion, or best friends escape. I very much enjoyed my moments there, and the little bird that sang to me each night. Best sleeps in a long time

Only that I wish my schedule alllowed me to stay longer, when the pool would be ready for summertime. The drive into the property may intimate some but it’s fine, just try to do so first time in daylight so you understand the small country lanes

Everything was wonderful. It is a very tranquil with rooms with antiques. I wish we would have had more days to visit. Silva the grounds keeper and jack of all trades, he does everything was so nice and accommodating. He is a true jewel! The grounds were well kept and we loved having breakfast outside by the pool. Silva was setting up for a weekend wedding. It was magical! If I were getting married in Italy this is where I would want it to be! I would highly recommend staying at this location.

There wasn’t a thing we didn’t like.

If you want a quaint and beautiful bed and breakfast with a countryside feel and antique furnishing on a country road then this place is for you. My only caution is that you should have rented a car to stay there since getting to the location would be costly by taxi.

The location is very nice if you have a car but would not recommend it to someone who is traveling by taxi.

This accommodation has to be the best we’ve come across for a long time. Silva, the wonderful housekeeper, gardener, host, attendant and Jack of all Trades was most helpful and attentive throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. If you need anything just ask. All the animals are outdoors ones but great to meet the cats, dogs and duck too. Spending time in the pool was heavenly, we had 30 plus degrees so wonderful after hot days siteseeing in Ravenna. The house is worth the stay just to spend time looking at all the collections of antiquities, there are many. We stayed in the Green Room, Verde. Quirky, quaint and comfortable. If you’re English speaking the bathroom taps will confuse cos H and C mean hot and cold. C in Italian is calde, hot so the taps are swapped round. Comfortable beds if a little squeaky. Breakfast is the usual Italian fare, sweet and savoury and plenty of it. Linen table cloths on the breakfast table, what a lovely touch. It made us feel extra special. You’ll stay longer than you intended given half the chance. A little difficult to find the first time and I’d recommend you arrive in daylight. Once you know where it is, you’ll be fine.

Wonderfully unique b&b in an amazing old farmhouse run by a lovely family in the country outside of beautiful Ravenna. I've been an airbnb superhost for seven years and have traveled much in the world. I know when I find a great place and this is definitely one!

That it was too cold to use the lovely pool and that I couldn't stay longer.

This old farmhouse is beautifully positioned in the quiet countryside, in the middle of a big garden with trees and a lawn and secluded swimming-pool area. We were sorry we only booked one night on our way to southern Italy as it would have been a perfect place for a mini-break or a long week-end. The house is furnished with authentic furniture and is full of antique farming tools, loads of old kitchen gadgets and other equipment are put on display in several parts of the house open to guests. I imagine this could be interesting for children, on top of a chance for playing freely around the yard. Perfectly friendly staff even provided dinner for us at a very short notice, which was excellent.

The place could be difficult to reach for passengers without their own transport.

Very quiet and peaceful location with lots of shared space. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Best shower we had in Italy so far. The breakfast was also great.

The location is a bit challenging to find if you miss the sharp turn off the highway, so use googlemaps. The doors to the shared area and to the garden seemed locked during the night. The swimming pool was under repair and the wifi was very unstable.

Good place for rest. Very nice ambiance and well decorations peaceful place.

Bad wifi, they can use cellular internet. There are no 7/24 bottled water or cafe. You must ask from the conselier. No transportation except bicycle or personal car.

rich and versatile breakfast inluded in price was amazing. the place is even more adorable than the pictures show. beautiful garden, eclectic interior and a bit remote location make this property one of a kind and we will surely return here when we visit Ravenna.
