Vieste is magical as is Dimora Cumma Mari! Stefano and Valentina are the best hosts and made me feel so welcome and looked after me so well my entire stay. From the messages before I arrived to helping navigate small streets, driving and parking my car and helping lift my heavy luggage into my room they went above and beyond! I stayed 2 nights and wished I'd booked double the length of time. Also they offered excellent advice on restaurants, activities and catered exceptionally well for my gluten free requirements for breakfast. I highly recommend you stay here if you are visiting Vieste, I didn't want to leave this place and now that I am in Polignano a Mare, would rate Vieste over that anyday.

We loved everything about it. It is such a special place. Our room/apartment was so spacious and comfortable. I love how they have combined a sort of hotel experience and a BNB. They do it to perfection. You can tell they put their heart into this place. There are only six rooms. I got to see most of them and they are all spacious and wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was large with great water pressure. We had an amazing view with a balcony. Each room that I saw had its own outdoor space. There is also a rooftop terrace and a garden with a hammock. The location was perfect. So convenient to everything. Just a short walk to Pizzomunno beach. Breakfast was amazing. So many homemade treats, pastries, cookies, jams. There were also some savory options. Fresh squeezed orange juice, if you wanted it and delicious coffee. We loved it all. We were so sad to leave. The best part is the warmness of Stefano and Valentina. They made us feel so at home and comfortable. They helped us whenever we needed anything. We loved our breakfast time chats with them. They are my favorite hosts and this was my favorite place that we stayed in on our month long trip to Puglia.
Nothing. It was perfect!

Located in the very heart of the city center, this boutique hotel is a perfect mix of traditional architecture and the most classy and sexy contemporary interior design. Okay, the room was spacious and comfy and gorgeous, but that's not the point: THE POINT are the super chic roof terrace AND the back garden, both simply ideal for enjoying the evening with a bottle of wine (did I mention this place has its own wine cellar/cave?! Gosh!!!). We spent two nights in Vieste and didn't even go out one night because this place was so utterly delightful. The breakfast was also delicious; everything is home-made and yummy! We decided to eat a bit later one morning, so Stefano and Valentina, the young couple who is running the place, packed us a breakfast lunch-box, and then we had a picnic on the beach. Also, parking is always tricky in old city centers, but S&V found an easy, elegant, safe (and free!) solution – and after three weeks of traveling around Italy I can assure: that is RARE and saves a bunch of stress, hassle and money. Congratulazioni, ragazzi!
My ONLY suggestion would be: invest in some better sound-proof windows facing the inner courtyard. Because of the way the house is built, the sound carries strongly, so the minute the breakfast starts you get woken up. I imagine this is not a problem for early risers, but I'm not one, so that was not ideal.

I normally don’t write reviews, but in this case will make an exception. The property is run by an extraordinarily thoughtful couple. To provide context, they provided even more attention and consideration than we received at the St.Regis in Venice. That said, at the dimora it feels like you are being hosted rather than managed. They do an excellent job considering the little things. For instance, the hotel provides parking on premise. Given the parking situation in the town, I cannot stress how invaluable this would be high season. The hotel is also filled with charming fabrics, sculptures and ceramics from the area. Breakfast is similarly filled with wonderful local products. I didn’t try the wine, but given their excellent taste I’m sure it is wonderful. I did have a massage. The massage was excellent. I cannot recommend it more strongly.

Stephano and Valentina were such gracious hosts! They were waiting for us upon arrival, and helped park the car in their lot which was a godsend! The property is fabulous, and the rooms we stayed in were very spacious, with lots of light and outside spaces to have coffee. The bathrooms were very large with great water pressure in the showers, the beds very comfortable, and everything was immaculate! The breakfast was plentiful and included freshly cooked eggs in a frittata style. Vieste is a beautiful town and Stephano and Valentina gave us fabulous dinner recommendations! If I find myself back in Vieste, I will certainly stay here.

Best place! A little pearl in the center of Vieste with the perfect location right next to the beautiful old town. Modern, clean, boutique style. The sweet owners are helpful with everything. One of the best places that we have stayed ever. It has it all just by simple good taste. A super bonus for wine lovers is that you can get orange wine in the rooms. Nice big beds- the place could supplement with a blanket to the sheets as we from the cold north are used to sleeping with a little more than a sheet :-)
We liked everything

We enjoyed the warm welcome of the hosts who are extremely passionate about their beautiful boutique accommodation. We received great restaurant recommendations and there was a selection of wines in our room available to purchase at reasonable prices. The room was super spacious, very modern and it had great views over the marina. The location of the accommodation is excellent, right next to the entrance of the old town. The hosts prepared an excellent breakfast in the morning which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Everything was excellent!!

It was elegant and tasteful with so many details to delight the eye. Thoughtful touches everywhere - lovely large rooms, beautiful roof deck and breakfast area. Breakfast was wonderful: fresh fruits, homemade plum cake, croissants, biscuits, salumeria, cheeses. Completely convenient to the historic center and delightfully hosted by Stefano and Valentina! We have traveled widely and this was one of the most exceptional places we’ve ever stayed.
Nothing - everything was perfect.

Stefano and Valentina were wonderful host/hostess. And they serve the beat breakfast. The taranlli were yummy, the fresh marmalade was super. Infact everything at breakfast were good. Location is great, just 100m or less from the old town gate. Walking distance to the port area to catch a boat to the sea caves. Free private parking was a blessing.à
Nothing we can recall.,

This was my favorite hotel on our driving trip in the south of Italy. Loved the property, very comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. We booked the suite, so we had a kitchen, but didn't really utilize that, but it was nice to have the little refrigerator. We loved walking around the town and enjoyed. The hosts Stephano and Valentina were wonderful. We had the best breakfasts in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again!
