We went to this place by train from Naples (1hr30 mins) however, at the end of the trip we decided to go by ferry back to Naples as its a shorter trip (45 mins). The place is positioned in an excellent location close to the train station as well as Marina Grande and Marina Piccola where one can find restuarants by the sea. The place is spotless and they even cared to message us in the morning to ask us our approximate arrival time and we found Graziella waiting to greet us and also offered us to prepare a small packed lunch for our early day trip to Capri the next day which they did. The lady who is responsible for the breakfast preparation is very outgoing and helpful as is Alessio who arranged a taxi pick up to take us to the Marina on the last day to catch the ferry. This place is far enough to have peaceful rest and sleep from the buzzing nightlife further down at the centre :)

There was nothing we could complain about. We were a group of 5 and we all had a positive experience.

Friendly welcome and attentive staff. Breakfast area and breakfast a welcome bonus - each day served by a lovely friendly lady (she also seems to clean all the rooms and public areas spotlessly). Great location with a couple of bars opposite as was the entrance to the old town. A Carrifour mini-supermarket close by just inside the old town.

Entrance hard to find - they could do with better signage. Walls quite thin. You get to hear your neighbours, including them using the bathroom and flushing!

A great place to stay in a convenient location. The garden is beautiful, and we saw excavated ruins in the garage, where we parked our car overnight for a very reasonable price. Our host was helpful in meeting us immediately upon our arrival. Breakfast consisted of delicious croissants, other pastries, and excellent coffee in a cute dining area. The interior design featured bright lemons, which mimicked the many fruit trees in the garden. When in Sorrento, check out this well-manicured BNB. Our stay was very pleasant!

The queen bed was nice and firm but seemed to have a slight ridge in my upper back. Very clean bed though.

Our four night stay here was exceptional. Giardino could not have been more helpful, he was always ready with good recommendations, providing assistance in booking excursions, local restaurants, etc. His communication and attention to his customers was exceptional. The B&B is ideally located, has wonderful garden outside, and it is very clean, well cared for and managed with pride of ownership. I don’t think you will find a better B&B in Sorrento, I would love to return and stay again.

Our host Alessio is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you. The hotel was very clean and neat. The room was cleaned, and the bed was made neatly for us everyday. Breakfast was plentyful every morning. The hotel's proximity to the town center is a big plus. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within 2 to 5 minutes walk. The arhceological site underground (next to the garage ) is indeed impressive as well.

Giardino Archeologico is a gem in an excellent location, and we thoroughly enjoyed out stay. It's located just through the ancient wall arch just above the Corso Italia. When you come up the stairs into the garden, the street noise suddenly drops away and you are surrounded by trees, grass, places to sit...a lovely oasis of calm. The owners, Alexio and Teresa, have put a great deal of thought and effort into getting the details right. The rooms are all newly renovated with lovely tile, furnishings, and paintings of local landscapes; the mattress was exceptionally comfortable and pillows and linens were plentiful and high quality. Even the lighting was well thought out with the ability to turn off all room lights from switches on either side of the bed. The room, including the bathroom, was exceptionally clean and though the room was small the access to personal patio area (for each room) made it seem much larger. Security is excellent with an electronic front gate, high quality locks, and a security panel for the patio doors. Light breakfast is served in garden from 7-10am with juices, fresh pastries, coffee, meat and cheese, and omelets available. I also used the very pleasant garden in the late afternoon for conversation and to catch up on some work. Alexio and Teresa were both very helpful with recommendations, directions, and finding the local pharmacy. (And for those who are curious, the "Archeologico" part comes from the fact that they began digging an underground garage and ran into ancient artifacts. They are hoping to eventually make the archeological dig area - which is beneath the garden - into a museum, but you can visit it if you ask.) During our stay we took the ferry to Capri and also the local SITA bus from the train station to Amalfi. Amazing ride to Amalfi - sit on the right side of the bus going out and the left coming back - and at €3, considerably cheaper than the €140 per person tours that drive the same road.

Not much to say here. The place exceeded our expectations and Alexio and Teresa were exceptionally warm and accommodating. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Great location just outside of the center of Sorrento, only a few minutes' walk from pretty much anywhere and a 15 min walk down to the port. Check in/out was easy, room was beautiful, staff was great, and we had a little private patio where we took our breakfast. We only stayed here one night but if I were to come back to Sorrento I probably would stay here again/for more nights!

N/A - everything was great!

The hotel is centrally located, has few rooms, is decorated with taste in a comfy manner. I got a room for three (although I was alone) and I found it really spacious. Also, rooms have a patio that is really nice in a warm city such as Sorrento. The owners and staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, you don't miss anything, from fresh made omelet to Italian coffee with cakes, bread, juices yogurt, fruits you name it. The garden is great....you don't even feel you are in the main road with traffic at your door. The hotel offers pretty much everything we need for a comfortable stay. There is a supermarket 50 m away so one can grab some snacks. Wi-Fi was great and I also enjoyed the smart tv to check some series.

Nothing. All was great!

The staff was really friendly and accommodating. For example they had no issues keeping our buggage after check out and recommending various places around Sorrento. Room was lovely and spacious. Cleaned daily with towels also changed daily. Location was great with just a short walk to Sorrento's centre. Lovely outside area/garden to relax in the evening and have breakfast in the morning. The breakfast itself was varied with both savoury and sweet options. Really had a great time there and felt at home!

Everything was great!
