Location is within the Vatican City. Good restaurants and the best gelato is in the vicinity. The Vatican was a few steps away. We can actually view the walls of The Vatican from our room window. The place is very clean & neat. Filipinos owned and managed the place. There was a very good coffee machine we could use anytime for free. There is also a big open terrace we can stay.

Location fantastic! Staff friendly and communicative. Bed was comfortable - just ask for extra pillows if needed. TV had HDMI port so we could use the iPad to watch series at night. Wi-Fi was great. Free coffee in the community kitchen was a nice touch, and each room was provided with its own kettle as well! Mini fridge was good to keep small things in. Cleaning was provided everyday if you wanted. Radiator was nice to have, as we stayed in the winter. AC was also provided, it we didn’t need to use it.

Location can get a little loud at night if you keep the window open.

Gerlen was very accommodating and was very responsive pre, during and post stay. We rented a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom for 3 days and 2 nights and it felt like we had the run of the house. The communal kitchen was great, there was a washer on premises but no dryer but was ok because of the Italian heat, our clothes dried outside while we were out. The place has its own private patio with a lot of seating, a great way to spend dinner at after a long day of sightseeing. The place also has an elevator which helped with our luggage. And the location!!! You cannot beat the location, it is literally on the other side of the wall of St. Peter’s Square- a 6 minute walk. Lots of restaurants around the area and delicious gelateria next door. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you’re going to Rome, look up Gerlen at La Vite Vaticana!

Great location! Near Vatican, with walking distance to all the most important spots of the city. With 3 kids (the youngest just 4 years old) we didn't use the public transport or taxi even once. Big advantage is the proximity of St. Peter's Square which allows you to visit it during late evening hours, when it is not crowded but still impressive. The host was very helpful and informative. The rooms were cleaned every day. Well equipped kitchen and the terrace to use freely.

Our room was a lot bigger than I expected, comprising two separate bedroom areas and a bathroom with shower & bidet. There is also a communal kitchenette which we did not use but it was nice to have the option. Everything was spotlessly clean and the courtyard terrace was a nice place to relax even in the January weather. The hotel is right across the street from the Vatican - a few minutes walk away. the other main sights of Rome are easily accessed by public transport but are within walking distance if you are even averagely fit and healthy. Our hosts left us very clear instructions on how to enter (as we arrived on a sunday) and were very accommodating.

My only concern personally was that the bed was slightly short for me so my feet would hit the end board of the bed - but I am somewhat tall so this is in no way a slight against the hotel.

I don't know where to begin or how to express my deepest sense of gratitude to the staff and management of this place. They were so helpful and went above and beyond to help myself and my wife enjoy our stay. The check in and check out process was smooth with staff to help guide us through everything we needed. The location is amazing being close to st Peter's square. Definitely check out the gelato place directly downstairs. This place is beautifully situated close to both restaurants, public transportation and taxis. My only regret is we didn't stay longer as we really did enjoy this place. Big thank you once again to the staff for making our stay here in Rome so enjoyable.

We had an early morning tour at Vatican museum, so the place is just perfect, less than 5min walk to the door. The building is located within a gated housing area and below there's a few restaurants, not recommended any of those but it will be efficient when you arrived late and needed food like us. It's not noisy at all, still. The accommodation is just as described.

the room freshener in the common area is just too strong, it's an artificial sweet smell which is just not what I enjoy. However, once you're in your room, it's not gonna bother you. We don't use the common area so it was fine.

The location is amazing! Soo close to th3 Vatican. You can take a bus straight from the FCO airport and the guesthouse is a 10 minutes walk from the bus stop. (sitBus Shuttle- stop:Vaticano) There is a Gelato shop (Old Bridge Gelateria) downstairs from th3 guest house, it's a must try! Definitely best ice-cream I've ever had and it is very well priced.

Spacious and clean room and bathroom, and A/C controlled by occupants of room. Shared kitchen and room had snacks, tea, and coffee, and terrace was a nice plus. Gelato shop next door was very good and always busy. Lots of restaurants, shops, and the Vatican within walking distance. We would stay here again!

Not dislike, but I would highly recommend bringing your own shampoo/conditioner and body wash.

Housekeepers were very sweet and flexible for check in/out and luggage storage. Right next to Vatican city, close to amazing restaurants. Very clean and nice terrace! We had a lovely stay.

Very busy street, so quite noisy if you are a light sleeper. Luckily the bed was great so we slept good! Also note that things like Colosseo are at the other side of the city, we took the metro which was very close.
