We arrived jet lagged from US and ordered a taxi ahead of time through the hotel. It was craziness, hundreds of people looking for their taxis as well. The guy was late but we got to our hotel. We arrived at our hotel jet lagged and early (11 am) and was told our room was not ready yet but the receptionist would update us. Check in is in the afternoon so we understood and sat in the lounge area and within 10 minutes our room was ready. We had booked a room with a balcony and it was beautiful looking out towards the Vatican surrounding by walls. You are literally across from the entrance to the Vatican Museum . There is a grocery store and a cute Italian restaurant (archi something) right down the street, plenty of places for gelato. But the best thing I like as a first timer as I started to get my bearings walking around in Rome is that you can follow the Vatican walls right into St Peter's Square and not get lost. Breakfast is right off the lobby with fresh fruit, pastries and warm food like eggs and bacon. They also have a roof top patio and you can take your breakfast up the elevator and look out over beautiful Rome. The best part was dealing with the receptionist Sylvia or Sylvie, she is wonderful. Helped us with our horrible Italian, giving us directions to restaurants and little things we should know. She is a gem for this hotel!!!! Everyone went to Sylvia if they needed help. We were with a Rick Steve's tour but we came a day early and she made us feel welcomed and at home which was so helpful to me as a first time European traveler.

No complaints. It was clean, not noisy, central to the Vatican and Vatican Museum. If I had to complain about something it was that the pillows were not so soft but we enjoyed our stay immensely.

A nice small hotel having a very good location. Rooms were clean and every day cleaning and making the bed. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast is somehow plain, but includes everything you need to start your day, the breakfast room was nice. We visited the hotel the 5th post-Corona day, the roof terrace was not in use yet, otherwise everything was as in web presentation and according to previous guests good remarks. The area is full of small nice street restaurants. Next time I'll visit Rome I will choose this hotel again, and I'll recommend it to my friends. The hotel offers transport from airport for 50 € (max. 4 persons) - you have to order that at least one day before arriving. I didn't do that in time, I think it's a good offer worth buying, It's a time consuming hassle to pick up taxis yourself or to travel to center by train.

There was nothing I didn't like. It's a perfect place for a couple visiting Rome for a few days. The location in vicinity of the Vatican is really nice; a short night promenade from hotel to the Vatican area is an experience you will remember.

The location was excellent for us as I was travelling with my 88 year old mother. The fact that the hotel was right in front of Musei Vaticani was awesome! My interactions with Giulia (with all our back and forth chats and my numerous questions prior to us arriving in Rome, plus the check-in process with her) and the check-out process with Paolo were great experiences.

The hotel can benefit from more smiles and customer service from the staff they have at the daily breakfast buffets. It takes less muscles to smile you know! Such a difference between Giulia and Paolo and the staff at the daily breakfasts. The hotel rooms could also use some freshening-up as the room looks very dated.

The best thing that the hotel has is the staff: very nice, polite and always smiling. 10+ The second great thing is the location: few minutes from the metro station Ottaviano, a few steps from Musei di Vatican. The room is pretty small, but just enough for a city brake. Also, it was very warm all the time, we had 2 pillows each, the mattress was really good and the sheets are made from a very nice and soft material.

What can be improved: to put a real glass in the bathroom, not a plastic glass; and to have a quality toilet paper. A brush for clothes or for shoes would be a nice touch too. The hotel also has breakfast, but you have to search a bar if you want to drink something later in the day. We didn’t took the breakfast at the hotel because of our schedule and usually lunch hours, so we cannot tell something about it; maybe that the smell was really good

The staff was very polite and always smiling willing to help us out with anything we wanted.

The breakfast wasn’t what we expected. Too many sweets and not a variety in savory dishes. Either of them were not fresh, but the most frustrating of all was the freezing temperature of everything, temperature of the room included. There was a machine for 3 different types of juice and water, only the water was drinkable: juices were either mixed with water or too much syrup (?); so no fresh juice or at least bottled. The good thing was the coffee machine which offered a variety of coffees.

Baggage drop off early in the morning was great! We were coming off of a cruise and needed a place for our luggage to stay safely while we toured and explored the city! Staff were all very helpful with any questions we had and made some great local suggestions on things to do and see while we were there! I will definitely look to stay here when I return to Rome and also recommend it to others!

If I had to complain about anything at all, I would only say that I wish the breakfast started earlier like some of the other hotels we stayed in. We had an 0730 taxi and would have loved a chance to try the breakfast food there. Every other part of our stay was great!

The receptionists were really nice to us, treated us with respect and with a smile on their faces 😁 The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and the place is really close to the city of Vatican. It was an amazing staying!

The only thing that bottered us was the fact that the bathroom got really wet when we took our showers, and also that they don't change the bed linen or clean the room, just organize them.

The location of this hotel is amazing! My son had a broken ankle and we had an evening tour at the Vatican the day we arrived so it made it so easy to meet our tour, up the stairs and boom; you're there! The restaurants that are all around the corner are fabulous! A great neighborhood for shopping, eating and getting around the Vatican. Our room had a balcony and nice AC with very comfortable beds and bedding. And there is an elevator which not all hotels in Rome have. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the wonderful front desk receptionists! We can not wait to go back!!!

This hotel is excellent in so many ways; the only negative is I wish the breakfast was open longer than 10am and especially wish we could have gotten an espresso drink later than 10am!

Great location, close to the Vatican. The staff is friendly. The room was not bad, but the view from the window was a bit disappointing.

The breakfast was not very good. It offered a large selection of savory and sweet options, and everything looked nice enough. But it didn't taste good. Dry scrambled eggs, weird fried sausages, dried meat cuts. It felt like eating yesterday's breakfast. The pastries taste like they came from the supermarket. I was very disappointed, considering that Italian food is very good.

The location near the vatican was perfect.

The mattresses were good but not amazing and the soap dispenser in shower was all purpose shampoo and body soap, and it also ran out the second day. The staff were a little short with us at times and the elevator was being cleaned when we checked out and we could not use it to bring down luggage.
