Salvatore is an amazing host - warm, personable, and makes every effort to ensure all his guests have an enjoyable stay. Location is central to all the main points of interest in town and also peaceful for a good nights rest. Delicious breakfast included cappuccino and a delightful selection of cakes, yogurt, eggs, fresh fruit and meats & cheese etc. Rooms are new, immaculately clean with comfortable beds and pillows, plus our room had a nice view to a lemon tree. Salvatore gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and even helped us book our day trips. We especially appreciated that Salvatore waited for us upon our arrival from the train station and let us know about the annual fireworks display for Ferragosto.

10/10 We would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Sorrento and the cities in the vicinity. We had a lovely stay at Maison Nana. Salvatore, the property owner, was really kind to us. He made sure to be at the property to greet us and then took the time to explain to us how to get to the main points of interest. He even offered tips on how to get to other cities in the area, which was really helpful, as he was born and raised in Sorrento. The room was very clean (cleaned every morning) and the beds were comfortable. The apartment is also very close to the main points of interest in the city (easy walk to the train/bus station and also very close to the port), so I would say the location is exceptional. We had a nice spread for breakfast every morning with great coffee. The breakfast is prepared also by Salvatore and he also makes delicious cakes.

Salvatore was a super gracious host and a pleasure to get to know. Good (and prompt) communication, friendly and helpful with local knowledge. He met us at the train, helped carry my wife’s luggage and took us to Maison Nana, which is a fantastic place to stay. It’s small - only has 3 bedrooms, each with a private bathrooms - so I recommend booking here as soon as you know you’re going to Sorrento. Maison Nana is very new and was completely renovated just over a year ago. The design of our room was so well thought out, tasteful modern decoration and spotless! very comfortable beds! The location is in a residential neighborhood about a 5 minute walk from the train station and 8 minutes to the main town square. So, these rooms are away from the craziness of the many hotels and B&Bs in town and that’s a good thing! Salvatore lays out a great breakfast each morning and isn’t happy until everyone is satisfied (capucchino, pastries, eggs, cereal etc). A great host. He even took me on his scooter to a nearby town to get things for my wife who was having issues with swollen ankles. Amazing hospitality. Thanks, Salvatore. We may not come back to see Capri or Amalfi, but we would definitely make the trip to Sorrento to see you!

Nothing bad I’d even in need of improvement!

This is the best property in which I have ever stayed. Our host, Salvatore, is charming, caring, and dedicated to making sure his guests enjoy their stay. His home cooked breakfast in the morning was excellent. The room was absolutely luxurious and super clean, and the large shower was very much appreciated. The standout though was again, Salvatore. He made our stay in Sorrento a wonderful memory and I would not hesitate to stay there again. Highly, highly recommended!

There was not one negative thing about this property.

Salvatore was a wonderful host. He met us at the train station and came in to cook a very delicious breakfast for us. The room was much nicer than in the pictures, very new and comfortable, fitted out with expensive furniture and an awesome shower. We even had Netflix, a real treat! And a fridge - brilliant! The maison is located in a residential area, and it is a ten minute walk to town, so you need to be aware of this, but it was located close to the train station, which was good for us. Unfortunately we had very loud people in the other two rooms the second night we stayed and the rooms were too close to each other to avoid hearing every laugh, cough and song playing. We mentioned it to Salvatore the next morning, and he said he had asked his other guests when they checked in not to be too loud, but they obviously didn't do as he asked. He couldn't have been nicer, though, and we were very happy with our stay.

The space was very clean, plenty of room and the location was excellent. I was able to walk everywhere. Salvatore is the cherry on top. He is the kindest man who works really hard to make sure everyone has the best experience in Sorrento. He comes every morning to make and serve breakfast. He bakes his own cakes and uses tomatoes from his garden. I could go on and on. I LOVED it here. I didn’t want to leave.

There is absolutely nothing I didn’t like.

Salvatore is a great host with a big smile! He met us at the bus stop and walked with us to the house. He gave us lots of tips on where to eat, and what transportations to use. He is also available on whatsapp for any questions. The location is perfect, not far from the city, just a little walk, also to get up and down from the ferryport/beach, there is a lift, if you dont want to walk. Salvatore makes a realy good breakfast with scrambled eggs, tomato, fruits, breads, yoghurts, juice/coffee and more, this was a realy good start to our day. The room is cleaned everyday by a realy nice woman. AC works great. Nice shower, just remember to close the doors properly so you keep the water innside the shower. I realy recommend this place, and Sorrento is beautiful, and a nice place to stay when visiting Capri, Positano and Amalfi.

Everything was great! We realy liked the place and our warm host. If we have to say something, it's the pillows, not the best for the neck, but that's our opinion.

The location was far enough from the square that it was very quiet but close enough to walk to town in about 5 minutes. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The breakfast prepared by Salvatore was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Housekeeper Juliana was friendly and diligent about her job. Salvatore was the nicest, friendliest innkeeper. His goal was to make sure his guests were happy and he did - 100%.

Nothing

Everything at the place was perfect! Salvatore (the host) is great, very helpful and always at your diaposal! The breakfast was great (fresh genuine Italian products and homemade pastry)! The room was cleaned every day. The place is in a perfect location as you have no more than 10 - 15 minutes of walking to the starting points of all trips. The train station (also bus station) is 2-3 minutes away. The only cons is that the neighbours in the building are noisy (they have a small pretty active child) so you will not be able to relax well in the afternoon. This will probably not be an issue in half a year though or if you are staying in any of the inner rooms of the apartment, since our room was wall to wall with the neighbours. As well as there was no noise at all during the night, it was perfectly and absolutely quiet. Nevertheless I am sure this apartment is one of the top quiet places since it is away from the hassle of the main streets. We did not find a laundry dryer hager in the room. We did not ask Salvatore though, as there might have been one for common use somewhere in the apartment.

Salvatore is a super friendly & welcoming host! He kindly greeted us in person at the station. He was so helpful with tips & any questions we had, and had great recommendations for restaurants/places to visit. Maison Nana is in a perfect location close to station/shops/main town but it is relaxed and quiet. The rooms are very neat, clean and comfortable, & we slept well! Salvatore makes a delicious breakfast with plenty of different foods & drinks that will suit anyone’s tastes, and it was nice to chat with him over breakfast. We would love to come back here to stay anytime & will recommend to anyone to stay here. 10/10 - Grazie Salvatore!
