Superb Hotel in ideal location for all that Taormina has to offer. We treated ourselves to the Double room with an enormous Terrace which made for enjoyable interludes in the evening gazing over the lovely vista of the sea below and Mnt ETNA Volcano in the distance. Cannot speak too highly of our Host ALEX.... a most welcoming, approachable and informative Gentleman. We had an unfortunate issue with the failure of one of our Suitcases not arriving from Catania Airport. All our efforts were to no avail to retrieve it. Alex going beyond and above the call of Duty intervened on our behalf and was successful in having the luggage delivered. What could have been a Disastrous Holiday outcome was averted by Alex. Once again, Thank You Alex!

As you have to approach Hotel from the main CORSO UMBERTO up some steep steps. A lack of an obvious Hotel SIGNAGE made it somewhat confusing to locate.

I loved my stay at Hotel Le Chevalier! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and I consider myself to be someone with pretty high standards for these things! The location was also truly PERFECT. Right off the main street and just a short walk to all the attractions. Even though the location was central I never had any issues with hearing noise from my room and was able to sleep soundly. On top of all of this, Alex (manager/host), was exceptional- personable, kind, and helpful! He made me feel welcome and comfortable right away by providing me with recommendations, directions, and by responding to all of my questions/texts promptly. I had a lovely time and highly recommend it!

We were a group of 7 in Taormina to celebrate a big birthday. The manager Alessandro helped in every aspect to ensure we had a memorable stay (providing food and site seeing recommendations, booking restaurants for us as it was high season, arranging for taxis, etc). We stayed in a variety of room types, all of which were equipped with essentials including air conditioning, which was needed in the middle of a heat wave! The top floor suite with terrace was airy, spacious, and offered the most beautiful views over the city and sea. We enjoyed aperitivo on the terrace every evening before heading out to dinner. The location suited us perfectly as it was convenient for sightseeing, taking the cable car to the beach, and enjoying the night life. It was a truly enjoyable stay, made even better by the warm hospitality of the hotel management team. Thank you again.

Very clean and modern. Excellent location off Corso Umberto, the Main Street of Taormina, but very quiet. Very walkable and close to all sights as well as lot of restaurants and bars. The beds were very comfortable and linens of high quality. The shower was lovely. We had a balcony with a seaside view. Alex, the proprietor, is very engaging and anxious to please. We would stay there again on any future trip.

No breakfast offered, but this was not a big issue as we were able to get a light breakfast and coffee at a bistro two minutes away.

Hotel is in great location, right in the middle of Taormina, just few stairs from the main strip Corso Umberto and all the restaurants. We had the most beautiful room in this hotel, with the big terrace overlooking Taormina centre, Teatro antico and the sea. That view was beautiful in the morning and magical in the evening. I fell in love to it. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable and good AC. Bathroom was,clean and spacious. There was a small fridge and coffe maker too. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I will be back in Taormina once.

No negatives, we just missed wine glasses.It would be nice to have if you want to enjoy a glass of wine on that beautiful terrace . But I understand wine glasses don't need to be in hotel room.

The location is very central and very close to the main street

As the hotel is located in a street with steps it is not suitable for old persons and persons using a wheelchair

It is centrally located and I loved that the owner is very familiar with the area as he gives his own location recommendations. He was extremely helpful during my stay, easy to reach, and has great hospitality. He is very accommodating and will do what he can to make your stay memorable and enjoyable!

Only downside was no breakfast, but the local spot recommended for breakfast was extremely affordable and nearby. I spent about 4-6 euros on breakfast.

This hotel far exceeds what one would reasonably expect from a 2 star category -- it is impeccable, steps from all the activity on Corso Umberto, and yet private and quiet. Alessandro was a wonderful host, attentive to all our needs, and very quick to communicate. It was a pleasure meeting him, and we heartily recommend Hotel Le Chevalier to anyone lucky enough to be vacationing in Taormina.

Alessandro, the host/manager was very kind, helpful and spoke very good English (which I found is very rare in Sicily...even with people that work with tourist). The location of the hotel was very convenient for me, very close to Via Umberto, the Main Street. The Hotel was very quite (even though is very near to the centre) and very clean. It has an elevator, which is not usual.

The bathroom was very small. If you open the door, could'n get to the toilet directly. It was very clean and modern but very small. The other downside is that to get to the hotel you have to claim street stairs from the Main Street. I had a small carry-on but it would be very difficult if you go with bigger luggage, specially during the Summer heat.

proximity to the centre of town and historical sights. the manager Alex was professional and extremely helpful and friendly. I was also impressed with extras like the bidet and the emergency tag to pull for help in the shower in case of any accidents. and the remote way of entering the property and checking in was a great idea especially if arriving at late hours.

No complaints. all was satisfactory.
