The Bellevue Syrene is everything we imagine a five star hotel should be. It starts with the staff meeting us at the entrance and taking care of all the check-in stuff while we relax in a beautiful lobby lounge. As for the facilities and the room, the attached pictures should speak for themselves. Both the indoors dining room, where the lavish daily breakfast is served, and the outdoors lunch area under a wysteria-covered pergola, provide a sweeping view of the bay and Mt Vesuvius The location is excellent: you're a 15 minute walk of the key areas of Sorrento, including Corso Italia. The service staff is very pleasant and helpful. Access to the rest of the Amalfi Coast is easy, with ferry service to Capri, Positano and Amalfi available from the small port located just a few minutes away from the hotel. We will definitely come back here time and time again.

Tiled bathroom floor could be slippery. I fell once but luckily didn't hurt myself.

My wife and I went for a few days trip to Amalfi coast and stayed here for 3 night. The hotel is 5min walk from the center and the old city with good reaurants within 1min walk. The whole experience from the check-in to check out was incredible. The staff was helpful in any way I can imagine. They , per our ask, recommended restaurants and reserved for us. Booked us a driver to Positano and to Napoli. They were very attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices in the buffer us omletes to order. Rooms are beautiful, big with high ceiling, huge mirrors and very clean overlooking the bay. The hotel provides free lounge with food and drinks including soft drinks, wine, prosecco and alcohol in the evening which is super nice. We took benefit of it every evening to relax before dinner. Definitely recommended and when we come to this region will stay again. To the staff, thank you for all your help.

Breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples. Location was A1. In the first line facing the Bay of Naples but within a few minutes flat walk of the shops and restaurants of Sorrento. Marina Grande a ten minute downhill walk. Breakfast room is breathtaking. Waiting staff were charming .

It would be helpful if there was more information in the room about the facilities on offer within the hotel.

Excellent view and location. Plenty of excellent shops and restaurants within walking distance even though it was off season.

There was a building being torn down next door which was a bit noisy but it wasn't a big deal since we were out and about during the daytime.

The staff were super helpful and went out of their way to resolve any issues. George at the arrivals area was most helpful and guided us throughout the stay. Our trip to positano was a breeze because of his guidance. Breakfast was really nice and all the staff were super friendly and attentive. The club longue was a great area to relax and unwind after returning to the hotel. The decor of the hotel was super exclusive and give it a very rich feel.

We arrived to Bellevue Syrene to celebrate our wedding, so we had to choose THE BEST HOTEL IN SORRENTO. And while it is quite pricey, it was worth every penny, and let me tell you why … Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and welcomed into the hotel right at the gate - I didn’t capture the name of the gentleman unfortunately but he was very accommodating and met us with a smile every day! From there BLENDI (the bellman) took care of our luggage and invited us into the lobby, which is the most tasteful and exquisite hotel lobby I’ve ever seen in my life so far (see pics), and I do travel a lot! Right behind the main lobby there is a CLUB LOUNGE, where every day from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. you can get complimentary coffee/tea, snacks, fruit, beer, Prosecco and even Aperol Spritz! FRANCO always did a fabulous job taking care of our party and it was a pleasure to chat with him. As we checked in, VANESSA took us to our room. We had a room with balcony on the top floor, and which is a bit smaller (at least it feels like this) that the ones downstairs, but the balcony was gorgeous and very private. We managed to take great pictures there and had several phenomenal breakfasts with views of Vesuvius. Vanessa saw my disappointment with the room and I explained that we were celebrating a wedding and will be taking Bridal Morning photos in the room. She explained that the hotel was full but VANESSA AND PAULA were able to arrange a gorgeous Astor suite for me to use for a few hours on my wedding day!!! Thank you, ladies, I will forever remember your kindness and care, it truly made my day VERY SPECIAL. We took fantastic pictures! If you can, do book this suite, it is as luxurious as it can be. BREAKFAST is included and is served 6 - 10 a.m., for 10 euros per person you can get it delivered to the room. Thank you GASPARE, MANOUELA, MARINA for taking care of us in the morning. And FRANCESCO was taking care of us at the bar, always with a big warm smile on his face.

The staff was so wonderful and welcoming. We drove so finding our way to the hotel was a little chaotic with our GPS giving us incorrect directions, but as soon as pulled up we were greeted by the staff who swiftly valeted our car and took our luggage so we could enjoy our introduction to the hotel amenities, which are lovely. The beverage service in the lobby is a perfect refresher as you enter and exit the hotel for the day. The staff was overly accommodating in assisting us with reservations at restaurants, for which we’re so grateful because it allowed us to enjoy the beach without having to worry about it ourselves. Our room was fabulous for being the Standard sea view, offering a nice size balcony and very large closet and changing area. It was plenty of space for 2 people. It could even work if you have a small baby. The breakfast was spectacular with a wide selection of items, including a freshly juiced orange juice that’s a fun DIY for kids and adults. The access to a completely private dock area with lounge chairs, umbrellas and bar are fabulous and the staff down there was all so great as well. We enjoyed apperitivo from the restaurant by the pool and you MUST do this — the sunset was STUNNING!! The views are unmatched from everywhere in the hotel — it’s truly breathtaking! If you’re on the fence about booking, it’s definitely worth it. We can’t wait to return again and bring friends to experience Hotel Bellevue Syrene.

Our house maid accidentally pulled my husbands white t-shirt from the rack in the bathroom thinking it was a towel, which is completely understandable given it was hanging inside out and stark white. But the hotel staff moved into action and were able not only locate the t-shirt, but of course delivered it cleaned and ironed the next day before we checked out. We appreciated the attention to the matter that could have easily been shrugged off as a loss. The service recovery exceeded our expectations.

Everything is perfect in Bellevue Syrene. the staff is the most kind I have ever seen. The building is beautiful, very well decorated, clean and inviting to relax. the rooms are comfortable, sparkling clean, plenty of amenities and of course the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean and the Vesuvio. perfect place for couples! The city is pretty and offers many wonderful options to eat and drink, besides the amazing views and beautiful ancient constructions to see. I wish I could stay longer. I definitely recommend!

Every aspect of our experience was wonderful. It’s just a wonderful place.

I was disappointed with the quality of the drinks in the Club Lounge. For example why not Grey Goose vodka? And why not Monkey 47 gin? The vodka and gin were not the best to be had and this, imho, is not consistent with the rest of the Syrene experience.

The view, location, our room, and the staff were all incredible. Especially the staff--so helpful and kind. The "beach" dock was a great place to spend an afternoon. Our room was spectacular (Junior Suite) with insane views. Truly felt luxury. Massages were exceptional.

The "club lounge" was a bit of a letdown-- really nice to have complimentary beer and wine in the afternoon and evening, but the food wasn't great and there wasn't a lot of it. Generally, the food left something to be desired--both the free breakfast and the paid lunch and dinner options. Was okay, but we ate lunch and dinner at the hotel only once. Getting to the beach through the caves was cool, but the beach access could generally be better lit and a bit more maintained. Based on the location of the beach and cliffs, you lose all sun in the mid-afternoon. (All the other beaches to the east kept sun a lot longer).
