The room was clean, warm and smelled nice, the bed was big and comfortable. The building in which the hotel is located has that old Italian charm, but also modern ammenities (for example, elevator). The area is safe and well-connected to the rest of the city, you have trams and buses right in front of the hotel. The breakfast included mostly pastries and sweets, but also cereal, yoghurt, some cold cuts and cheese, fruit, as well as coffee/cappuccino. The staff is nice and welcoming, they provided all the necessary info via WhatsApp for self-check in before arrival (I arrived late and the reception was already closed).

Everything was ok, good value for money. Maybe the furniture in the room could use a revamp, it seemed a bit old.

We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but it wasn’t a problem. The very kind gentleman at the reception allowed us to check in, and even though it was past breakfast time, he served us each with a hot drink. The room is small but equipped with everything you need (hairdryer, air conditioner with two modes—winter and summer, etc.). It’s not the newest, but due to daily cleaning, the room and furniture still look good. Breakfast is a buffet with hot drinks, juices, water, various bakery sweets, salami and cheese, fruit, and yogurt. The location is excellent; to reach the station, you just have to cross the street.

The rooms lack good soundproofing, allowing sounds from other rooms to be heard. Despite this, the night was quiet, and I experienced no issues with noise. Additionally, the shower is small. While it wasn’t a problem for us, stockier individuals may encounter difficulties when showering.

Breakfast, the room and the bathroom Stefano was great! very welcoming and was always willing to help.

The fact that they had no English tv channels Maybe had another breakfast option, eating the same thing for 5 days can become boring. The other people at receptions were not friendly at all. Didn't greet or even acknowledge me when I was around. It might be the culture, but it takes nothing to greet someone.

- I'm always a bit annoyed when hotels advertise that they want to do something for the environment and say they won't change your towels if you don't put them on the floor. I don't need my towels to be changed every day, so I hang them... and they still get changed every single day. This is very annoying but it's by far not the only hotel who's doing this. - the use of plastic cups for the juice and the water at breakfast is a bit of a shame. Glasses would be nicer and more eco-friendly... - the breakfast is not amazing (not very healthy), but it's included so... let's not complain about that

Everything was ok. The hotel is relatively close to politecnico university. Just in front of the hotel there are a terminal station of some tramway lines. In the street behind the hotel (monginevro street I think) you can find a supermarket and some restaurants.

When I opened the window to let the air enter, you could see a building and so some people could potentially see you ^^ but no problem at all, I just opened the window and closed the curtain. Everything was good in my experience 👍🏼

We wanted a location in a quaiet zone but not too far from the city center, and that is what we found. We had wi-fi and the breakfast was fullfiling. We actualy liked the elevatror shaft because it brought back memories from our college life in Boston, where we stayed in similar bulding. Overall we enjoyed our staying and our vacation.

We didn't see a parking lot, but since we decided to use public transportation we didn't needed one. They only serve breakfast but they can also prepare you coffee or other warm beverage.

It was a nice stay. Breakfast is good and rooms are clean. However, those who value silence, you might have trouble there - the tram stop is right under the windows and it starts working around 6a.m in the morning. Walls are quite thin also. The location was ok, it's obviously not close to center, but public transportation is at hand. Also, good pizza places around. They have very helpful staff. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Very hospitable staff. Location between airport and center, with good transport possibilities. District is very safety and quite. Room is ok, not big, but enough for 2 people. Breakfast is good, ham, cheese, croissants, fruits, good coffee.

Shower cabin is very small, 60*60cm. I'm slim and haven't problems, but for some people it can be problem. Low WIFE signal on 4th floor, on reception is very good signal. Anyway, I recommend this hotel absolutely

Breakfast was adequate, albeit sugar laden. The hotel is perfectly fine for a few days stay and is good value. There is a regular bus service to the city centre, taking around fifteen minutes. Parking is on the nearby streets where it is free. I luckily found a nearby spot, but imagine at times it could be difficult to find. The immediate area appears very busy and residential but in the surrounding streets there are eating places including a FANTASTIC ICE CREAM SHOP, and on turning left on leaving the hotel, then second on the left will lead to an excellent family run Trattoria.....the hotel will know the name as it is well known. Hotel staff were helpful.

The shower. It was the smallest I have ever seen, and akward to get in and out of. I have never seen such a small shower.....and I am not tall.

Old charm meets modern amenities! I had a fabulous week long stay and I enjoyed every moment of it! Just a tram ride away from the old town, Hotel Universo is located in the proximity of the Politecnico di Torino and everything is geared around students in the area. This has the advantage that you can find everything you desire and at a bargain price! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are extremely clean and tidy, and breakfast was included. I would happily stay there again!
