Location was excellent as just steps away from San Marco Square. Also, interesting to watch the gondoliers (from my window) prepare their boats each morning. My room was across the canal from Hard Rock Cafe, but because it was January, it was very quiet with no discernible music or noise. Also, enjoyed the flower box right outside my room window.

Breakfast was overall good, but absolutely avoid(!) either the scrambled eggs or the hard-boiled eggs (I know -- it's difficult to mess up a hard-boiled egg). They were both gummy and tasteless. My room was very warm--and as unable to regulate the heat--resorted to opening one of the windows (although it was January). Traveling with a friend and she also commented that her room was too warm and also opened a window.

Our room was excellent. We prefer twin beds but we were given a room that was 2 rooms with 2 very separate beds. Hurrah. Breakfast was good with a selection of foods. Parking facilities were very good and included in the price. We thought the hotel was good value. It is a short walk into the historic centre. Would stay again.

The only thing we didn't like was the exceptionally rude, unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist who was on duty when we arrived (11.30 on 18.4.23). We were early and did not expect to be able to check in but wanted to leave our car. She was abrupt and rude. When we asked for directions to the historic centre she just gestured with her thumb. Didn't offer us a map (which we were given later by a much nicer lady who checked us in). This person is spoiling peoples impression of your hotel. She is an older lady with blond/grey hair and glasses.

Everything about this hotel was amazing, I can only recommend! It was really close to the historical center of the city (like 5 min walk), one street away was a big beautiful park which was very convenient as we have a dog. Rooms were tidy, comfortable and modern with big flat screen TV. The staff was very helpful, breakfast was tasty. All in all - perfect.

Our rooms were facing the main street, so in the morning traffic with the windows open it was getting a bit loud, but they were very soundproofed, so once closed, everything went silent.

I work in tourism and i have visited hundreds of italian hotels untill now. Until now Hotel Friuli is definately the best 3 stars hotel in Italy regarding rooms. O.k. they can still make slughtly better breakfast.

I like everythig. Even breakfast was far better than in other 3 * and. even a lot of 4* hotel in Italy.. it was of good quality... but they can still make it richer ( vegatable, olives, warm sausages, eggs...).. regarding the fact that all other services are really more than 3* level.

The hotel is located just 5/10 minutes away from centre of Udine. We had a triple room, which was in fact like a suit of 2 bedroms, hallway and bathroom. Spacious acommodation, very large and comfortable bed. Everything clean: lovely linen in bed, and good selection of towels in bathroom. Good internet connection. And also plentiful breakfast.

I didnt like the mosquitoes that came in our room, but that is not the hotel's fault. We left the windows open to air.

everything was in accordance with the description on Booking, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom too, all the equipment in the room was functional, the breakfast was excellent, the parking lot was comfortable and secured. the staff is friendly and at the service of the guest, the location of the hotel is very good within walking distance from the center

The room was very modern and cleanliness is obviously a high priority here. The location was great, being very close to the old centre of Udine. Also it was nice to have a breakfast, although no hot foods, with coffee served by nice, friendly staff.

It would have been nice to have some hot foods available at breakfast. The bathroom was very small, for a larger double room.

Free parking, good location - 15 minutes walking from The Castle

Hotel needs to be renovated, especially bathroom. Walls should have better sound-isolation, bcs you can hear sounds from other rooms. AC was not working and it was producing a very loud scratchy sound, so I had to turn it off

The location is great for exploring the old city.

The WiFi was practically non existent. Given the fact that Italian mobile network is iffy at best ( so no great coverage either) it's pretty disastrous. I don't understand why is it difficult to place a couple of good routers to be able to connect.

Good location and easy access. Good quality of breakfast items.

Plastic cups instead of glasses, no information about WiFi access in the room. It is worth adding more choices of dishes at breakfast.
