Everything about the hotel was great. Parking is a problem however the hotel offers a valet service via a third party car park which is excellent.

The room we were in was exactly infront of the main entrance so it was quite noisy at times. The lift was not working all the time

It is in a nice location, not far from the big parking. Some steps from the main road with a beautiful yard to have breakfast. Nice touch to upgrade the room and the size of the shower is good. Big balcony as well to enjoy the sun.

The size of the room is limited and hopefully we were upgraded because i can not imagine if it was smaller. The breakfast was just okay, felt a little bit like the products was from the previous day.

I wish there was a kettle in the room, and a chest of draws.

The location was fantastic. Right in the heart of Taormina town. 3 star hotel so not expensive and a bit run down but exactly what we wanted. Regret not getting a taxi from the station. A big walk up hill but you don’t know until you get there Very good breakfast in the garden which was lovely So pleased we chose to stay up in the town and not down at the beach. I loved the pool on the rooftop. Main reason I chose this hotel. Lovely view from up there.

Staff seemed to struggle to keep the breakfast going at times. Had to wait a While to get replenished.

We stayed close to two weeks in this hotel in late August '23 with our small baby. Every member of the staff was really friendly and helpful to us. Whenever we needed something relating to our vacation they were there to help. They also supported our special requirements with a baby. We enjoyed a lot of the breakfast and the room was also very nice (great start for the day!). The location of the hotel is also excellent (right next to main walking street, shops and restaurant) If the hotel is reading this review, hello again and thanks for Rosario and others for proving the great stay there!

Nothing to complain

The hotel is in a good position being just above the main street and near to the bus stops for getting around.and the reception staff very helpful. however thats as good as it gets. We much enjoyed the area, the town the ambience and would happily go back to taormina

The pictures of the hotels facilities and rooms do not reflect the actuality. The rate of what to me was a basic glorified b&b with cold coffee left me thinking id been ripped off, rarely have I posted negative reports and have not done so now without consideration but the final straw was the electrics tripping out a couple of times on the floor our room was on and no reason supplied plus the lift was not always functioning properly.

The location is absolutely fantastic - literally steps away from the main street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful but the cherry on top was eating it in a beautiful garden, just a lovely way to start the day. The roof deck has the most incredible view over the town and out to sea - we were out exploring every day but it would have been a perfect place to chill out with a beer or Aperol in the sun, or watch the sunset.

The bedroom was perfectly adequate and very clean. There wasn’t a whole lot of storage - this wasn’t too much of an issue for us as we travelled light, but at least for our room there wasn’t really the opportunity to ‘unpack’. Likewise, if you’re planning some beach days space for drying bathing suits/ towels was limited - we made use of the shower stall to hang things.

The location was fantastic! We loved how close it was to everything! The staff was also fantastic and so helpful and very nice. We also loved the rooftop deck and pool! It was gorgeous up there! Breathtaking views of Taormina.

The mattress on the bed was not very comfortable. But the worst part was the poor air conditioning unit. If you prefer to sleep in a 68 degree/20 degree room for sleeping.... you're not going to find that at this hotel unfortunately. You could barely feel the cool air coming out and we didn't sleep as well as we would have liked.

The property is located only 300m away from Porta Messina and the UNESCO World Heritage Greek theatre and is in a quiet street just off the main Corso Umberto I. Despite being so centrally situated, you may also drop off your luggage from a back entrance, easily reached by the Circonvalenzione circuit road. The room was very comfortable and well-lit - we had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful.
