Hearth Hotel

The hotel is in really good part of the city, next to the Vatican city walls and entrance to the Vatican Museums. The family suite was nice size, simple equipped, clean and with neat little terace. Hotel staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple, but good. Very wide variety of sweet pastry, salty snacks were a bit limited. But it fulfill the purpose for quick and solid morning meal. Nice variety of cereals for kids was pleasant. Breakfast on the terace almost next to the Vatican walls is amazing.

I would appreciate wider variety on non sweet meals. But averall it was not bad.

Amazingly friendly and kind staff with a 24-hour reception desk that makes you feel safe and secure. Room photos look slightly a bit more stylish than in reality but still the room had all I needed like all in one shampoo and towels. Very convenient location and just 2 mins away from the entrance of the Vatican Museums which is good if you plan to arrive early. Walking distance to Castel S Angelo and St Peter’s Basilica. Close to the Ottaviano Station which can bring you to the Termini Station for other trips. Supermarkets (Todis and Carrefour) available just across the road. Some restaurants in the area.

Some noise from vehicles could be heard at night but after 12am until was fine. Bearable for me but just think it would not be a place where light sleeper wants to stay. Would be great if traveller toothbrushes were available.

Very convenient location for those who wish to visit the Vatican, as it is located next to the Vatican Museums. Also within walking distance from the historical city center. Was upgraded from individual to double room, with a view to the Vatican (and the long queues), a good size, modern bathroom and good bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice italian breakfast with good on-demand coffee, Good sized laptop safe was very convenient, as was the effective A/C.

Nothing really relevant. The elevator is very slow, but that is a minor annoyance. For light and late sleepers, the nearby roar from the people in the museum queue and traffic can be a bit disturbing early in the mornings (not a problem for me, and you can ask for a room on the other street).

Location of the hotel is perfect. Entrance to the Vatican Museum is seen from the hotel room window. Metro station , grocery shop and restaurants are located nearby. Hotel staff is very nice , friendly and polite. Ready to assist you with any questions. Room cleaning is held every day and is very good. 24H check-in feature of this hotel and cute little gift after check-out is very nice.

Noise isolation could have been better. Even at night you hear noises from road traffic. For some reason noise is also can be heard from neighbours while they are using their bathroom.

the staff is exceptional… helpful and friendly. I shipped my suitcase to the hotel for them to hold while I walked a Camino. They sent me photos to show it had arrived safely!

The room did not have air conditioning and it was hot for several days during our stay. Because our windows opened to the street where tourists queued for entry into the Vatican Museum, it was very, very noisy so had to keep window closed. The queue started forming very, very early and were still there very late when the museum opened in the evenings.

We stayed in room 104 the first weekend in October. We booked this hotel because of the reviews and price point and wow did we choose correctly. The Hotel was close to the Vatican museum entrance and Vatican City wall which was literally at the end of the hotel building. Guiddo and Alberto where the nicest staff that we have ever encountered looked forward to talking with them each time we entered or was leaving the hotel. They both provided maps, wrote out directions, recommended delicious restaurants, informed us of the day and time the Pope would be addressing the people which was a once in a lifetime experience for someone from the United’s States, and made sure we were aware of the safe areas after dark. The hotel was very nice with updated decor throughout the hotel very chic. The complimentary breakfast was delicious it was like you own little cafe & there was seating outside. A Nice gentleman brought me a great cup of expresso. The hotel is close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and the metro to get you around to other parts of Rome. I told the manager as we were checking out (there is always someone at the front desk )they should have people begging to stay here. If ever in Rome again this will be our home away from home. Guiddo I hope you get to visit the U.S. (Boston) again in the near future and Alberto I hope you are able to visit your hometown of Sardinia soon. Zach & Dana Holtel

The staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful. They help you with taxi pick-up and anything else you need. Distance to the Vatican museum is excellent, one block away. It is also close to St Peter's Basilica. It has several restaurants down the street. I recommend Claps. The place is safe.

I find breakfast was poor. You can have a good breakfast for less of what they charge at the hotel. The hotel needs some upgrades.

The staff were all very friendly. The gentleman at reception was very helpful; he gave us a map and talked us though all the places we should visit during our stay and recommended great restaurants. The reception was 24/7. Room was big. A very short walk to Vatican City and the nearest metro was only around the corner.

The location of this hotel is great if you are sightseeing for only a few days. Our room looked out onto the Vatican City walls however it was so noisy through the night with traffic and vehicles beeping horns that we slept for about 5 hours the first night of our stay. Unfortunately this continued for the next few nights, I wouldn't say I am a light sleeper and the noise from outside kept me awake for hours.

Front Desk staff was helpful in all ways. From ordering taxis, printing boarding passes and knowledge of the city.

The buffet breakfast was a bit underwhelming but much appreciated as it was a good start to the day. The Front desk staff had told us it was a bare minimum breakfast buffet before buying but it was much better than expected.The price was 10 Euros per person...much less than a full on breakfast at a restaurant.

The staff there is exceptional amazing. Very kind, very polite, it is hard to find that helpful staff as they are. The room itself was great for that price in August. It’a perfect location for someone who is visiting Vatican but it is also very close to the main part of the Rome which was positively shocking to me. Totally recommend! Hope to get back soon!

Maybe the shower would like to have a little touch up but it was okay
