Nice and spacious room, excellent staff and good location! It was very hot when we there and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The room was very nice, spacious and in very good condition, like new. Comfortable bed. Kitchen was well equipped, there was a washing machine (with tablets provided), ironing board and iron etc. It was also very silent in the room. We had the courtyard facing room on the 5th floor. (basically the cheapest option) The people working on reseption were all super friendly and helpful! The location is great. You are very close to the grand canal, seaside boulevard, main square and all the restaurants, cafés, bars and shops. It is in the newer part of old Trieste( very beautiful architecture. As is the building of the hotel). The oldest part of the town with its winding narrow roads is about 10 - 15 min walk from the hotel. Both parts of the city are amazing but I personally prefer to stay on this part of the town. (there is of course much more to the city of Trieste but these two old parts, divided by the main square, are the most obvious places to stay for tourists) Parking in central Trieste is a challenge and in practice a parking hall is your only option. There is one about 5 min walk away. It costed 50€ for 5 days. One day at the time would have been15€ if I remember correctly. Coffee place opposite served good coffee and had friendly staff. We ate once there and their calamari with polenta was very nice too. We very much enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Talenti 1907 and in Trieste in general.

Absolutely nothing to complain

Perfect hotel to break up our trip interailing. The kitchen had everything you needed plus simple basics such as olive oil, salt + pepper. We used the kitchen the 2 nights we stayed to cook our own meals for a change after 3 weeks travelling. We were able to get wash all our things in the washing machine and had plenty of space for them to dry. A good selection of shows to watch on the TV in the evening and very central. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing seemed like a big deal! We also organised a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room on arrival which it was nice and cold in the fridge

Amazing apartment right in the centre of the city. Expansive Aldi supermarket across the road. Buses to Barcola beach and Muggia nearby on same street - piazza oberdan. Tickets from tabacchi on same street. 10 mins walk from main railway stn. All mod cons and my apartment had an amazing balcony overlooking the main street .... great for people watching😁 Easy check in instructions sent by email if arriving out of check in desk hours Lots of places to eat nearby of all sorts and prices but the facilities are so good its easy to self cater ... hob, oven fridge etc Highly recommended

Nothing It was all just what I wanted away from home

Everything was great, the apartment is modern and new, spacious, comfortable and clean. We were there only one night and did not have chance to use all te amenities in the room, but it is fully equipped for longer stays (fully equipped kitchen with all necessary accessories, refrigerator, washing machine, TV, closets, dining table, good internet connection etc.). The staff is very polite and helpful. For those of you coming by car, there is a place (marked yellow) directly in front of the building where you can leave car for approx. 20-30mins, which is more than enough to carry the baggage in and out (just let the staff at the reception know the car is yours). There will be a road sign that says you cannot turn right to that street where the building is located, but as a guest you are allowed to turn there, don't circle around looking for a place to stop by like we did...:-) For permanent parking you will need to look somewhere else (blue parking lots all around the city paid hourly or garages etc.), but just ask the staff at the reception, they will explain everything to you, and give you the map. Location is great, you are in the center of the city, with all relevant sights a walk away.

Only one minor thing - the ventilation fan in the bathroom was a little bit noisy and can be annoying. It turns on whenever you turn on the main bathroom light and stops working some time after (a minute or so) the light is switched off. You can "override" this by using mirror light instead of main bathroom light...:-)

Installations are of high quality and well maintained, client directory in room is excllent.

That the staff does not allow checked-out clients to use a toilet at the hotel. In this cathegory, this is unacceptable ! Instructions how to enter the closed door into the hotel at the arrival are not easily visible (on side wall and small; not on the main door). Both elevators indside the hotel move at 0.5 m/sec, the slowest I have ever seen !

Perfect place if you need to be in the centre of Trieste and you want to be autonomous in preparing your meals. The bathroom was very spacious and it was easy to move around, which I loved. Very clear and easy instructions to collect my keys, as I reached the place at a time when the staff was not present for the check-in.

I'm a bigger person and, although the shower was large enough to be 100% comfortable, I had to squeeze through the open doors to get in. The fan in the bathroom, which turned on together with the light, was so powerful as to create a draught which made me feel slightly cold when taking showers, but honestly, all in all, the place was great, clean and my stay was as comfortable as I wanted it to be.

I returned on my way back from Rovinj, Croatia for just one night on my way back to the UK by train. The welcome at reception was as friendly as on my outward trip 2 weeks ago. Friendly, accommodating and helpful My apartment was smaller but just as well equipped .... cheaper ofcourse. The location of an Aldi and Conad supermarket very close makes self catering easy but there are a wealth of different types of bars, bistros and restaurants a macelleria and bakery nearby. 12 mins walk from the bus/train stn Highly recommended but save a place for me

Very centrally located, close to the train station, port and city centre, yet not noisy. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with all amenities, including, if necessary on one's trip, a washing machine. The building is an old building which is renovated to modern and today's standards. The reviews and photos you find on Booking.com about this property are true to fact.

The staff were so helpful and even provided crutches for my wife with no notice. They were very helpful with parking which made it easy. Parking outside is fine and gives 20 mins to get sorted before moving. We came at weekend and if you park in a blue spaces, parking is free from 8pm on Friday until 8am on Monday. We managed to find one! There are numerous apartments however staff treated us as though we were the only guests.

a few more bowls ( we only had 2 but, to be fair, we didn't ask for more) Im sure they would have given them to us.

It was a very nice facility and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The person there at checkout was very good in getting us a taxi even though they were in short supply that morning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was an elevator which made going up and down very easy. The location was close to several good restaurants and was within walking distance from the train station.

There was a clothes washer but no clothes dryer.
