The view from the room is breathtaking and breakfast was absolutely fantastic, a real delight for the full family. Rooms were tastefully decorated and well maintained. The pool was nice and had sufficient sunbeds to accommodate for all guests. It was just a short walk to the city center of San Gimignano. We used this hotel as our main point for touring Tuscany and this was perfect.

Food for lunch and dinner was terrible. This is not a restaurant (though it looks very much like one with good service up to lunch) so these are only bites but it could make a huge difference if the offered food for lunch and dinner would be scaled up. Price for parking is expensive - we had 2 cars for 7 days - but true that parking places are scarce in the area.

Very nice pool and sunbed area, friendly staff (although quite unexperienced) and good prices in bar.

Cleaning of room came at around 18 which felt very late. Expensive parking.

Our room moderate in size, however, it included a huge patio with chairs and a table that overlooked the countryside of vineyards and olive trees. This view was stunning and I could have stayed on that patio the whole time. The hotel is situated about a five-minute walk from the south port wall of San Gimignano's old town. Even the walk into town is beautiful. The grounds of the hotel include a very nice swimming pool and a large patio area to enjoy breakfast and drinks from the bar. It too looks out at the rolling hills and picturesque villas seen in the distance. Two thumbs up for the friendly staff.

Great location, and fantastic value for money. Hotel staff are so pleasant and helpful. Breakfast and evening meal super. Short walk to San Gimignano. Small nice pool, not heated so watch out, and be warned! Very clean the a/c is welcomed very much so.

Limited parking so reserve if you want, I did not, but a short walk parking available or secure but it’s Tuscany so not a problem at all. A room safe would be nice, refer to prior point. Rooms a little small, we knew that when booking.

The place was amazing. The best place for a calm and relaxing vacation in San Gimignano. Good and big parking spots with friendly staff and clean hotel and pool area. Best breakfast i ever had with fresh juice and coffee. Rooms itself were small but they had a huge balcony with a great view. The rooms were very cold and refreshing with good air from the ventialtion. Bathrooms were also very clean and bright.

The only bad thing about the stay was that a lot of staff did not speak english. But that is a common thing when you are in italy. All of the staff was wery nice and friendly.

Love the area and location, plus the hotel with the pool and nice ambience. Room was great, air-conditioned well, bed was very comfortable and amenities as expected. Highlight was the breakfast, which is one of the few true 4* breakfasts I've had around the world. Freshly baked pastries, great quality food, and even prosecco! I'd come back anytime.

It would be nice to have a room that faced towards the pool instead of the back, but again, I booked a standard double, and it was fully booked, so perhaps that's why I got that room. Also, some of the staff were not fluent in English and the way they expressed in Italian could put someone off and believe they're rude; I guarantee you they're not, they are lovely, but I did feel weird at first interaction.

We loved it all. The room was superb with air con and magical views. Great size and comfy. The pool was very necessary and appreciated. Most staff were great - particularly reception! Reception were super helpful and lovely to chat with. Within easy walking distance to San Gimignano and bus stop back to Florence. Fab.

We pretty much loved it all. We did notice that bar staff wouldn’t take food orders from some holidayers (not us) approx. 8.25pm when food was labelled as being served until 9. Just something to note for future holidayers if you’re hungry around then!

I was 8 days in Santa Chiara and it was one of the best experiences i had with my whole life traveling. Staff is going above and beyond and they made me feel like at home every day. They hellped with organising most amazing vine tastings and cooking classes- must try. Hotel is clean, view beautiful and it is close to all destinations. It is great place to stay in heart of Toscany and meet true charm of its people. I would come back any time

The hotel was great. At first we thought we need to pay for parking but there was a lot of place to park just outside the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast was superb! The room was rather small but the large terrace compensated for the lack of space in the room. Bed comfortable. Everything was very clean and pleasant. The pool was great. Would definitely stay again

Amazing dream like Tuscany Hill views from our balcony view room! Tuscan countryside for miles. Comfortable quiet clean upscale room accessed by elevator. Beautiful Pool. Reservable parking on site and with only a short walk into main square of San Gimignano was the topper to the whole trip making it easy to meander home after a lovely dinner. Staff here was kind, attentive especially the servers at breakfast. Thank you all for making it such a lovely stay.
