The room was large with a view on the entrance are to the hotel. The rooms are sound proof and the silence was absolute. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good as well.

Breakfast could have had more better fresh fruit selection. In the room slippers would have been welcome. At least one small bottle of water could have been free of charge.

Nice plush hotel , spacious areas around the reception and bar . Excellent breakfasts. Comfy nice big beds. The hotel caters for mainly business / conferences so you felt as if you had the hotel ti yourself as only saw them when taking their coffee breaks and lunch . The pool was opened for our second day which was great ( especially as paper work said closed from 1st sept )

No tea coffee facilities in the room. Expensive taxi journeys into the centre ranging from 12 to 18 euros one way. Would have been nice to have iron the room.

We visited 10 years ago and had a recent stay in August. Everything was beautiful, if not even better than our first stay, only by the addition of a few facilities that were not there years ago, such as a much expanded daytime lunch menu which was brilliant. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable and air conditioning in the hotel makes the August temperatures more bearable. We will definitely be visiting again if we want to make more journeys by train, since the hotel is about 10 minutes away from the city centre by taxi and 20 minutes by bus. Very good location for exploring.

The grounds and facilities are brilliant. Big pool area with plenty of loungers and umbrellas so option to be in or out of the sun. Great breakfast with good range of food types, machine coffee options and range of juices (watered down but still tasty). The restaurant on site is fantastic and reasonably priced too. Rooms are a good size with good toiletries included. 1 hour walk to town which we did once, but the bus 20 took you to the centre €1.50 each way, or there are rentable bikes nearby too.

There is no access to any drinking water. In Italy there are water fountains with free water everywhere, but the bar wouldn't serve me tap water and said I had to go up to my room to get it. The drinks at this bar are quite expensive too, €4 for juice, €5 for lemon slushy. This was the only reason not to give the hotel a 10.

Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our suite was very spacious and tastefully decorated in a traditional style and the view to the sunset over Bologna was wonderful. The on property parking lot was the best we encountered on our trip. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant. Complimentary shrimp appetizers were delicious as were our main courses. We wished we had booked a longer stay so we could have explored Bologna more. Truly worth a visit on your way to wherever!

Hair dryer really needed to be repaired or replaced.

Lovely Hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable , although ours was quite small . The Pool area and Bar outside were lovely . The breakfast was excellent although hot options were limited to Bacon and Scrambled egg , which they called omelette!

The bar food options during the day and evenings were very limited. In fact we returned one evening and wanted a drink and a few snacks and they couldn't serve crisps , nuts or Olives which we found rather unusual. We had lunch in the restaurant on our last day and we were not so impressed .

Very nice wide open lobby, bar and outside terrace areas and in good decoration and clean.

The spa bath in our room didn’t work and the bath sealant needed removing and re-doing as the usual mould had taken hold in a few places. Would recommend wearing mosquito repellent by the pool and outside terrace areas as if you’re like me the mozzies love me a bit too much! All the staff were very helpful and polite, apart from one barman who did not match the standard set by the rest of the staff. Was unnecessarily rude and obviously doesn’t like his job. Apart from that the place is very pleasant to stay at and quite palatial in the main area.

Love this hotel. It feels welcoming, grand and modest at the same time. Excellent foyer, friendly and efficient reception, good rooms with air conditioning , which you really need in Italy and a refreshing pool. Bathrooms are spacious and well-supplied. Dinner in the Garganelli is amazing. My favourite restaurant in North Italy. I would have my wedding there, if I did it again. They organise taxis for you to get into city centre in 5 minutes. Convenient by taxi from airport. Fridge in rooms is helpful. Pool towels are 2 euros for your stay. Poolside is not too busy.

The only thing I complain about in this delightful hotel is the included breakfast. I say this every year. I might not make it to breakfast next time. The coffee and orange juice are poor. Machine-made. Cakes, breads and croissants are fine. Scrambled eggs are nearly nice. If you made fresh delicious coffee and orange juice, you would deserve 10/10.

A beautiful hotel with a clean room. The balcony was a perfect size and made a huge difference to our enjoyment of our stay. The pool was a great plus and the reason we choose this hotel. The hotel is 15 minutes from the city so it’s nice and quiet- 15/17 euros in a taxi to the city. The hotel is very pretty with a gorgeous garden at the front.

The pool was busy and the beds very close to each other, it felt like we sunbathing in someone’s garden but it was nice for what we needed. Only one restaurant and as the hotel is not close to another eatery you have not much choice to eat there and it was very expensive.
