The host is very friendly, helpful and detail-oriented! As soon as we arrived he gave us 2 maps and he offered to show us the surrounding supermarkets and good restaurants, the options to travel to the city center and some walking routes to visit main attractions. The room was very clean, equipped with hairdryer, basket with shower gel, non-slip shower mat, shower dry mat and plenty of cloth hangers. The host thoroughly cleans the room and the mats after every guest (I have seen him in action!) The kitchen is fully functional. The breakfast is italian style, not continental! The B&B Birba is located at about 20 minutes walking from the metro station Jonio (one of B1's endings). Metro is the most reliable form of transportation in Rome!

Franco is pleasant host and very helpful. Place is clean and have everything that you need for short stay. The neighborhood is safe. Transportation: 10 min. walk from apartment to B1 metro line or you can wait for example bus 38 to reach metro. We bought ticket for all transport in Rome for 7 days which cost 24 euros per person. Our advice for everybody, avoid Termini as much as possible .Inside Termini station it is safe but outside is not.

The bedroom and the attached bathroom and toilet were clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Pillows, bed cover, blanket and towels were provided. The host was friendly. He lives in the same property. Although he doesn't speak fluent English, he managed to explain essential information to us such as bus/metro connectivity between the property and the city, important tourist attractions etc. Check-in time was flexible. We were able to check-in late at around 11:45pm.

It would take atleast 45 mins to reach the city from the property. There is a bus stop nearby. But the buses are not punctual. We can not sometimes rely on the bus timing provided by google/other apps. Other option is to walk to the nearest metro station - Jonio, which is around 20-25 mins walk from the property. The neighborhood was not as clean as we expected. The breakfast were provided. However, it consists of only coffee, milk, cereals, some biscuits and bread.

We have stayed for 4 nights, and this appartment had everything we needed. It is located in the calm area with the good connection to the city centre. We used metro to comute and it was super easy and fast! The host was friendly and gave us tips how to comute and where to eat and what parts of Rome to visit. The appartment was clean and beautifuly decorated. We recommand this place to fullfill your Rome experience!

The room and the bathroom were very big and clean. Very nice and big house and a quiet place. Our host was a very nice and smiling person, so helpful with everything! He gave us a map of the city and explained to us how we should move and interesting locations to visit!

We didn't really like the location of the house, which was on the suburbs of the city and we needed a bus and the metro to reach the centre. We also didn't like that the area we were living was so dirty.

The room and bathroom are very spacious. The whole room was very clean and colourful. Franco the host was very nice during check in and waited patiently especially that there was a delay in the arrival time. There is free coffee and breakfast on the property.

The only downside is the distance from the city centre, however the very nice accommodation compensated it.

I liked the cleanliness, the privacy, and the price. Franco was very warm and friendly. In the kitchen, there were enough appliances for cooking.

There was no washing machine. Therefore, all dishes should be washed by hand. Although breakfast was included, the guest should wash the breakfast dishes.

Everything was very clean, the owner is SUPER NICE! He explains absolutely everytrhing about Rome and even plans your stay if you want and gives insights into what to visit. I’ve never seen someone so dedicated and passionate! Would recommend this 10/10

Room, bathroom, and the common area were always spotlessly clean and never with any bad amell. Very spacious room and bathroom, equipped with all what was needed (table, chairs, hanggers...). Excellent wifi.

Far away from the points of interest and it can be reached by metro line B - last station Jonio and then 20min walk, or by bus which is very rare and unpredictable.

Franco is a very helpful, nice and friendly person. The entire apartment is clean and nice. The room and bathroom we got were large and well-kept. You can see that the owner puts his whole heart into managing the facility.
