The location was perfect. Surrounded by tourist sites below 10 minute walk to pantheon five minute walk to Spanish Steps, about about one minute walk to luxury stores. It is a 1500 building once belong to a certain king(Napoleon II), therefore filled with decorations that are quite ancient. You can see a lot of sculptures, magnificent paintings on the wall, even the ceiling that are painted 500 years ago. Imagine, living inside a palace that you can only see in the movies. We were only here for a night, but the owner provided a hack of amenities including shampoo, body wash, or conditioner, which is quite sweet for us. Also provide cold water is in the refrigerator and a coffee machine for you to use. The space of the room was huge, definitely too big for me and my wife, I suppose this is the life of a wealthy person 200 years ago. The hospitality of the owner was just great , the person welcoming us introduced the whole palace to us, even prepared a fresh flower on the table since this is our honeymoon, it seems like to be a humble and honest person, we really do enjoyed his company.
It will be perfect if the water export system of the showering room could be more smoother. The Water still goes down, but you just have to wait for a minute- which is still acceptable since the room is just too fascinating. Another thing is that we really hope that the owner could provide breakfast, it would be just too wonderful to have the opportunity of sitting inside this plaza and have a lovely breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, I knew I made the right decision to stay here. Maria, her Mother and Nico ( their adorable dog) greeted us and I felt so at home. I have stayed in the finest hotels in Rome (Hassler, Splendid Royal, Excelsior) and wanted something more connected to the history of the city. I cannot say enough about the experience of being in a real family villa from centuries ago! I wax looking for a real Italian experience and not a typical hotel and was extremely satisfied. There is no room service, but who needs it with the Via Condotti and Spanish Steps right outside. I know Rome well, and this was the most special experience. One my Sister, my Niece and I will never forget. Thank you Maria for making our trip so memorable. I will be back and will recommend this to anyone seeking a real family villa experience.
Nothing!

The history is incredible, we loved this experience of living in a real palace for 3 nights! It has enormous ceilings, grand feelings and a cute little room out the back for the kids with their own tv etc, 110 m2 of space which was far more economical than many of the hotels with tiny rooms. The staff were very helpful via WhatsApp during our stay and we loved doing the tour also. You can’t get a better location, so close to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain and great shopping. This is a great unique stay; my daughter keeps asking about when we are going back to our palace.
You need to go through the kids room to get to the bathroom but it wasn’t a problem for us, and then double door at front door and between bedrooms of the suite was a good sound barrier.

The property was of beautiful vintage era whereby the historics of the palace was a key feature to experience authentic Rome. A tour of the palace was provided by Maria which was provided further insight to the property and family owners. Rodel, the Butler, was extremely helpful and valuable to the team. Team members were happy to assist during the 3 night stay.
The master bed was very hard. The layout of the rooms is not ideal. One is required to walk through the second bedroom to access the bathroom (with very noisy flooring with every step. There is nil ensuite. Advertised as having a dryer yet there is nil washer/dryer for clothes with a very large space whereby this may be possible.

This is a great place to feel the atmosphere of royal chic of the past centuries. The Ruspoli residence breathes history, every meter of it is filled with the atmosphere of bohemia, the interior and location on the most fashionable street will not leave anyone indifferent. The rooms are comfortable, there is absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. Polite staff. We even managed to talk to the owner of this castle with Princess Maria Pia. A very nice, intelligent woman. We will definitely come back and will be glad to meet the Ruspoli family in Marrakesh. Hugs, Valentina and Ilyas :)

We got an amazing amount of room for the price. The palace is beautiful and we had lots of room for our family of four. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The location couldn't have been better. While there isn't technically a restaurant in the palace, there are excellent restaurants nearby, including some that are within another part of the palace. I don't think you could find a better location.
We liked everything but this property isn't for everyone. This is closer to an Airbnb than a hotel, so if you are looking for a place with room service or a concierge, this isn't for you. But the other side is that you get to live in a beautiful and historic palace with fabulous antique furniture and 2-3 times the space you would typically get for the price.

This was a really unique space. The stairway into the hotel really was incredible, and the staff was great, and out of the way. The location was unbeatable.
To be clear, we liked everything, so this isn't a negative review. This hotel is a little unique though, so you should be clear what you're getting. If you want a 4 or 5 star hotel with a bar, room service, and someone to take care of all your whims, this just isn't the place, you will not be happy here. If you're just looking for someplace beautiful to be left alone, this place is perfect. I will say that the place was not particularly easy to find the first time.

The location is exceptional! Maria, the hostess was so extremely responsive and helpful! The property is full of history and character! The room is super clean and comfortable! The service is excellent! I had such a wonderful experience there! I’ll definitely go back if I visit Rome again in the future!
Nothing! Everything is just perfect!

This place is a dream. Everything is breathtakingly gorgeous. There was art in our room, within arm’s reach, from the 1600’s. The bathtubs are massive and the beds are very comfortable. This hotel was even better than I could have imagined.
It’s more of an air b&b with no kitchen than a traditional hotel. If you want to stay in and order room service, definitely go somewhere else. However, it’s a once in a lifetime stay.

This property is exceptional. The history and scale of building is immense; it set our minds racing with the wonder of it. The location is also exceptional, it's so close to all the major attractions, and we were able to walk everywhere. The Colosseum and Vatican was c. 30 minutes walk, which is very nice in the warm Rome weather, and lots of other attractions were even closer. Everyone we met at the property was very friendly, kind, and warm.
There was nothing we didn't like. It is perfect for us, and we would definitely stay again.
