We only got to experience the breakfast once during our 3 day stay. First day we were late in from the plane and missed it and 3rd day we had to leave for a plane super early. We missed the directions of how to get in because we didn't have the internet, so that was not fun. Once you get it, you're OK. We would have loved to have stayed longer. We were there to see a musical and it was right near the B&B so that was excellent. You are right on the main street that everyone shops and dines at so that is great. Lovely city.

It's a little strange having people next to you and you don't know them and you might be making noise unknowingly. Otherwise all good. Just make sure you get to the breakfast and be hungry!

I had not read the description closely and had not realized there were more rooms rented out to other people so was a bit taken snack when I found there were 3-4 other rooms being rented out. However, we never saw the other people except at breakfast. We are traveling by bicycle and carried some food However, the fridge was full of owner's food so no space for ours. No big deal, but food not understand how breakfast was created.

The accommodation corresponds to the photos; we felt like coming to visit home from old friends. Access to the room was easy, with a code, sent via WhatsApp. The location was excellent, you immediately feel the pulse of the city. In the street of the accommodation there are many restaurants with a varied offer. Cristian was a very friendly and responsive host who provided us a lot of interesting information about access, parking options and the possibilities to experience Trieste and its surroundings. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

The whole place was really cool. The room and breakfast area looked great. The check-in process was easy (even though the host wasn't there). The bed was super comfy! The breakfast was incredible!! Different stuff was prepared every day and it was all great! The location was good, on a pedestrianised street with a lot of restaurants and bars, but out of town center by about 5 mins walk so it wasn't noisy. In fact, as the balcony faced away from the street you don't hear anything from outside. Christian (the host) was super friendly and really helpful providing advice on what to do and how to get to places.

I could have done with an iron. But that is such a minor point. The place is great!

The breakfast was varied and interesting and carefully prepared. The location feels like it's in the middle of all the key locations while also being on the edge of a normal residential area. The host was very helpful and I could contact by mobile if I needed to.

For me, I'd have preferred the self-check-in information a few days before travel but they know what they're doing and everything worked perfectly.

Super nice atmosphere- really well designed place with a lot of lovely details! Everything is neat and clean. Wonderful staff which is helpful about everything and cooks up excellent breakfast! The location is within a lively pedestrian zone with a LOT of nice cafes (literally in front of door) and shops - everything you need daily is close! Even though its a private small B&B, theres a 24/7 check-in! We definitely found our go-to accommodation for the next trips to Triest!

Location is within a 15 minutes walk to the ocean (but really close to a lot of other thing to explore and see (: ). Triest is a loud city - if you like it silent, be sure to book one of the rooms with a balcony - they are facing the courtyard of the building.

Great location nice modern rustic field to the whole venue. Polite staff in the morning to greet us with breakfast. Christian was very helpful with recommending lots of nice places to go to eat and drink and most importantly the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning also was a godsend

The Lion‘s Den is an extraordinary location in many ways: spacious high quality furnished appartment with a lot of cosy details. Christian gives You a warm welcome and all the informations You need to have a good stay. The location is very well situated so that You can reach all the attractions in a short walk. The bathroom is top modern and well equipped, the sleeping room cosy, quiet and climatised. The breakfast is various and fulfills all Your wishes; excellent coffee by the way. So we can highly recommend this location!! We travel a lot around the world and we can say that the price quality level is unbeatable for a stay in Triest. Thanks Christian for your hospitality. We are looking forward to come back!

Nothing. Just Perfect!

The communication with the host was easy and entirely uncomplicated. We were provided with a lot of recommendations what to do in and around the city. Check-in & out was straight forward, it was no problem to place our luggage earlier. The room is part of a modern equipped apartment located in a lively but quiet pedestrian area in the city center. In the room we found everything needed, despite the fridge could have been a little bit bigger (a regual fridge is accessible in the bnb's kitchen). On top of that, the breakfast was rich and lovingly prepared.

What a lovely B&B very clean excellent facilities room was big bathroom and shower exceptional. Crististiana and his dad perfect host nothing was to much trouble for them. Communicated through WhatsApp 👍👍👍 would highly recommended this establishment
