Breakfast was always incredible, just like the view from the breakfast terrace, and the location perfect for evening strolls into the town. The closest beach was easily accessible by cable car, and there were shuttle buses available both to AND from excellent bars and restaurants further along the coast. Martina’s priority is the happiness and comfort of her guests, and is always on hand to recommend excellent bars and restaurants. We took Martina’s advice on several occasions and were never disappointed with any of her suggestions.

Location was great - a mere 5-min walk to Tormina city center, yet far enough to be away from the noise. View was gorgeous! 180 deg view of the shore line from the balcony & can view sunset directly there in the morning (and go back to bed for more sleep :-) ) Every morning Martina the host made us very lovely and delicious breakfast. We had juice, freshly baked croissants with a variety of jams, local fresh fruits, cheese with tomato, and eggs cooked according to our preferences. Plus the fresh espresso/cappuccino/tea of our choice! The rooms were air-conditioned, which was really helpful since the temperature was >40 deg C during our stay. Martina also kindly recommended the castle on the mountain top to us. The view turned out to be superb, and we all loved it. We drove cars and Martina allowed us to park in a lot that is down the slope of the house, which was convenient. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and safe! We accidently left a door of our car open overnight, but did not lose anything. From the house to the lovely Isola Bella beach was a 30 min walk down the hill. A cable car is nearby for coming back up (~5 min, 3 Euros each way. Very convenient).

It would be nice if there were a washer that we could use (since we ran out of clean clothes after many days of travelling), but a washer is not really a standard equipment for B&B's so it's fine. A more serious concern is driving a car around. Driving in Tormina could be really tricky, thanks to the windy roads, and the ZTLs (limited-traffic zones). This has nothing to do with Martina's property at all, but rather, a complaint about driving in Italy in general. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't receive fines from the local government!

Amazing accommodation in Taormina, the owner Martina is very communicative and helpful, the rooms are very cozy, every detail has its place. We arrived in the evening and were very kindly welcomed. Upon request owner Martina recommended a very good restaurant for dinner and even arranged a reservation. The breakfast was super with a wonderful view from the terrace and Martina's especially nice smile and short warm conversations about vacation plans. We received several recommendations that helped a lot in planning vacation days, really only the best recommendations.

Great location, walking distance to the city center. Free parking before the building. We were 4 and we got 2 rooms with balcony for 3 days. The view from the balconies and from the terrace onto the see is perfect. Martina is an excellent host, she helps in many ways to find the best activity for the day. The breakfast was every day different and amazing in quantity and in quality as well. The capuccino before and the espresso after the breakfast is a must. We wish to return in autumn.

Everything was more than perfect, but if you are elder with big luggages, consider that the flat is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator (but we could manage the situation).

Everything was perfect.

Martina (the owner - lovely lady!) can make the difference between a good vacation and a perfect one. She was a veritable guide to Taormina and the surroundings. The breakfast was the best I could imagine: cooked in front of my eyes by her, made out only of good quality Italian food. Big like to everything!

Everything related to the accomodation was perfect. I saw some complains in other comments about the location and the fact that you need to make an effort to walk to the city center. It might be true, especially during the day when the sun is shining, but there's no perfect location in Taormina: the old town is on top on the hill, the beaches are down. You can't easily have both!

B&B Martina is beautifully decorated with a view of the coast. It is only 15 mins walk to town centre. It is clean, airy and the air conditioning helps us sleep well at night in this summer heat! The star of the show is Madam Martina who was so warm and friendly! She’s an amazing lady’! After a bad experience being overcharged by the Catania airport taxi, Martina was determined to improve our Sicilian holiday experience by helping us secure the best deal in transportation and tours! She gave us lifts when she can and ensures we have a good breakfast to start our day right. I will definitely be back! 5 stars !!

B&B Martina has no lift access. It is located on the 3rd floor in a block of flats. It’s easy to walk up unless you have mobility issues. If you are renting a car, you will need to check with Martina where to park as the roads are narrow.

Where to start?! We LOVED everything about B&B Martina. Free parking outside was ideal, the walk in to town - a little sweaty in the middle of summer - but easy, the room was huge, air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, a balcony with a fantastic view, an amazing fresh breakfast spread each morning, the list goes on. But of course, the huge benefit to staying here as the other reviews have said is Martina. She simply couldn't have done any more for us; we honestly felt so at home staying here and look forward to returning in the future!

Everything! I think previous reviews have said it all! A spacious room with balcony and fabulous views. A truly fantastic breakfast made by the host Martina. Martina was so friendly and helpful and really made our stay something special.

We got used to the steps and hills but you do need to be able to manage them to get into the town

Martina! A wonderful hostess, treated us like family. Wonderful homemade breakfast, freshly cooked eggs, homemade jams and cake, the best coffee (and tea), all served on a sunny terrace. The sunrise over the sea from our balcony was the ideal start to any day. There is free parking and only 10 mins walk to the Greek theatre and centre of town.

Nothing to dislike. It is on the top floor (hence wonderful views) but quite a few steps to climb!
