Gorgeous country views. Comfortable stay. Owners went above and beyond to make our night car travel there comfortable. They stayed on the phone with us until we arrived at our room. Truly amazing service. The views are awesome and just a unique experience.

It’s truly unfortunate that the owners are wonderful and try to make it all excellent, however that can be overshadowed with a staff member. The lady/staff overseeing the breakfast was extremely rude. After traveling all night, due to an inconvenience/road, we went to have breakfast and her tone of voice and abrupt manner made us uncomfortable. Everyone in the dining area watched as she brusquely yelled “no breakfast”.

lovely location in the middle of the countryside, very green and lush. the palace itself was lovely, with large and comfortable rooms full of charme. staff was very kind and friendly and the breakfast very tasty with fresh pastries and cakes.

it’s not really a negative side, just a remark: it’s a bit far from Bologna city centre, like 30 min by car, so it’s not really the best option if you want to go back and forth from the hotel to the city centre multiple times during the day. but for the purpose of our visit it was lovely. as there’s no lift, if you’re travelling with a baby and stroller ask for a lower floor room.

The breakfast was excellent, with diverse choices and plenty to eat. Host was helpful, gracious, responsive, and attentive! The house had fabulous character, and made the stay fun and interesting. There is a large yard outside where kids or pets could play, or where you could have a quiet and private stroll in the evening. Plenty of parking within the compound. Lots of gathering/social space in the rooms we were in. Would readily stay again!

There are a lot of stairs in the house, so may be difficult for those with limited mobility. Located a little off the main road and takes a few minutes to get to (but that is also what makes for great privacy and a unique location), but the road is well marked and the instructions sent to us beforehand were very helpful.

It is a little bit experience over comfort for me. It is a very old building that even smells old, doors that bang and handles that squeak, the mattress was not so comfortable either. Lots of insects, we had three bugs in the room and mosquitoes

Beautiful rustical house, nice wooden details and very clean. Detailed instructions to the property. Breakfast was good and nicely served.

We were not sure where is the breakfast room, just that small detail, but other then that, everything was perfect.

- It was the best place that we have rented in Italy - Surprisingly beautiful place - We had beautifully decorated room with access to veranda - We had a chance to explore territory and other rooms and we spend like almost 2 hours and it was amazing - Everything was clean - We had very good breakfast (eggs, pancakes, coffee, hot sandwiches, yogurts etc) - All the territory was very cozy

Exceptional place, it's a "real" palace! It really exceeded our expectations, the building has been nicely renovated and it's very comfortable and they have kept many historical elements which makes the place really charming. The breakfast was truly amazing. The gardens surrounding the building are lovely. Great value for the price we paid!

We expected to book a breakfast at the desk (we missed it during booking), but this was impossible, it should have been done on beforehand.

Amazing place, very well maintained, super clean, huge room and spaces, very kind staff, rich breakfast, comfortable bed, big bathroom (even a double shower inside!) and great private terrace out of the room

honestly, it was all perfect!
