I liked everything about it:) The location was amazing, just few steps away from Piazza Navona, multiple shops, coffee places and great restaurants around. You can totally reach any attraction on foot. The room itself was very comfortable, clean and has the best view ever, the roofs of Rome! It has a balcony co you can enjoy your coffee in the sun, actually at any time of the day, since you will have the sun from sunrise till sunset! Also, what's quite rare in Italy, the old building has an elevetor, so you won't loose your breath climbing the 4th floor. The owner Vincenzo is veeerrry helpful! He booked our taxi from and to the airport, and helped me choose and booked the table for the birthday dinner, which was super nice and delicious:) Highly recommended place for a short or even longer stay. We'll be back!

Our entire trip was absolutely wonderful, and a lot of it is thanks to our stay at Terrazze Navona. The room itself was amazing, and the balcony completely blew us away. I was personally incredibly excited about the balcony view, and so prior to our arrival my partner spent quite a bit of time trying to manage my expectations, saying that the photos might not quite match the reality. Oh boy was she wrong! Despite doing quite a bit of sightseeing on our trip, many of our favorite moments from the trip were from this room. It's difficult to beat having freshly made bread from a nearby bakery (Tulipane; highly recommended) for breakfast while sitting on this balcony overlooking Rome. Or laying in bed at night watching the rooftop lights with the rain pounding on the balcony roof. Regarding sightseeing opportunities, the location is perfect. The vatican is a 15mins walk away, the Pantheon only 10mins walk away, etc. The Colloseum is slightly further but there are so many sights on the way that it is definitively worth the walk. There are also a suite of restaurants nearby, with a fantastic risotto (Risotteria Melotti Roma; also highly recommended) place literally at the doorstep of the building. The room also had conveniences such as a mini fridge, coffee machine, etc. And finally, the owner was a pleasure to interact with. He was very generous and accommodating, providing us with recommendations for places to eat and to visit, even going as far as offering us umbrellas when it started raining. All in all, this is most certainly a place we will be going back to. I find it difficult to believe that there exist a better option if you want a weekend away in Rome.

First time in Rome and had read that first timers should stay near the Piazza Navona / Pantheon areas. This place seemed to be right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. My first impression when we walked in was just "wow." Antique furniture, with a one repurposed to hold a small fridge, and another to hold and display the water pot, coffee maker, glasses, cups, sugar and coffee pods. This place had everything thoughtfully laid out, including (finally!) a luggage stand for my heavy suitcase. We opened the drapes to find a small terrace with a wonderful view of three different duomos. The bells were such a delight to me - not obtrusive at all - just lovely. There was a hum from the street below in the evenings (not excessive - I enjoyed it as a part of Italy), bus stops within walking distance and good food all around us. The bus system in Rome is amazing, and we hopped a few buses when our feet got tired. That being said, from our little home away from home we were able to walk to the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and even the Colosseum. What a wonderful stay. I will be back!

Everything was perfect. Not a bad thing, but just an adjustment, was that the shower was pretty small. But then again, my husband and I are both over 6' so there's that. In other words, you might find the shower just right! As a caveat however, you simply cannot go to another country and expect things to be what you might be used to, so really, this place was just perfect.

The location is superb, and the view over the surrounding rooftops is beautiful. The old furniture, and the whole presentation of the room is excellent. Tasteful, simple, deep. The tiny lift was essential -- good to have!

Beyond tea and coffee making facilities there is no provision for anything else, like making toast, cutting up fruit, etc. The shower is tiny -- fair enough, it's a tiny apartment -- but it's badly designed too. No place to sit a bar of soap (and if you drop it, there's no room for anybody fatter than me to bend over to pick it up. Or to pick up a shampoo bottle from the floor, etc) The floor drain isn't big enough to drain a full shower, so the shower tray tends to overflow onto the floor. Slightly annoying, when everything else is so perfectly handled.

