Gorgeous area. Really beautiful interesting and great for walking to lots of places! It was clean except for floor which was pretty dirty. Bed comfy. Kitchen very nice. Complimentary tea and some coffee w espresso machine. Small fridge and stove top. Lots lots of activity close by and restaurants and shops out the door. But close to go for quiet walk along river or walk to Vatican and many other sites!

There was an automatic hallway light that came on in hall outside of our door and another strange fluorescent light that would flash inside the door way/ it was so annoying and I called often about fixing it. They were working on it- but the entire week I was there it wasn’t able to be fixed. I was hoping they would maybe make some accommodation for this disturbance because it really ruined my sleep and prevented me from getting to sleep.

Location of this place is simply amazing. Vicolo di Montevecchio is a quiet street right behind Piazza Navona. Yes, 1 block away but still quiet. I found the street through Via dei Coronari, a small path with many -many- caffe, restaurants, shops and convenient stores. The whole vibe is so Rome! In the Piazza San Simeone (1min walk), there is a small cafe-restaurant with a few chairs outside. They close late. Highly recommended. Mike the server, a true Star! Explore the city by bus (stop is 1 block away), or just walk to Pantheon, Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Vatican City, Castel Sant'Angelo and everything in between is around the corner. I got the apartment on the main floor, The place itself doesn't have many windows. It makes it a bit dark but at night, it turns pitch black providing a good sleep. Apartment has all that you need on a small scale like living in your own home. Full equipment kitchen (dining table included), laundry machine, full washroom and bedroom. Clen when you arrive. Bed is comfortable :) Oh.., the girl who checked me in was very friendly and welcoming.

The place is clean when you arrive. No cleaning services after, no fresh towels or sheets, no garbage removal. It seems the deal is more Airbnb than hotel. And I am Ok with that, as long as it is advertised in that way. No actual closet. No safe box for your valuables. Shower is on the small side. Easy fix but maybe costly if they move stuff around with professionals.

I had never stayed in a Sonder location before so I was a little hesitant at first about the idea of everything being done through an app. But it was actually very convenient and smooth, and their support staff on the app responded within a literal minute when I had a question. Check-in was smooth and there was in fact staff on-site to help with any additional questions. The room was clean and quite spacious - perfect location, right in the heart of all the chaos of historic center of Rome, but the building itself was very quiet and peaceful. As a heat wave rolled into Rome, having air conditioning was a plus, and the bed was very comfortable!

The only thing I didn't love was being charged extra to check in just 3 hours early. Obviously in a hotel, if your room is available and ready, they'll simply let you in. But because of the way Sonder manages property, they upcharge you for the convenience of getting in early. I was coming to Rome on a train from a completely different city after my flight had been cancelled in Naples, and I had rebooked my flight last-minute out of Rome, so I was a little frazzled and desperate to get in the room and shower, so I paid the fee. But just something to remember when scheduling your check-in.

I liked that there was staff available on site during the day. They were very helpful and all spoke english. It was a bonus that washer and dryer were available for our use.

Due to the narrow street taxi could not take us to the door. It would help if sonder could give guests directions for taxi to drop off and how to walk the rest of the way (only half a block but we took a wrong turn).

Great location, value for money and spacious room!

The shower was incredibly small - as a 5ft3, slender woman, even I struggled to fit in there comfortably. Besides the shower, this place was incredible, and I would highly recommend it.

Great location, clean, close to restaurants and bars half hour walk to most attractions, great aircon, easy to access room if you arrive late they send you a code on the app to use from your phone to unlock the door. Very firm mattress, woke up in pain but fine if that’s what you prefer. However, sofa bed mattress great! Taxis can’t drop you to the front door as the roads are too narrow, so be warned you may have a 3-5 min walk depending on where your taxi drops you that you have to lug your suitcases over the cobble streets but not a major deal for most. Very small shower cubicle, forget trying to shave your legs in the shower 🤣 there was a shower curtain instead of the glass door in our room which stuck to you as the shower was so small. The terrace was ok for what it was, a bit grubby but overall this was a good place to stay

This was an exceptional stay. Highlights: - Fully stocked lounge with toilet paper, coffee, water, huge lockers to store your luggage (in basement, accessible from lobby), front desk staff (if they weren’t there or late hours there’s a number to WhatsApp and someone responds immediately) - Immaculate room, cozy bed, perfect size, had a full kitchen with fridge (which was a life saver), sink, and area built out to recycle (much appreciated) -The building itself was beautiful - In an AMAZING AREA close to restaurants and shops, everything you could want

The location is perfect. This is an old interesting building - we had an apartment on the first floor. There is a (slow) lift which meant we could easily get our cases up but otherwise we used the stairs which were fine. We had two rooms which were both huge (much bigger than the pictures suggest) and the ceilings were very very high with frescoes around. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked well. The staff were friendly particularly the man who was on when we arrived and left.

The front room (bedroom) was light and airy but the back room (kitchen sitting room) gloomier and we didn't feel like spending much time in it as it looked on the lift shaft! We moved the table into the bedroom and just used the back room for cooking which was fine and we enjoyed sittiing in the frontroom. The bathroom was really not up to the standard we would expect for the price we paid. It's tiny and cramped and the shower was not in a great state. I really think they need to rethink the whole thing. Sonder is its own worst enemy. People don't like being bombarded with emails/Whatsapp messages. It makes the whole thing feel very corporate & hassly.

The location was fantastic. This apartment is very close to the Pantheon. We stayed in the heart of Rome next to many of the main attractions. There were multiple good restaurants within 1 minute walk of our building. Our room was on the 3rd floor. The building is historic construction - very well preserved. We had one main bedroom with a queen size bed. The other bed was a pullout couch in the combined kitchen / living are. The room had nice basic furniture, white walls, nice bathroom - nothing fancy. Everything was very clean and in good condition. All the appliances were new and worked. The kitchen had silverware, cups, plates, dish washer, coffee pot, small refrigerator, small stovetop, and clothes washer/dryer. Initially the heat was set to a very high temperature. The thermostats would not respond. After contacting the staff they were able to lower the temp to a reasonable level. The Staff was great - quick to correct the problem. Property was very clean. Special note: It had a “Candy” washer/dryer inverter unit. Coming from the U.S., I was not familiar with this type of appliance. The same machine washes and dries your clothes. I had to watch a few YouTube videos to figure how to use it. I would definitely book this property again. Fantastic location.

Location was excellent apartment was comfortable and great.

Aircon in kitchen wasn’t working properly so that meant the bedroom aircon was on at 19 degrees which was very cold it seemed every time we adjusted it it didn’t like it so we left it at 19. Musty smell under the kitchen sink. Toilet smelt, cleaned it myself. Also could do with two comfortable chairs to watch TV. But in all it was a great place to stay.
