Had a fabulous stay at this beautiful property. Photos don’t do justice to how lovely it is. The garden is stunning! From the moment we arrived, to be met with a cold drink & a very warm welcome from the lovely family, our stay was perfect. It is located in Sorrento old town & is a peaceful oasis in a walled garden, that is lit up at night. Great pool too, which we thoroughly enjoyed as it was very hot in Italy during our visit in August. Fantastic location. So close to shopping/restaurant streets of old town & easy walk to ferries via lift or ramp/stairs down to Marina Piccolo or walk to Marina Grande in the other direction. The train station is within walking distance too. There is a supermarket minutes walk away. Our suite was beautifully decorated, air conditioned & very comfortable with our own area of garden to enjoy. Delicious breakfast served everyday with homemade pastries. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming & Giuseppe, the son of the family, was so helpful & always available if needed, but never intrusive. He also booked our taxi back to Naples station at the end of our visit. We even left with a gift from Maria, the delightful mother of the family.

Suite Lidia is an Oasis in the middle of Sorrento. Beautiful lush landscaped garden with a pool. The hosts were exceptional and nothing was a problem for them. Absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was also fabulous. I honestly couldnt believe the selection laid out was just for two of us. Giuseppe went out of his way to accommodate gluten-free products for breakfast for my husband. I am truly grateful. Thank you. I have stayed at a number of places in Italy and this ranks in my top 3. Honestly, I didnt expect it to live up to the reviews and images as I tend to take some of them with a pinch of salt. Well it did live up to the reviews AND it exceeded my expectations.

My pillow on the bed but I am positive that if I had mentioned it, the hosts would have produced a selection of pillows. So thats my own fault.

Stayed at Suite Lidia for five nights in May and absolutely loved it. Didn’t want to leave! The accommodation is in a great position, away from all the crowds but close enough to walk to everything. The suite is located in the most beautiful, peaceful gardens. The accommodation was comfortable and spotless. Nothing was too much trouble for Giuseppe and his family. The breakfasts prepared by Giuseppe’s mother were delicious. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay in Sorrento

There was nothing we didn’t like

We loved our stay. The breakfast was home-cooked, including the delicious croissants. The property is not far from Sorrento's centre, and still boasts a lovely garden. It is a perfect balance between being in a convenient area but also a bit away from the crowds. We didn't get to use the pool but imagine it should be nice during summer. The host, Giuseppe, was extremely helpful and kind. He took care of our every need - e.g., of arriving relatively late at night in Sorrento, or leaving our bags for most of the day after checking out. Very easy to communicate with.

Suite Lidia B&B will be the place we stay every time we return to Sorrento! It is a small, family-owned accommodation in the middle of a historic property with lovely gardens and lemon trees. So peaceful and beautiful! The suite was comfortable, well-equipped, spacious and cleaned spotlessly each day. Our breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The pastries, which are homemade by Mamma, were our favorite but there are many other dishes to suit everyone's tastes. The family are gracious and very helpful hosts, making our stay in Sorrento the highlight of our time in Italy.

Everything was perfect!

A fantastic place. Quiet, and in the historical district of Sorrento. Wonderful family owners were always available and helpful. Here’s why you should consider staying there too. When considering an Italian vacation, wouldn’t you prefer not to just “see” Italy, but “experience“ it? Here you “see” a family pulled together to create a hospitable, warm environment. Mom makes a breakfast to die for. Dad is constantly cleaning something. Giuseppe (son) is the primary contact- providing great advice on everything. This family actually “cares” - and it shows in everything they do. These folks earned my respect, not just my business.

This is the most memorable hotel during our honeymoon in Italy. They have beautiful romantic garden&pool, lovely room cleaned up very well. The most impressive thing was the breakfast!!! Mother’s homemade croissant and cake were amazing, and I also liked the table coordination. The owner was also very nice. He told us many things such as good restaurants in Sorrento, the way to get to Positano… and so on. He is very friendly and always kind to help us. I am so sad that we had only one night to stay here. I do recommend this hotel and want to stay again someday:)

Nothing about the hotel!! But it’d be better to get taxi or bus if you have heavy suitcases:)

The location is brilliant as is within a few minutes walk to the centre of Sorrento but feels like a tranquil oasis in a lemon garden. Faultless attention to detail, lovely suite and pool and best of all friendly and hospitable family run boutique hotel where nothing was too much trouble. Giuseppe was a wonderful host and we had a ball at the cooking class they hold most evenings.

The garden was absolutely beautiful - the pictures don’t do it justice. The host Giuseppe was welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. The breakfast spreads were huge and delicious, with homemade croissants and treats every morning + fruit from the garden. Overall the stay was amazing.

it was private, quiet, secure with a lovely large garden. the grounds adorned with lemon grove, oranges. very calming. Bed was comfy, room was nice. Bathroom clean, a bit smaller but loved the towel heating rack. Giuseppe was fantastic, really nice and helpful in any way required. Plus breakfast was the best, fresh made croissants and treats as well as much more.

It was cold there in late February and the tile floor was cold, maybe an area rug would help.
