This was one of the rare occasions where the photo on the website matched the room identically!! such a beautifully designed room.. which resulted in a very peaceful stay. My room had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the river. Maria Teresa was one of the most helpful hoteliers I have come across. She gave me such personalized attention and care during my stay. She sent me information on activities going on the weekend I was in Verona, helped me w a problem I ran into while taking a day trip to Venice - she really went above and beyond! On the map, Hotel Brennero looks like it’s outside of Verona - this isn’t true. it’s within city limits.. you can take a bus right out side the hotel that leaves every 20-30 minutes and be in the middle of the old city in 10-15 minutes. very convenient! Hotel Brennero was for me, a very pleasant surprise! As was Verona - what a gorgeous city.. I would love to be back to both. Highly recommend it!

The staff were so knowledgeable of the area and helped with recommendations. It was so lovely staying in a family owned hotel as you had that personal touch, it felt as though they really cared and that’s what made the trip even better.

Honestly can’t think of anything

My room was spotless with plenty of space (including balcony overlooking the river) and the bed was very comfortable. Mary is the perfect hostess, willing to help with everything and anything. The food is homemade and delicious and the servings are extremely generous with an impressive array of options at the breakfast buffet!

Quintessential efficient small-town hotel with dining options around, but just 20 minutes by bus from Verona city centre and a bus stop next door. Comfortable room had a balcony view of the swollen river Adige just across the street. Excellent and prettily arranged breakfast buffet was a cross between the typically Italian and heartily Central European. Underground garage helped out, but otherwise there were spots along the riverfront before the hotel.

Nothing that would really matter, but the shower is a bit tiny even for my slight build and you need to check the bus time table carefully. The bus service itself is very well organised, though, and Verona stands out as the only city in my Italian experience where you can use an app to buy an actual ticket (Turin has a contactless on-board solution).

Hotel Brennero is a wonderful gem about 15 minutes (by car) from the Porta Nuova train station and about 8-10 minutes by bus or taxi from the city center. Maria Teresa is the manager and part owner of a fine family establishment. She speaks multiple languages and thankfully for our familiy, she speaks great English and Spanish. She is incredibly helpful, and provided us with tips for obtaining a Verona card (for the bus and entrances to different museums and landmarks), and she also recommended lovely restaurants. The room was extremely clean, well decorated, and had a beautiful view. The room was air conditioned, and during this heat wave—it was perfect! So much so it got too cold for us in the room. The outside shutters were perfect to block out the bright morning sun. The hotel also provided free access to wifi. The breakfast was really amazing and delicious. They serve a great spread of options from coffee and juices, yogurts, gluten-free options, eggs, waffles, and sandwiches. Wow! My family and I plan to return to this hotel the next time we are in Verona.

Great, flexible and friendly service and reception reachable via WhatsApp. The room was clean and had an excellent air conditioning, not to mention that there was also a fridge in the room. Nice breakfast with a changing buffet. The hotel is located in a beautiful place next to a river.

So, Hotel Brennero in Verona. You will notice, that Hotel Brennero is in Parona. So it's a 15min drive to Verona. Car or other means of transportation is strictly necessary. Cabs usually don't venture that far out from Verona, so your own car would be preferable, The hotel is 3 stories with 5 rooms each. There is an elevator to get you to your floor. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Even offered a bottle of sparkling wine to our friend whose b-day is was on your stay. Rooms are up-to-date. TV features Netflix, so one can blissfully escape the italian versions of Transporter or else ;-) Parking is plenty right on the road in front of the hotel. Every Saturday there's a flea market right across the street. So, if you're in need of a new wooden lamp for the living room or such..... Walking the dog is easy, as the river Etsch is right next door with plenty of green and such to walk. All in all, I can really recommend this hotel to everyone!! Your next food stop: Ristorante Pizzeria al Ritrovo in Negrar! Simply the best for Pizza and Bistecca Fiorentino (0-km) Best vineyard: Azienda Vinicola Farina in San Pietro in Cariano Best olive oil: Redoro Srl Frantoi Veneti in Grezzana. Forget satnav and ask for directions in Grezzana....

Such a cute little hotel! The rooms are so uniquely decorated and the owner makes sure the place feels very homely, yet distinguished. There are many small details that make this a nice experience. The breakfast for example is a real feast for the eyes - one could spend a lot of time trying out the different types of homemade sandwiches and pastry. The place feels quiet, but it's right on the outskirts of Verona, which is easily reachable. There are plenty of parking spots on the street. It was a nice last stop on our road trip.

There's not that many places to eat in the near vicinity.

The hotel owner was super service minded and helped with local recommendations. The breakfast was delicious and home made and room very clean and appealing. I can definitely recommend a stay at this hotel
