Exceptional staff, they couldn't do enough for us & very friendly. They made our stay so special. The hotel has fantastic amenities (pool, bar, Restaurant etc..) The evening meals were outstanding with a a good selection on the menu & the Carbonara was heavenly!..the best we've ever had along with decadent creamy Tiramisu with a glass of Pinot grigio. The food is excellent quality & beautifully presented. The buffet breakfast has a vast selection of freshly made pastries, meats, cheese, biscuits, fruits, nuts & a good selection of drinks etc... Reasonably priced at 15€. The pool is nice with a shaded area for escaping the heat with an ice cold Peroni or Aperol Spritz. The Rooms were spacious & very clean with comfy beds, free WiFi & air conditioning. Thank you to all the incredible staff at Hotel Novotel Roma Est for a very memorable stay..we didn't want to leave xx

As we traveled by car, the location "not in the center of Rome" was not a problem. Free parking and enough places, also underground (entrance requires good driving skills if you happen to have a bigger car :). Great pool (that could have been open a few hours longer than 8pm in midsummer)! Kids playroom with air hockey.

We booked a room for four, but one child's place was not prepared. Since the room service had probably already left, getting the necessary bedclothes was quite a challenge. We understand that this is not the hotel's problem, but the access road would need new asphalt and the roadsides to be cleared of trash. After all, this is the first impression customers have of the hotel...

In my case the breakfast was not included, I paid 15 euros extra for the breakfast but was ok, good variety of food to choose. The room is confortable, quiet, nice and very clean. The location is quiet and nice to rest after and exiting day. About 25 minutes by car from the town of the city and about 20 - 30 minutes to the Fiumicino airport.

The hotel is well kept, and the staff was friendly. The swimming pool was a blast, although keep in mind that the building casts a shadow over it for most of the morning therefore the water can be very cold.

The location is not the best unless you have a car, is located in some sort of industrial state and getting there in the night makes you feel a bit uneasy. On the other hand, is not far from Ciampino Airport but as mentioned before you do require a car.

Rooms were very clean. Location was not that good and very difficult to get commute by train as the train station does not have a ticket vending machine.

Staff`s attitude toward the customer, like mentioned in the comments on the booking.com. Not supportive, reluctant to listen and not helpful.

I liked the room, the staff who were friendly and helpful, the table tennis, the swimming pool, and breakfast. Well suited for families.

I did not like the fitted carpet in the room which looked dirty. Water temperature in bath was not stable. From hot water to cold like Scottish shower. Tv channels were a bit limited, not in quantity but in variety. The location is far from the city centre. Someone would need at least 45 minutes to go to Rome centre.

Easily reached by car with free parking and anything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and well equiped, the staff helpfull and friendly. Rome airport is only 30 minutes away by car, and its' proximity to Rome ring road e80/a90 makes it an ideal stop on the way east or north

The room spacious, I’m disabled so access adaptions really worked for me, though need a non-slip shower and food was good quality & yummy

The facilities in the gym were very basic and minimal for a four star hotel. It is a shame the pool isn’t heated.

The windows did not have a net against mosquitoes and we had some during the first night, very difficult to sleep. We bought a device against mosquitoes the next day, there was not in the room.
