Perfect location near the Spanish steps, metro, and main shopping streets, though crowded and touristy. Good value for money for this area. Beautiful antique-style decor in the rooms. Top-floor rooms come with a small private terrace.

If you get one of the top floor rooms with a terrace, you will hear music and chatter from the kitchen during the day, though it wasn't loud enough to bother me. Reception staff didn't speak great English. Tiny elevator (typical for old buildings). Breakfast was just adequate, continental with no hot food.

I had a great stay at Hotel La Lumiere Di Piazza Di Spagna. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the city, and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. The room was very clean, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend the hotel for its excellent service and location.

The only downside was the mattress—it was quite hard. I spoke to the receptionist, who was kind enough to add a mattress topper, but it still remained a bit firm for my liking. Additionally, the breakfast was not very inviting.

The location was perfect for all of our visits to major locations. Rome is a walking city, and La Lumiere was wonderfully positioned in the center of it all. The staff was personable, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful throughout the stay. We felt that they were an additional reason to return to this hotel.

This is a small (approx.10 rooms), antique hotel placed in a historical building (dated back till year 1700.) Hotel is runned by a very friendly team. Location ir center of center. Rooms are quite spacious, the bed and pillows are good quality and comfortable. With windows closed a very good sound isolation, with windows open there is 90% chance you will hear beautiful music performances from the street. Breakfast is good and is served in a sunny and pleasant space. From there you can also reach a terrace with a view over roofs of the Rome.

The location of this hotel is right next to the main street (via Condotti) of the Piazza di Spagna area in Rome and it was so easy to go out for shopping and dining. There are many worldwide first-class boutiques and many casual restaurants nearby.

The items for breakfast were not so many and the same every day, but for the accommodation fee of this hotel, they were easily acceptable. The elevator has a small capacity (for 3 persons only), but it was again acceptable, considering the location of the hotel.

Everything was great: Location is perfect to walk to so many attractions, Fontana De Trevi, Piazza Spagna, The Patheon, Piazza del popolo, etc. The Metro station is about 7 minutes walk. Bring your cc because this is a Shopping neighborhood. The hotel is surrounded by so many restaurants and bars. All the hotel stuff were so professional, friendly and helpful. We are so thankful to Maria who welcomed us with a great smile and a hot cappuccino every morning in the terrace for breakfast.

No complains, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Excellent location, 5min from Piazza di Spagna and within the district you want to be in Rome. Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi was within short walk distance. I cannot underline enough the importance of this. The breakfast was varied. In the hotel room you will have the best espresso machine made coffee you ever had in a hotel room.

The best central location, everything is within walking distance. Right next to the Spanish steps and close to all the attractions. We stayed in a superior room, excellent for a couple. The staff gave excellent service, especially Natalie and Fabio. There is no doubt that we will return to the hotel.

Breakfast very limited selection

The room was exceptionally clean and was cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels provided. Their breakfasts offered a variety of delicious pasties, fresh, hot espressos and various meats and cheeses. I loved their breakfast area overlooking the street and rooftops of homes with beautiful flowering pots. Their beds were comfortable. The location of the hotel was close to so many outdoor restaurants. I really appreciated the quick service when requesting a taxi. Simone, was always readily available to answer any questions we might have regarding shopping, eateries or sights of importance.

The jacuzzi/shower stall was a little hard to get into and out. We, as seniors, had to hold onto the handle. We managed, though.
