Hotel is situated in a great location basically in the center (but despite being very close to the center, it was actually a very quiet location). You can just walk to the Vatican or to the Castel Sant'Angelo and be there in a couple of minutes, which is fantastic. Hotel was very clean and well taken care of. All staff in the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful; they even helped us by borrowing us a corkscrew which we didn't have so that we could open our wine bottle. Breakfast was fantastic with an amazing view of the Rome. Beds were super comfortable (mattress is relatively harder, which we enjoyed) and we slept super well. Sleep was also improved by great curtains which can make 9AM look like 2AM. Overall, I think that this hotel offers a great value for the price (we saw similarly priced hotels kilometers from the center), is clear and pretty fancy, we were very happy with our visit and if we ever find ourselves in Rome, we will surely visit again!

We were super happy with our visit, so this is really a nitpicking: Entrance doesn't stand out very well and could be marked a little bit better. Equipment is starting to shows its age, but nothing bad. We were happy with breakfast, but missed some kind of coffee machine for espresso or some similar proper coffee, I mean, we're in Italy, baby! The elevator is very slow and goes by a weird order, so we often just took the stairs. There was an AC shaft (or something like that) next to our window and we could hear a noise from it nonstop, which could be disruptive to someone. However, in our case, I think it actually improved our sleep, so we cannot complain. :)

Breakfast are very good with amazing views, but young woman waiter wasnt nice and polite. Area is perfect, close to everything, thats why I choose this hotel very often and recommend it to my friends who visit Rome.

I stayed there again and would come back in future. Hotel is nice, but need refresh. Rooms are in old style, very very very small, what means it is hard to cross around bed, because on one side you have a bed on other wall. Bathtub had a jacuzzi option but not working.

The best thing about this hotel? Location, location, location. While the room we stayed in wasn't one of most modern, it had everything we needed, and, was more than adequate for our needs. The hotel was perfectly located for sightseeing, and is surrounded by busy restaurants and cafés. I think that we were less than ten minutes walk from St Peter's Square with plenty to see and do within a twenty minute walk.

The small, slow elevator was a little bit of a challenge at busy times.

Location. Clean. Nice. Easy to get to train station to sights. 3 stops away. The surrounding restaurants were great.

We had the bigger room and had a terrible shower. No head. Just a wand. My daughters smaller room had an excellent shower. The balcony for the room faced the back of the building where it wasn’t so nice. But we didn’t get the room for the balcony.

The hotel is near Angel´s castle and not far from Vatican. Rooms were small but OK, . Price was adeqate and staff very nice. Roof top is worth to see. Breakfast was very good - there were scrabled eggs, ham, cheese and some sweet products.

Bathtube very uncomfortable and there was impossible to set up warm water (not hot or cold)

Very nice hotel, in an old traditional style, heavy wallpapers and drapes in striking colours; decent shower and bath, comfortable bed. Stunning roof terrace and bar, lovely breakfast room; The staff were all extremely pleasant and efficient, and the location, close to the Vatican (400yds) was perfect for us. Lots of small bars and restauarants within a few minutes walking distance, all decent and very reasonably priced.

Found the room very warm at times and temperature hard to control; prices were quite expensive up on the roof terrace; main lift was small and slow, but there is a second, much larger and faster lift around the corner, not signposted. Breakfast itself was a little disappointing as only comprised croissants, yoghurt and other continental style food, Hot options were available at additional cost and again were slightly pricey.

The rooftop is extraordinary. There is a panoramic view all over the city and it is wonderful. The restaurant also has a great view. The employees are very welcoming. Also the hotel is very close to the Vatican and to the historical city center.

There was a step in the room (between the "lobby" and the bedroom), which was quite dangerous because it was easy to forget it.

Fantastic hotel within walking distance of St Peters Square. The rooftop bar may be expensive, but you are paying for the fantastic view. Breakfast in the restaurant also offers fantastic views. Buffet style but plenty of options. Rooms cleaned daily. Staff always happy to help

Especially the wonderful roof terrace and restaurant! Access all day and evening for a meal, a drink, or just to enjoy the spectacular view of St Peter’s. Staff were courteous and attentive. My single room was small but comfortable and quiet - good bed, up to date bathroom. Wifi connection was fine: this is important for me.

It would have been good to have a “ Tea’s Made” in the room for tea & coffee.

-our room was a little old but rather clean - the picture on booking showed many options (also ham and cheese) for breakfast but then we found out that the breakfasts included in the price of the room is only cornetto (which is fine, we know that this is what Italians eat, we were disappointed after having seen the pictures). still, the view compensates that!
