The location is perfect for what we wanted which was close proximity to Port Susa railway station. A 5 minute walk takes you from one to the other. Rooms are spacious and provide self-catering facilities should you require them. Reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the city. We took up several recommendations of theirs for eating and drinking and they were all excellent. There are two superb restaurants five minutes walk away. We've stayed here four times now and will return in the future.

Nothing. It fits the bill for everything we need for a short stay when travelling by train.

the location is perfect, near the station of Porta Susa. we walked everywhere, and there's also nearby metro and tram station. the price is great, the facility is complete, the room is huge, comfortable, and really clean. i feel safe stay in Star Residence. there's a supermarket just a 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. and a lot of bars and great restaurants!

The location was close to the train station, and the surrounding area was OK. Not the best but it was clean and safe. The room and building was very good, clean, quiet and everything was there. The staff was helpful, and always greeted us when entering and leaving the building. The location was the best, close to the train station plus other tourist areas were within walking distance.

The kitchenette was old and inefficient. Needed an upgrade. Also no kettle!!!

Excellent location, near Susa station, with around a 15 minute walk into the central area of Turin. The welcome and assistance from the reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. There is secure car parking available at €18/day which is a bonus. We definitely recommend this accommodation

This was a return visit for us. The location is excellent if you have an early train to catch from Porta Susa, and the room is spacious and comfortable. There are good restaurants within a few minutes walk.

The location is quiet, but there was a loud humming noise at night, possibly a generator. The WiFi is a bit fragile, and tends to drop out, but at least it is there!

Very friendly staff. Clean, smart apartment. The hob and microwave and other kitchen facilities enabled simple preparation of food (although a spatula would have made using the frying pan easier). Quiet at night. Would recommend for its good service, close proximity to the station and great decor.

Don't think towels should be changed every day.

Comfortable and clean. Had most all modern conveniences needed. Bathroom was large and modern. We loved the bathroom. All had a great nights sleep. Free coffee available was a lovely touch.

Would have liked a kettle but that’s a very English thing and a very small issue.

Fabulous, place, next to station, but on a quiet square, convenient shops and cafes on the next street. I was really impressed, and certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to be near Porta Susa. A massive thank you to every member of staff there. Truly excellent.
