I loved the location and the view! beautiful & spacious terraces with sun loungers, umbrellas and even a hot tub all with a stunning view. The cleaning of our room was excellent also

The only thing I can say against the property is the misleading advertising online… even now writing this review I can see the photo of the huge terrace with the pool on it & dining areas however I was kicked out of this terrace by staff of the other property next door as this was apparently only for them and not La Terrazza 38 guests so that’s a bit of false advertising for those who book based off the photos of this incredible space like I did.

What a wonderful experience. The terrace has a beautiful view of the water and Mt. Vesuvius and only minutes from the port and lift. We booked many months in advance and forgot all about the hot tub. It was PERFECT after a long day of travel and getting ready to watch an amazing sunset. Staff was super friendly and helpful with tips about hot spots to visit nearby. Be mindful of the limited reception hours, though. Keep life way for everyone and inform the B&B of your arrival time in advance. It is a small venue and normal hours end at 2.30pm. We arrived a bit later than that, however, and they made every effort to contact us to make sure they were there to greet us when we arrived.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at La Terrazza 38 in Sorrento for four nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. **Location:** La Terrazza 38 is perfectly situated in the heart of Sorrento, offering easy access to all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. The view from the main terrace was breathtaking, with panoramic vistas of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. **Accommodation:** Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the amenities provided met all our needs. Although there was no private terrace, the communal terrace offered stunning views and a great place to relax. **Service:** The service at this bed and breakfast was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They were always available to provide recommendations and help with any queries we had. Their local knowledge was invaluable in helping us make the most of our stay. **Breakfast:** Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent, and enjoying our breakfast on the main terrace with a view of the sea made for a perfect start to our day. **Overall Experience:** Our stay at La Terrazza 38 was truly memorable. The combination of the stunning location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made for a fantastic vacation. We loved the style of the room, the cleanliness of the room, the view of the amalfi coast through the private terrace, the jacuzzi is a must and ofcourse if you have a car they even offer you a parking spot in their own private parking spot. She even provided a video for us to check in when we arrived late, which was amazing! Breakfast was amazing as well, we loved it! Definitely coming back when we live in Sorrento..

I would only say the room was not cool when we had to leave as the air conditioning and electricity needed to be switched off. But apart from that everything was perfect 😍

The location was second to none. I thought by booking a more affordable stay that we would be back from the view. Totally not the case. We were front and centre - 2 doors down from Vittorio, right on cliff face. Spent the early evenings with a sundowner in the Spa, a great relaxer before heading out for dinner. Couldn’t ask for better locale. Housekeeper is very sweet. Place super clean and she couldn’t have been more helpful, even with her limited English and my total lack of Italian. Translator apps works a treat. Now rooms with a view but that does not matter. Terrace and roof top are spectacular.

My husband and I loved our stay at this hotel for our honeymoon. It had a spectacular view of the sea, beaches, and Mount Vesuvius. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the patio and watching the sunsets there. The location was fantastic. It's very close to the lift/stairs to take you to the beaches and close to the core. Also, it was walkable to the ferries and train station. Lots of nice restaurants around. The staff were incredible and very friendly. It was a very easy check-in process with good communication on how to check in. They also provided us with wonderful recommendations for restaurants and places to see nearby. The room was very nice and spacious. We will definitely return to Sorrento and stay here again.

The property is located in the heart of Sorrento. You just need a 10 minute walk from Sorrento train station. The shopping streets and restaurants are just 2 minutes walk from the B&B, which is very convenient! If you are taking ferry to Positano and other places, you can just walk down the slope and stairs and reach the pier in 15 minutes. The location is definitely the best of the best. The room is very decent and clean. The shared facilities are nice, especially the large jacuzzi on the rooftop! Breakfast is good and we got to enjoy coffee every morning. Strongly recommend to everyone who’s traveling to Sorrento.

Fantastic location, really close to the centre of Sorrento but we never heard the buzz of the centre once we were in the room and so close to the port where you can catch the ferry to Capri or Amalfi Coast. Brilliant air conditioning in the room. Staff were really kind. The view from the sun beds was great and the jacuzzi a bonus. It is a great B&B.

Nothing - we had a fabulous week holiday

Staff were lovely! So helpful. Helped with booking a boat tour to Capri which was fab. Room was so big and bathroom lovely. We had so much room compared with other places we stayed on amalfi coast. And tidied so well each day! Other places we stayed did not tidy the room at all, even when staying a few days. So central aswell, location was close to the very centre of Sorrento, could walk everywhere! Great value for money!! Oh and the terrace, the view - stunning! We have a few hours up there and in the jacuzzi after a long morning of touring around. Overall by far our favourite place we stayed during our amalfi coast holiday!

Very very minor, but shower pressure was only strong for about a minute and then went weak. Would not normally be an issue but just with it being soooo hot and swimming, we showered twice a day if not more and with salty hair took a lot longer to wash than it would normally. But this is very minor, overall didn’t bother us.

We LOVED the location, it was perfect! Everything including the train station, the town, restaurants, shops, sightseeing & the harbor was walking distance. The gorgeous coastline view from the terrace was amazing…. we watched the sunset and had breakfast out there too:-). There’s a lovely lady that handles the breakfast and housekeeping on-site who was delightful.

The air conditioner didn’t seem to work. It turned on but there was no discernible airflow or cooling. So, we had to open the window to cool the room which let in mosquitos and noise off the street. Also the bath towels were quite small.
