- central location. like all the other comments this hotel was 3 minutes from trevi fountain (great for anyone who wants to wake up at 6 am for pictures) - we did ask for a kettle which they did provide for us. they also saw we were a family of 5 and gave us a mini fridge in the room which was so nice as well. - the owner was very open and willing to give recommendations so feel free to ask him for any ‘local’ tips.

- our bathroom door was broken. after we told the owner he said that the previous visitors did break it and the mechanics were aware/on their way. (they didn’t come throughout our trip) this wasn’t ideal for us (ie a family of 5) but maybe that’s why he put a fridge in our room instead. ***not linked to the hotel directly but the area around the hotel/trevi foundation can get very crowded so it may not be the most peaceful place.

I had an amazing stay at this boutique hotel in Rome! The location was perfect—walking distance to all the major attractions. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and despite being in a busy area, it was wonderfully quiet thanks to the soundproof windows. The staff went above and beyond, recommending great places to visit and providing helpful tips over WhatsApp. The service, location, and overall value were fantastic. I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Rome!

That the holiday come to a end !! Cause it was perfect .

The PERFECT location if you want to be close to everything. The Trevi fountain is literally around the corner. The staff and I believe the owner, are amazing. The receptionist helped us with our bags and explained everything in the room for us when we arrived. The manager/owner also helped us arrange a taxi for our trip to the airport in the early morning. Amazing staff, amazing location, clean room and truly just had a great experience with this booking. I couldn’t recommend it any more.

Amazing customer service. We had to book this stay short notice, and we were so impressed with the assistance we received. Not only did we have a shuttle pick us up- (we were delayed), we had prompt responses and a warm friendly face at the airport and the hotel. Very clean and quiet. Amazing location, and they set up a cot so nicely for my son! They made it into a little bed with sheets and everything. Thank you for making this seamless and wonderful for my little family of 3.

Location is great, nice restaurants, bars, and attractions around, room is great, silent, fresh renovated. Personnel very polite, helpful and professional. Trevi fountain is just less than one minute walk, which is great if you wake up early you can have a nice photo session with nobody around!

Only a very little detail which doesn't affect the great overall experience we had: To get hot water for a shower (late evening), we had to let the water run for about 5/7 minutes. A possible isolated case.

The place was cool (which was really fortunate in the hot Rome). And clean. At arrival the staff, was super friendly and gave us a clear and concise explanation of the place (A/C, shower etc) but also have us good information about where to eat and where to drink. He helped us with arranging a taxi. All was taken care of really well.

There is nothing I could think of that was not nice or well done. The photos could be a bit more clear on the website. The first photo on booking.com of the building doesn't look attractive. Looks old. But the inside of the hotel and staff is really good. Maybe to show off a bit more with that.

This is in the center of Rome. The Trevi fountain is just 59 steps from the front door. The manager was there during the day and early evening. He gave us good recommendations for dinner and some activities. He ordered our airport transportation for us. They were friendly and apologized for the stairs. They are putting a lift in soon. The place is 350 years old. For being in the center of things it was very quiet. The hotel is very clean. Loved the smell of the cleaner. Bath products are nice! Orange blossom scented. They gave us bottles of water free in the room. They helped us get a room when the room we had booked at another place was suddenly unavailable.

The room had a queen or King sized bed. The mattress was OK. The furnishings were basic and appear to have come from IKEA. No chair or sofa to sit on. When in bed at night you can see that the light in the hall is on around the door frame. Maybe some weather stripping would be helpful. My hisband is very light sensitive when sleeping. The bathroom in the hall is private. You must lock and unlock it each time you use it. Imagine 4AM.... However you can sit on the toilet and brush your teeth. The shower is the size of a telephone booth. They need a shelf or some hooks n the bathroom. There is no place to hang a towel or put your clothes. There is no lift and we had accommodations on the 3rd floor. (Really the 4th floor by USA standards.)

Highly recommend!!! The staff were extremely welcoming and super friendly. They helped us with the luggage and also gave us short brief about the places around and easiest way to go to specific places. The place itself has kept its special old-time energy from the outside and still provides everything you need in the modern life from the inside. Rooms are cozy and very clean with smart TV, air conditioning and comfy beds. Bathrooms and toilets are quite small but still enough to do your job:) Location is more than perfect, literally one minute on walk from Trevi fountain and main shopping streets. We highly recommend 59 steps:)

Fantastic location, especially for the price. They arranged an airport transfer for me. Great communication. The host was absolutely lovely and went over a city map with me and gave me some recommendations. They also held my bags for me after I checked out so I could do some more exploring before coming back to get them. The original tile floors are also very beautiful. Would stay again.

The rooms weren’t the most soundproof but wasn’t a dealbreaker. You have to take the stairs up to the rooms so if you have big/many bags this might be a hassle.

59 Steps Trevi in Rome was a very nice hotel, positioned in an excellent location, next to Fontana di Trevi. Nicely designed in style hotel, offering perfect room conditions, a beautiful relaxation hall and more. We found the room perfectly cooled at our arrival, so nice. Alessandro and Lorenzo have offered a great service, prior and after the check-out, very professional, nice and patient, random you would be offered the same. Looking forward to coming back to Rome and 59 Steps Trevi Hotel.