Fantastic location! Was so happy in the end staying right near Piazza Navona without knowing much about the area when booking, loads of cute little Italian streets, restaurants and bars. The balcony was appreciated to have a bit of air and outside space. The bed was comfortable and the room was dark and quiet enough at night. Met the owner on the last day and was very friendly.

I don’t mind having towels for 3 days normally but there was not really a dry space to hang them so by the Monday they did not feel fresh at all. Was a bit disappointed that our glasses didn’t get cleaned/replaced which was advise on the welcome card, as again they felt a bit dirty to be drinking from 3 days into the trip. Room couldn’t have been cleaned that well in between stays as on our last day we found a packet under the bed that did not belong to us.

Location is PERFECT, we walked everywhere, the shops, ATM, farmacia, restaurants, bars right outside door or 2 minute walk. Very secure and VERY quiet....awesome tiny balcony, but sufficient for 2. Air conditioner that keeps the room cool. Bed comfy, staff came in every day and made up room, clean towels every 3rd(?). . Wine glasses, coffee cups, hot pot, little refrigerator, coffee, hair dryer.GREAT place that won't break the bank

Not a soap/shampoo holder in shower. I cannot think of ONE other thing that we didn't like. Even the elevator that should be in a movie, I grew to love....

Everything about Terrazze Navona is perfect! The location is very central and within easy walking distance of Piazza Navona, Castel Sant’Angelo, and many major attractions in Rome. The surrounding cobbled streets offer an array of bars, restaurants, quirky shops, and the atmosphere is vibrant and friendly. The accommodation at Terrazze Navona is very well presented with lovely antique furniture and it is spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is nice and hot. Bottled water was provided in the fridge and the coffee machine was restocked with pods daily. This was a very nice touch as we enjoyed a lovely coffee or two while admiring the stunning view from the balcony. Great pre-arrival communications, and very attentive service from the host Vincenzo. Thank you for the restaurant recommendation, we had a fabulous meal. We highly recommend Terrazze Navona and we definitely will look to book again on our next trip to Rome.

The rooms were as pictured, even better! Our host was amazing, we had a little trouble getting in but he was there right away and helped us. The rooms were immaculately clean, beautiful and spacious. Wonderful view with a balcony. we had a coffee /tea maker , a refrigerator which was nice. Someone came and cleaned and re stocked the coffee machine for us. The location was great as we were right near the piazza Navona. Short walk . I was very happy with the host and his staff, I thought the price was reasonable for our stay in Rome. There were plenty of restaurants and bars near by. Fairly close to the sites like the pantheon, alter of the fatherland as well etc . You would not be disappointed if you stayed here . We enjoyed it here and found everything to our liking .

the a/c was not working properly, but we didn't mention it. Mostly because we were cool at night with the balcony door open. I am sure if I would have said something the host would have been there in a moments notice, so I cant complain. It did work , just not 100% , but that wouldn't stop me from recommending this hotel to anyone! It was a wonderful time and we were treated graciously . I couldnt ask for more .

We loved our stay at Terrazze Navona! We had a room without a terrace but enjoyed every second of it. The rustic wooden furniture was such a nice touch and really helped me feel like I had my own little room in Rome. I wasn't sure what to expect from mixed reviews but honestly, this stay really exceeded my expectations. It has everything you may need for a basic hotel stay and for the price and location you cannot beat it. There are incredible restaurants just a stones-throw away. I was here celebrating my partners birthday and the staff noticed the decorations in the room and gifted us a bottle of bubbles to enjoy. If you are a respectful traveler looking for a nice room for a great price in a fantastic location - here is the hotel for you. I would certainly consider staying here again.

We liked the charming nature of the property

The room was very small The elevator was tiny ( and not for the faint hearted ! ) The mattress on one of the beds needed replacing as it was very saggy ! ( signage on the way up the stairs may also have been helpful to help locate the premises ) ( Had we realised we couldn’t store our bags we would have booked elsewhere €22 to store bags at a baggage storage facility for 7 hours )
