Martina who waited us at the reception area was friendly and nice. It is very modern, spacious and clean room. It was quite spacious for two of us staying for 3 nights in Rome. AC worked perfectly, enough day light and ventilation in the room because of a good sized window. Bathroom was dark but it wasn't a big issue to us. Location was only 2 mins walk from the closest station which was very useful to travel around in Rome. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We will definably come back to this place when we are in Rome again.

Like other people say, it is difficult to find the hotel. You ring the bell in the building then go up to the 3rd floor. There is no space that you can relax or wait like a lobby in this place. You can leave your luggage before check in or after check out but in a tiny communal bathroom with no lights nor lock so it didn't feel safe. Could be better with some useful things when you travel such as a standing mirror, proper smart TV (the TV is smart TV but it doesn't work), things to hang towel in the room. There is literally no air in the lobby section so it was very hot.

Location is really good, 2 mins walk from the nearest metro station, 10 mins from Vatican and 20 minutes from Piazza del Popolo. Gianluca is an amazing host, he was fast and clear to answer all our questions before and upon arrival, he also was very kind to come to check us in a bit later than indicated time. Room is really good, it has all necessary little things like a kettle and a small fridge, the bed is comfortable, bathroom is spacious. We liked our stay in Pietra, thank you!

The walls between rooms are not properly insulated, you can hear everything your neighbours do. There's no noise from the street though.

Definitely will come again! Perfect location, staff and facilities. Very polite and helpful owner. Powerful air conditioning. The place is near the hearth of Rome. Metro station in 1 min, city centre with the subway in 5 minutes. Near Vatican city. Good restaurants nearby. Everything was perfect. Thank you ! Highly recommend!

Our stay at Pietra was exceptional! The Appartment looked even better than the photos - really modern, great interior design and felt like staying in a Loft. The hotel doesn't have a lobby or reception but also doesn't actually need one since the Host (Gianluca) is available most of the time via WhatsApp and can operate everything remotely. We even had a very late Check-In and Gianluca arranged everything so that we could check in smoothly even at 1 AM! The hallway to the rooms looks like its taken straight out of a science fiction movie, the speakers play Jazz music and it always smelled excellent. It's located on a busy street across a university and right next to a bus stop and metro station. Which means that you have several options when it comes to breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as transportation in the vicinity of around 100 metres. Its only a 15 minute walk to the City Centre aswell as to the Vatican. I can't really think of a better location to stay in Rome. The rooms were tidy and were cleaned daily. The bathroom was roomy and had a great rainshower/360° shower as well as a bidet. This was probably the best looking Hotel Room i have ever stayed in. Considering the very very reasonble price i can confidently recommend it to each and everyone that's coming to Rome. Once i revisit Rome i will definetly be staying here again! As i already mentioned the staff was very helpful (even with the late check-in and especially when we locked ourselves out of our room at 9pm) and super super friendly :) thank you Gianluca!

Brits should be aware that this isn't a B&B hotel as we understand it - it is a room in a converted apartment in a turn-of-last-century block - but once we got over that we had a wonderful time at Pietra. Just a 10 minute stroll from the Vatican, the same the other way to Piazza del Popolo and the start of the Via del Corso, which leads down into Ancient Rome, past the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Everything in Rome is within walking distance, and the Metro isn't far away for those who prefer to minimise walking. Buses aplenty, too! Within Pietra we had a very modern room with modern bathroom - plenty of space in both - and (surprisingly for me) the bed was very comfortable; espresso machine, kettle, fridge, and safety deposit box made it a wonderful home from home. Also a mention of the owner and staff - Gianluca and his colleague couldn't do enough for us, and were very helpful and accommodating.

The only downside was that it was quite noisy into the early hours of most mornings - couldn't tell if the noise was coming from other rooms in the apartment or from other apartments in the building - but not too much of a problem after all the walking!

The location, room, & customer service were absolutely incredible. My GF & I have traveled to Rome before and this was absolutely our favorite place to have stayed. EVERYTHING was wonderful: - Location - Elevator - Room Size - BATHROOM WAS TO DIE FOR - Separate office space - Refrigerator, Espresso Machine, Tea Kettle - Daily cleaning service - Super fast & reliable wifi - Smart TV - Proximity to Train Station On top of it all, Marina was a delight.

Light in bathroom wasn’t enough, beds are making so much noise and the sound isolation was not good, you can hear other guests in their room from yours, especially while you are in the toilet.

Great location!! Away from the main tourist areas. Metro station was a 2 block walk for easy access to everything. Martina was amazing at giving recommendations for food around the hotel and the best places to eat 5/5.

Pietra is stylish, cosy and perfectly clean place. It has everything you need. The location is perfect- just a 50 meter walk from the Lepanto Metro station, a 15 minute walk from the Vatican city and Piazza del Popolo. It has a lot of nice bars and restaurants around, the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Gianluca is the perfect host- he is there to help you with everything you need- very open and positive. Definitely coming back.

Love the interior design they did on the property! Great location, walking distance from the vatican, very safe and walkable to many places. Will definitely come back.

Everything was great, my mother needed more light in the bathroom to apply make up lol but that’s about it.
