The outside of the hotel is understated, it looks like a typical Roman building down the small back roads but do not let this distract from how well the hotel looks inside. Making good use of the original building structure the hotel has been built around its quaint beginnings to make a cute rustic and modern feel. With a elevator to each floor including the spa below getting to your room couldn’t be easier. Air con in the hotel including rooms was a god send as temperatures peaked around 34 degrees during our stay. The hot tub was clean fresh and beautiful even during a mid day pit stop helping to cool off (yes we know that sounds counter intuitive but believe us it works) make good use of the terrace and hot tubs in the evening as the views are picturesque and the sounds of the city set the scene perfectly. The room itself was a perfect size, with a sofa to relax on if a super king size bed wasn’t enough, perfect facilities for a longer stay with a fridge freezer to store drinks and ice for the day ahead. We made good use of the little kitchen to be able to make snacks for the days and evenings. We had a complimentary massage with our booking and we urge you to make use of this (only one person gets a complimentary one) we paid for one more so we could have a couples massage together. First of all the room was beautiful, dark with candles and soft music to relax. The massages are the best way to unwind from a few days pacing the streets, be warned - we thought it was a small back and neck massage, we where pleasantly surprised, it as a full body massage that left us ready to nap! DO NOT SKIP THE MASSAGE! Lastly the staff, they looked after us from day one checking in to the last day checking out, including baggage check in on the last day as our flights were evening. They have endless knowledge and are super friendly so take advantage of this and talk to them! Every single person working at the Navona Palace luxury inn was friendly and helpful.

We only found the Uber (lime scooters) on day 2. Scooter everywhere over a 15 minute walk if your family is able too, my wife was hesitant at first and driving like a local by the end (sorry for anyone who may have encountered her!) they are the best way to see the city quickly and in a more personal way than taxi and more efficiently than walking the longer walks. I wish we had known about the scooters before we came! (Not Navona’s fault just passing along a tip)

The property was excellent; staff were very accommodating and helpful. They provided assistance with booking trips, advice on things to see and do. The property was in an excellent location, very central to all attractions. Although May consider it to be in a noisy area as there was a lot of bar and restaurant noise this was not an issue during our stay and added to its character and ambience. if late night noise is an issue for some it may not be ideal but to be candid Rome city centre is generally a hubbub of activity and noise and this is what adds to its charm. I would highly recommend.

See above re possible noise issues. This was NOT an issue for us but some may find it is.

The hotel is on a cliff looking down at Sorrento (although technically it’s a couple 100 yards outside Sorrento. We were on the 4th floor where there is a patio that you can access from your room. The views were awesome between the mountains and the ocean. Breakfast was very nice and the staff went out of the way to make us comfortable. We were there 2 nights and the barista knew what coffee we liked. Also there was a free shuttle to Sorrento. We walked it too and it was no problem.

Limited parking. We had to park on street on a hill.

We had an excellent room - well two rooms, one a bedroom, the other with a bed settee and small table and chairs. Additionally, we had a roof terrace with jacuzzi. Breakfast was just in the next building along, and at €8.50 was good value. Superb location, 25mins walk to the Vatican, 30 mins to the Colosseum, 5 mins to the Pantheon. Loads of restaurants, all good value. Helpful and friendly staff.

I can't fault the hotel really. It's nothing much to look at from the outside, but it's fine inside. It's perhaps a little pricey, although I didn't do much comparison, and probably for its great location it's about right. The place for breakfast is looking a little tired.

The suite was amazing. It had everything we required. It was beautifully maintained and very clean. Very comfortable beds and a wonderful terrace for our room. The housekeeping staff were friendly and professional. The reception staff were extremely kind and helpful also with useful information. The hotel itself is in an excellent area, with a huge variety of restaurants, gelaterria and shopping nearby. Walking distance to the Piazza Navona, Vatican City, Colosseum, Trevi fountain and many more sights. It is convenient to walk to so many of the landmarks in Rome that a taxi was never required....just as well, as that was the only issue we had when we required one on departure. That, however, is a Rome issue, and nothing to do with the hotel. We will definitely return for our next visit in Rome....I wouldn't dream of booking anywhere else.

Nothing to dislike with the hotel. Street vendors in Rome can be a little much, particularly for families with young children

I love that they have a front desk. Location is amazing: hotel is within walking distance to all the main attractions. Everything is nearby. I love the Navona neighborhood. I would always come back to this location. The unit was large and comfortable. I loved that we had two bathrooms--that was a huge bonus! The unit was very spacious.

The most important problem is that the air conditioning in the living room hardly worked. It was always warm in the living room all the time, even at night. The AC in the bedroom was a bit better, but not by much. Also, there were not enough kitchen items for two adults: only one large plate, no paper towels or dish detergent.

Staff was very friendly & location was excellent. Despite being in a busy/noisy area, the room was very quiet. There were lots of great restaurants within walking distance, some shopping, and easy to walk to tourist attractions (colosseum, Vatican, etc). Piazza Navona is right around the corner from the hotel which is nice to walk to and have dinner at at the end of the day.

Our only complaint was the bed. It wasn't super comfy, it felt more like a futon. It wasn't like we couldn't sleep in it, it just wasn't the best. That being said, we still had a great stay.

My friends who were on their honeymoon were staying at an AirBnB - while they were sleeping someone broke in and stole almost everything: their passports, wallets, and phones amongst the stolen items. I booked this hotel for them to go to for their last remaining nights as they obviously did not feel safe where they were. I called the staff in advance to let them know of the situation & to put my credit card down because my friends did not have one anymore. The staff were exceptional. They welcomed my friends as soon as they arrived, gave them a free room upgrade, along with other things to celebrate their honeymoon. I can’t be more happy with the way they were treated. They went above and beyond!

Cosa è piaciuto · This hotel is a pearl in the very heart of Rome. I tried many similar places in the historical center and Navona Palace is by far the best. All looks in very good shape and perfectly maintained, differently from most places in old Roman buildings I have tried earlier. The rooms are spacious and very well organized, with everything you may need, including easy sockets for electronics, space for suitcases and a large closet to hang clothes. The bathroom looked fresh and recently renovated, and there was a towels heater already on. The room temperature was perfect, we visited end of December and nights are cold in some Roman apartments in this period, but not at Navona Palace. We stayed for New Year's eve and we all slept good, even if our room was located over a very lively street (with a beautiful view). We had help to find our way around, thanks to maps printed by the hotel (google map sometimes is tricky in Rome). We had help also to book the transfer to the airport. Unlimited amount of espresso in the room and the agreement with Bar Del Fico next door makes for a very inexpensive and rich breakfast in a lovely cafe' -rather than in a boring hotel's restaurant. For the quality of the service, the amazing location and the tidiness of the place, the cost is a bargain, you really feel you made a good deal, when comparing with nearby hotels and apartments without the same quality of service. Not to forget the staff: always around at any time of the day and night, smiling, talkative, and super efficient. Could not find one single thing to improve. We will be back!

The location was perfect, very central, close to many bars and restaurants and walking distance to many touristic attractions. The room was clean and tidied up every day. The staff was very kind and helpful.

We stayed in a suite for 4 people and had to use the sofa as a bed and it was not very comfortable especially if you are planning to stay longer. As it’s very close to bars, at nights especially during weekends it’s very noisy.
