A family run hotel which was like a little oasis in amongst the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The grounds and rooms were lovely and there was a genuine vibe from all the staff. Breakfast was fresh, locally grown with plenty of options served by the gorgeous Giuseppe and Roberta. A lovely quaint bar under the wisteria run by Alexsandra was a nice personal touch. The rooms were clean, tidy and functional. A 20 minute easy walk from the train/bus station. Would stay here again without question.

The only suggested improvement would be a room safe.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Lucia in Sorrento! From the moment we arrived, Roberta and her family made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. The warmth and hospitality we experienced were second to none. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the amazing breakfast. It was a delightful spread of fresh, local ingredients that truly set the tone for the rest of the day. Thank you, Roberta and family, for making our stay so relaxed and friendly. We can't wait to return to this little gem in Sorrento. Highly recommended!

It would be good to have a full length mirror in the main room.

This is such a special place right in the heart of Sorrento. Every corner you turn is a new joyful surprise — from a beautiful pool to adorable resident animals to amazing city views from a treehouse or the spiral staircase to the rooftop to a hidden trampoline. It is truly such a wonderful secret. The breakfast was also amazing and prepared with care every morning by the staff. We so appreciated every detail of our stay at Casa Lucia and will hope to visit again someday in the future.

It was all fantastic — I will say though that mattresses in Italy tend to be more firm, and this is true here too. We anticipated this though (this was our third time visiting Italy) but it’s probably worth mentioning so that it doesn’t surprise other visitors. We also were a little hot sleeping in the room — it was hot and humid all day and even at night (that’s just southern Italy in late August) and the AC was working hard to keep up. We simply asked the staff for a fan and they provided us with a small one to use and that helped a lot.

Wow!! The property is an oasis. We stayed in the garden room(5 days ground level) and it was like our own little home. The pool is very clean and big with plenty of deck chairs and a toilet close by. The garden is beautifully maintained with lots of decorative features everywhere. Being 1 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, it is close enough to the action and away enough for peace and quiet. The breakfast is also very good with lots of different choices, whether you want bacon and eggs or a typical Italian breakfast of coffee and pastries, there’s something for everyone.

For me, there was nothing l didn’t like about the property. From the moment we walked in and checked in, then shown our room, totally flabbergasted. Plenty of space, lots of hot water, cold fridge, excellent air con.

The whole staff was extremely friendly and accommodating from the beginning until the end of our stay, and even after. They were always ready to help in anything needed as well as accommodate our requests. Giuseppe driving us to the port whenever needed, Roberta helping plan our trips and Francesca making sure we were always comfortable when hanging out during the day and giving us local tips. The villa is comfy and cute, with animals roaming around freely. There is a bar with shaded area and the pool area is great and well served with support facilities. Location is also amazing to be within walking distance to the city center of Sorrento and all the nice restaurants, bars and shops. Takes ~15 minutes to walk to the port via the lift, not the best pathways to carry luggage around, but that's anyway expected in an old town like this Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are needing a refresh, at least in the room where we stayed, the fridge is quite loud, the toilet was also showing some signs of wear and tear and there are no blinds on the windows, so for light sensitive people it might be an issue to sleep properly. Apart from the blinds, nothing really troublesome. It also seemed like there were at times non-guest families hanging out at the pool, which although understandable and totally fine, from our experience they were quite loud which made it a bit less relaxing as we would have wanted.

We had a great trip. The pictures don’t do it justice! our room was amazing, so clean, big and the court yard was fab! the facilities were great and the breakfast was really nice. Staff also made sure there were gluten free options for my partner, which was really appreciated. The location was amazing (central, yet quiet!) and Roberta and Paolo were very friendly, recommending us some great trips and restaurants.

During our stay there were three private parties which went on till midnight at the property. This is something we weren’t prepared for. It is a fantastic location for an event, and nice to see people enjoying the wonderful premises! However, a heads up to the people staying there maybe a day or two in advance would be good. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend to others!

Lovely central location and absolutely amazing and lovely staff. The breakfast was nice and authentic. We didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice and clean. The hotel garden was beautiful and whimsical with rabbits, a friendly duck and tortoises. The rooms were nice with modern features. If it wasn’t for the cleaner issue mentioned below then we would have left a 10/10 rating. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend the hotel as we’re sure the cleaning issue was a one off.

The cleaner did not replenish our toilet rolls or towels for 4 days until we requested it, they took the wet towels but didn’t replace them. Our bin was also not emptied one day when it was filled either. But everything else was amazing.

Casa Lucia is a little gem in the midst of Sorrento. Accessed off a quiet side street, the property is so lovely and well-kept that you need to keep reminding yourself that you are in the heart of Sorrento. The grounds of this small hotel are planted with lemon and pomegranate trees, rabbits and tortoises wander freely, there is a play area for children and an outdoor bar area and the most attractive swimming pool. The staff, particularly the charming Roberta, were without fail some of the nicest people we've ever encountered at a hotel. Breakfast, included with the room rate, was the most delicious and varied we had in Italy. Homemade breads and cakes were offered every morning. Our room was very pleasant with a small balcony having a sea view. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was necessary even during mid-October. The hotel is situated only a mere five minute walk to Corso Italia for access to Sorrento's best shops and restaurants. Yes, you can spend a lot more money in the "big hotels" in Sorrento that are closer to the marinas, but if you prefer a small hotel and want to be treated and appreciated like family, chose Casa Lucia.

Although it worked perfectly well, the shower stall in the bathroom is very small.

Locattion is perfect - few steps way from busy Sorrento old town with all restaurants, shops. This place owns nice gardens with lemon trees, pool. It peacefull and relaxing after busy exploring day. Our room had panoramic sea view and Naples.. Rooms a simple, but nice. Breakfast wasn't the best, but Ok to Italian standarts.

Rooms could be nicer decorated (and especially bathroom) taking in mind how much quests pay for these. Bed, pillows, blanket very uncomfortable (all from Ikea economic ), we would recomend to take care of this and many quests will appreciate for sure. Room cleaning wasn't very good.

From start to finish, my stay at Casa Lucia was perfect. I was shocked at how amazing the property was, gutted that I didn’t get to spend longer there. It seems like it is family run, which adds to the charm. Francesca was lovely, she greeted me on the street when I was struggling to find the property and was so friendly and polite! Roberta was also so lovely. They both recommended places for me to go to and their recommendations were top tier. The whole family made me feel so welcome and special. I’ll never forget how kind they all were to me, especially when I was running late for my bus back to Naples. Casa Lucia is beautiful and the people just made it even better. I’ll definitely be back to stay here. Thank you so much Francesca, Roberta and the rest of the family, I appreciate you all so much.

Nothing - I loved everything!
