Everyone working here was very nice, friendly and spoke great english. They helped us with all requests a kettle to the room, an extra pillow. The property was central enough, we traveled with a toddler so getting around Rome is a challenge in itself but for other travelers I think the location is central and has a metro right there. It is right under the park which was great with kids.

The Ac felt like it wasnt strong enough even when I put the temp to 16 it seemed to go at the same level. Still worked though. And also one key for the front door so if you split with your group and someone is arriving later, you have to have someone stayin up and waiting for you. But it wasn’t a big issue for us we managed.

The Air conditioning unit was extremely powerful that it helped us stay cool, balcony was a lovely added touch to the room. Location was ideal close to the Metro Staff was amazingly friendly, shout out to Christopher who came to our rescue one evening. Staff was always happy to help at any time. Lovely added touch was the whatsapp they sent you with details on how to get to the location and other important information.

The floor door was locked on return to hotel. As so old we struggled to open and as there is no reception staff from 9pm we had to call the emergency number. The double bed could've been better As fell through the middle of the bed on one night.

I was very impressed. The room was spacious, quiet, clean etc. Nice helpful staff. Good air conditioning. Shower was nice (need to leave the water to run quite a while to get hot water). There is a TV but just Italian channels. Good internet though. I’ve included info about what you see from the outside as that confused me after the taxi dropped me off. The hotel is on one floor in a residential building. I gather common in Rome. So there is no external sign. You need to press the buzzer than walk or get the lift to the first floor. Then there is a nice reception area. The location is excellent. There is a little mini supermarket a few minutes away and a metro stop is very close. I’d certainly go back and recommend it to others.

Simple but excellent accommodation. Others had warned about "thin walls," but that was not our experience. Comfortable beds. The balcony was a pleasant spot to have a cup of coffee (though there was some construction noise—not noticeable from inside the room). Fresh towels and bed make-up each day was a nice touch. We loved the location, very near the Metro and an easy walk into the heart of Rome, but tucked enough away to not be too crowded. Being near Villa Borghese was a bonus. Lots of cafes, restaurants and markets nearby.

Location very good, next to piazza del popolo and Metro station. The building was safe, main entrance opened only with keys. Quick communication with the staff. Whatever we asked them they made their best for it. We asked for kettle and cups in the room, and they brought them immediately.. They kept our suitcases extra hours before check in and after check out with no charge. I recommend it.

Maybe they should have kettle and cups in the room. More space to put your things in the room and in the bathroom

Accomodation is situated on 1st floor (elevator should be in the building but we didn't use it) in close proximity to Piazza del Popolo. Despite the host not offering any breakfast services, we were given recommendations on where to have one (there are plenty of bars with lots of pastries around). The room was nicely decorated, equipped with AC, a safe and mini fridge. Everyday cleaning service was a pleasant surprise.

I can point out the floor being very cold, in thus suggesting the host to add carpert in the room or at least supply guests with a pair of slippers. An extra door could also be added in the room to better isolate the noises of the main corridor.

Location is fantastic: 4 min walk to the metro station, 5 min to the Piazza del Popolo, from which 3 streets take you to different touristic locations, Spanish steps are 1km away. There are grocery shops and good food spots around. Check out Pastasciutta for good pasta, big portions, and nice price. The room was good. Big bed with a nice matras. There was no kettle with cups, but upon the request, they were provided. The room was cleaned , trash taken out every day, towels were changed once during four nights stay.

Nothing particular comes to mind.

Excellent location, at a walking distance from the Vatican (around 15-20 minutes) and Piazza del Popolo (5 - 7 minutes) from which you get to Via Del Corso, as well as Spanish Stairs, fountain the Trevi. We also walked to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, Navona square. It is certainly worth walking around Rome rather than taking public transport or taxis. The room was clean and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. There is Carrefour Express maybe 3 minutes away and Metro 5 minutes away and a Gourmet market in the close proximity to it and also a couple of restaurants right around the corner and i believe there should be more if you explore further.

They have cups and a kettle in the room, but no glasses for water or utensils, at least a spoon. Also, no tea bags. So make sure you take case of those if you need.

Amazing from start to finish. First of all, some of the reviewers mentioned it is not easy to find the property - I strongly disagree. If you follow the instruction given by the host through Booking.com (after you receive the confirmation), you will find it easily as it is explained into detail. The room is clean, spacious, bright, functional, the staff is helpful, and everything is easy to reach - the majority of landmarks are within walking distance, 20 to 25 mins. Also, we should agree that The Guest House is not the same as a 4* hotel, so our expectations must be based on what we booked. Still, I was surprised to find some of the in - room amenities I wasn't expecting, such as the luggage rack, hair dryer, hangers etc. All in all, really comfortable accommodation for a short stay, if you don't require a range of facilities and extra services. Thank you La Locanda, we will consider you if coming back to Rome!

The location is just perfect. There are many nice cafes and shops around, also close to big green area.

There were steps in my room (at the entrance and on the way to bathroom), I would ask to put yellow tape on them to raise attention. It could be dangerous for older people. I stumbled a few times.
