Excellent location, very close to St Peter’s Basilica and Castel Sant’Angelo. There are also lots of restaurants nearby. The suite that my wife and I stayed was spacious, clean and well-equipped. Quick response to our request of turning on heat of towel warmer. We also love the view of St Peter’s Basilica from the rooftop restaurant. Fresh honey served at breakfast is a surprise. Enjoy our stay and will choose to stay here again if we visit Rome again.

Can’t find any English speaking channels at TV; No ventilation in the bathroom ; A note of the use of emergency string at shower tub will be preferable; Need to pull the lift door before enter.

We had an amazing time at the Trianon. We stayed there our entire week stay in Rome. The rooms were spacious. The breakfast was great - just what we needed, enough variety to stay interested for our week stay and awesome views. Laundry was easy and free. Cleaning service was daily and did a good job. We didn’t find the rooms run down as mentioned below. Great value too!

It’s a little off the beaten path being near the Vatican. For us that was perfect and we loved the nearby restaurants but does take an Uber or public transit to get to a few major sights. The showers are difficult to get into and out of - small - for us it wasn’t a problem but may not be suitable for everyone.

Excellent location, rooftop breakfast view was amazing and breakfast food was nice. Spacious and super clean apartment with decent kitchen basics, storage and large fridge. Very good adjustable AC. Friendly staff. Quiet, nice neighbourhood. Many restaurants, gelateria and shops around the corner or short walk away.

Slightly noisy inside the hotel, could always hear reception staff (in an indoor court yard). Glitchy Cable TV, and only news channels were in our languages. Both bed side lamps in one bedroom didn't work. The Sofa bed was very creaky. Shower head holder flimzy. Our bed was ok, all pillows were quite flat.

The location was perfect. Best location for visiting Rome. The breakfast was great as well. The personnel was very professional, kind and friendly, always helping when requested. I reported problem with the water pressure in the sink, and they solved it immediately the day after. We stayed in an apartment with a large balcony (almosy as big as the appartment) so it was worth the extra money. The view from both the room and the dining balcony was as from a postcard. A lot of very nice restaurants around the hotel. Vatican is just round the corner, and the center of Rome reachable by foot. And the place was quiet and relaxing at nights.

The shower cabin is a bit small, kept bumping my elbows in the glass, luckily I'm not that big, so if you are a larger person might be a problem. The hotel should provide water and coffee refill after the initial welcome stock. The cleaning lady did not clean the balcony, and the table on the balcony.

The location is excellent - all important facilities are within walking distance or by Hop On Hop Off, so we didn't use the public transport at all. We were in Rome for Easter and the location of the hotel allowed us to be very close to the Vatican, as well as the biggest sights in Rome. The apartment was regularly cleaned and it could be heated or cooled as needed. The sound insulation from the outside was excellent, while it could be better inside the hotel itself.

The kitchen is very well equipped with household appliances, but there is a lack of kitchen utensils. For example, there were no wine glasses, and we were in Italy :) Considering the category of the hotel, the breakfast could have been richer, with more choices, but that's a matter of taste. The beds could have been more comfortable.

Location is absolutely wonderful. The street its on is full of life and has a few nice restaurants you can sit outside and partake in. Gelati is also abundant. So close to St Peter’s and the Vatican. The breakfast provided has good selection and gives everyone something to enjoy. The staff were most accommodating and helpful. Helped us find the best pasta we have ever had! Not much to really gripe about.

Only issue is there is no fan in the bedroom and the AC could not be turned on until May. We came last week of April so it was quite warm and i was wondering why the AC had not been working. Turns out it’s a regulation placed in Rome that AC can’t be turned on until May. I was not aware and was a bit annoyed because the nights got a little stuffy and hot. opening the window helped but it let in all the noise as well.

Everything went well. The Trianon Borgo Pio hotel requested a taxi van to move our family (2 x adults, 1 x toddler, and 1 x 6 year old) to and from the airport. The room was wonderful and had a fantastic view. Breakfast was phenomenal and the dining area is situated with a wonderful view of St. Peter’s. The location was ideal for us as a family - quieter and more residential, just great. We found a delicious gelato spot just down the road, and there is a playground and open green space by the Castle of the Angels. Thank you to the Trianon team :) We hope to return some day.

I can’t think of anything that could have been better. Check out went smoothly, and there is a lounge, eating area, and baggage storage area in the basement level that supports baggage storage after check out, which really helped us during the departure day.

The hotel is well positioned between two main attractions: Castle Sant' Angelo and Vatican. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and there is also a Carrefour market very close. The apartment was clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast was OK, but not fantastic as there are no vegetables available.

A nice to have would be a coffee machine in the apartment and some vegetables at breakfast. The elevator was not working the day we arrived, so we had to use the stairs. The WI-FI service was quite poor in the apartment.

Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The view from the terrace was amazing especially at night. Around the corner is Borgo Pio, a street filled with outdoor cafes, restaurants and touristy shops to pick up last minute mementos of your trip. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and there’s a room to do your laundry and a place to store your baggage and staff to help you arrange tours. Highly recommend.

It was a very pleasant stay. From the first minute we felt at home. The staff is very warm and friendly and always helpful. The apartment was really comfortable, everything was in its place, it couldn't be better. Actually it felt bigger than it looked like in the photos, which surprised us (usually it's the other way round). The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made pancakes :) And the view to the Saint Peter's Basilica made each morning an unforgettable experience. We loved the location, a few steps from Vatican City but quietly tuck away from the main busy streets. The metro station is ten minutes walk away and you can catch a convenient bus to the city center right in the next street. If I ever come back to Rome I know where I'm staying. And of course I'll recommend Trianon Borgo Pio to my friends.
