the most amazing views just as in the photos room with a sea view is idyllic so pretty, lovely gardens. great breakfast and the most amazingly helpful host and staff! great price for this area of ischia! there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. the whole area of Sant Angelo is car free and steep hilly walkways. taxi boat to the beach which is less then a 5 minute walk! would recommend.

The room had the most amazing view. The sea and the mountain plus the little town. The rates were good and the breakfast out on the terrace is amazing. The staff spoke English and she was lovely. A lot of people come back there. We will too

It is a 10-15 minute walk to all the hotels on this side of town (which is also a good thing!) We just didn't realize that it was set up like this. (They do have 8E golf carts and water taxis that can get you there.)

A cosy family run hotel in quiet location and proximity of La Fumarole Beach. Breakfast was great with good selection of sweets and savouries, and always freshly made cake.We had a dinner one night and it was delicious. Rooms on the smallish side but comfortable beds, bathroom was quite narrow and shown signs of ageing. Good size balcony with a nice view, but no privacy, as you could see your neighbours from next door.

The shower cabin didn't have the hook to hang shower head.

Amazing view from the room, lovely staff, and beach 🏖️ just in 2min walk also thermal pool and sauna inside of the hotel available 24h..Full packed place for great holiday. Area S. Angelo just a bit more expensive than the rest of the Island, but so peaceful and beautiful with breathtaking views around. Definitely recommend Villa Franz Hotel.

Might be complicated for walking for people with disabilities, but there's small taxis always available for giving a lift for 4€\persone.

All the Hotel and our room was immaculately clean with beautiful plants everywhere. Thermally heated indoor pool was very relaxing with sauna too. Breakfast had good variety, fresh fruit, cereals, cheese, yogurts, pastries, delicious coffee - eaten outside with gorgeous sea views from the terrace. Room had a large outside terrace overlooking the sea with two sun beds and a table and chairs for two. Hotel had everything you need for a fantastic, relaxing holiday.

The hotel is beautifully located above the beach with great views. All the plants in the garden make it very cosy, and the family running the hotel is just wonderful. They were always ready to help, and the food was exceptional. Hotel is 100 meters from the beach, it has a small pool with thermal water and sauna. The rooms are basic but clean and well maintained.

The beds were on the soft side.

If you want to feel like you are in paradise, this place is for you. It definitely was for us. Carmen in a lovely host, so warm and welcoming. We got a nice sized room with stunning terrace and the best view we could imagine. Breakfast was superb, its continental but including local fresh fruits and homemade cakes or made by Carmen marmalades which was a wonderful touch, also very nice coffee served with breakfast. The place is just exceptional, views are to die for. Tranquility base!

It was a bit of a walk up and downhill. It's just as little as 7 min to the old town, but if someone has mobility issues might not be happy with the steep walk. There is electric taxi you can get at any point but then you need to add this cost, we preferred walking. Bathroom could do with a little bit of refreshment, shower was a little old but still everything was clean and up to all cleaning standards.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Franc. Splendid hospitality! Room overlooking the water, thermal pool on-site, best breakfast. The best part was the warm hospitality!

Nestled in a beautiful spot on the coast with lovely beaches and walk nearby. Very friendly and helpful owners who made time to share advice and help us when needed. Hotel cat was always very lovely. Lovely breakfast with beautiful views. Room was simple but very comfortable and with peaceful balcony.

Shower was a little lacking in power. Mosquitos were plentiful but host provided plug-in repellent which definitely helped.

The location was great, a bit of a hike to get there but the view was amazing and made it totally worth it. Carmen took very good care of us and really cares about the hotel and it's guests. Great place for a quiet relaxing stay with a view for a very good price. The breakfast was included and had a mix of sweet and salty options that were also good.
