This Agriturismo is a super place. The room with mezanine bedroom and a sofabed for the kids was fine for us. Clean and simple. Outside there is a nice garden and a beautiful pool with a stunning view of Tuscan countryside. We spent many hours enjoying the pool and sunbathing areas. Onsite is a large restaurant which hosts nightly events. These took place on three of the five nights we stayed. From an 18th birthday party to a baby's fist birthday. The events can have loud music and take up a good deal of space in the restaurant but the staff make the guests who are staying as welcome and comfortable as possible as they eat alongside the festivities. The menu is good. Food is rustic and tasty. Onsite wine is good. The rooms seem to have good sound-proofing/double glazing and are quiet at all times. There was a fridge in the room which was handy. We had a small table and two chairs outside the room and a place to hang wet clothes. It is run by friendly people who are happy to help. Breakfast was simple. Cereals/ breads/ yogurts and cake. I think a stay here is very good value for money. It is the perfect base to explore from or spend time relaxing in. Be aware that the site is in the countryside down lanes and it is not easy to walk to other restaurants even though there are some quite nearby. You'll need a car/ taxi. The nearby town of San Miniato is worth a visit. In the summer they partly close the streets in the evening and it is a great atmosphere.

There is good parking but it gets busy on the evenings events are being held there. The double bed in our room was hard. It took a few nights to get used to it.

Agriturismo Marrucola is a beautiful lodging near the town of San Miniato. The facilities are well kept and include a pool with a view of the rolling, Tuscan mountains. It is run with love and professionalism. These especially come out in the staff's treatment of clients and the presentation of food. There is, thankfully a restaurant on premises. We arrived on the later side one evening, and the restaurant was a lifesaver. The Agriturismo is in the "country," on somewhat curvy roads, and therefore removed from dining options. The food and wine were delicious. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, too, including delicious coffee, homemade baked goods, and plenty of cheeses, assorted fruit and other items. The rooms are comfortable, modern and inviting. The owner is said to sing opera occasionally, which we did not hear. However, he did sing a little as he worked and was generally very pleasant.

Our room was a "duplex." The bedroom was on a "loft," and the bathroom was downstairs. This matters only to those who must use the restroom during the night.

The hotel is located on a property that seems to be a family home that has been converted into multiple individual rooms. It's very charming, and the property grounds encourage socializing with other hotel guests. They also have a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast in the morning. Dinner was delicious. There is trails nearby that allow you to walk around.

Very hard to find a taxi. You will need to schedule it in advance or ask the hotel to assist you in finding one. The pool was not heated. Unable to walk to the bigger city location from the property.

Picturesque winery on a scenic hill with a pool and a restaurant. Not a far detour for us. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The 5 person room was lovely although one bed seemed to be a rollaway best for a kids. There was even AC! The pool was refreshing and the restaurant was delicious. Wine and oil was good, good prices too!

There was a rowdy group enjoying the pool before dinner. I didn’t mind the noise but they were jumping in the pool recklessly which made it stressful swimming with our kids. This group was not even staying at the hotel. The owner apologized for them but I’m not sure why he allows them to act that way. The evening we stayed there were several events at the restaurants (anniversary parties) but this was totally fine and lovely. Hotel guests were still welcomed in the restaurant to eat and drink wine as we liked. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent hospitality.

A nice vinery and olive oil farm located at the first km of the pilgrim route Via Francigena from San Miniato to Gambassi Terme. If you are looking for a stay in San Miniato and walk this route, I definitely recommend staying at Marrucola - otherwise you may not be happy with the location as it’s 30 minutes walk from a city centre! The hotel stuff are very welcoming and sweet, the farm itself is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The restaurant at Marrucola is actually very nice, they offer homemade oil alongside the dishes.

We were walking the Via Francigena and this was on the route. The dinner and breakfast were very good and the waiter in the morning was very friendly, The filled up our water bags. They produce there own wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar which was very good and good value

Every thing was very good, No complaints The only thing which I think would be better if there was an English news channel but when you are walking the Via Francigena the lack of a news channel could be looked as a positive

Helpful staff who corrected a mistake with our booking.

Had requested a room with no steps, which eventually, after our arrival, was sorted out by the lovely Lucia. We had booked a table for dinner and did not find out until we arrived that the dining g room was closed on that day. However, we found a great restaurant, so all ended well. We hope to return!

Excellent vineyard with plenty of space and nice rooms. We had reserved a bigger room that had two floors and the room was cosy and well-kept, although did not feel very modern. The staff was very friendly and the dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast.

Three of the larger rooms are situated in somewhat of an alleyway behind the building that houses the rooms, so these rooms have no windows except for the glass door, but literally no view outside. If I came back I would want to ensure I got a room that had a view towards the little park.

The swimming pool was lovely after a long journey in the heat. The restaurant was great and had gluten free pasta- delicious and gluten free breakfast options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were simple but comfortable with good air on.

The only thing was the key was a bit tricky to turn in the lock- we could live with that.

The location is in the countryside just a short drive from San Miniato. The host and his secretary were very friendly. The room was large and tidy, and the bed was located in a loft. The view from the yard was great although not the best we saw in Tuscany. The agriturismo offers a nice restaurant for having dinner.

We were unable to try the pool because of the cold weather.
