The goom Hotel is a great place even for longer stays. I've been there for 11 nights and here are some great things about it: - The room is very big. Its essentially an apartment with 4 rooms: A bedroom/kitchen, toilet, bathroom and an entrance hall. - Ammentiies provided were quite good - The location ist great, near the city center and a 15 minute walk to the main train station. Also close to the subway and a couple of bus lines. - Its rather cheap - Washing machine is provided although no instructions in english so you need to watch a tutorial on youtube if you can't speak japanese. - The online Check-in process was easy to understand and complete - The aircon was very strong - The place was overall very clean although not spotless

- The wifi was horrendous. The worst I've seen in ages (25Mbit Download | 0,50Mbit Upload) - The bed was uncomfortable - There was no spoon or fork provided although there was a cup - The lighting wasn't too great, it was quite dark - The walls are very thin. You can hear everything going outside VERY clearly. Even if some people were walking by and talking you can hear every word. Due to this at around 5 AM birds were "chirping" outside and it was EXTREMELY loud and woke me up pretty much everyday... - The shower/bath is quite old. Setting the desired temperature is borderline impossible and if you manage to get the correct temperature it doesn't matter because it just changes on its own without touching the faucet.

I liked the strategic location; it was quite convenient. Although it's an unmanned property, the staff were very responsive and quick to reply to emails. The price was affordable, and the facilities provided were excellent—everything I needed was available.

The cleanliness could be improved. There were quite a few dusty items, and the stairs leading to the room weren't very clean. The air conditioning wasn't cool enough, and the mattress was a bit firmer than I expected.

Location is great, the flat was clean and had everything we needed.

Super cool hotel. Easy self check-in. Huge space, turntable with vinyl! Even a disco light. 7 minute walk to Canal City. Great location and deal!

the apartment was acceptable for that price.

The place wasn’t so clean and the instructions for check in and check out were so confusing (we also called and got wrong instructions so we had to use lockers to storage our luggages before the check in, when in reality, we could have left at the reception).

Location was great and close to amenities. Groceries shop were just around the corner and lots of things to do around including a shopping mall and Yatai stalls by the river. Also really close to 2 temples.

Unfortunately we had no cutlerries and no mugs, even when we asked for it they said they couldn't provide because it's a unmanned hotel so not great for long stays or if you plan to eat there or even drink your coffee/tea. They had balcony in the description however was not accessible because the bed was in the way and also had 4 bags of rubbish in our balcony as well as a cup full of cigarette buds which we did not appreciate as we are non-smokers. Also the internet's upload speed was pretty bad but generally ok.

Not really the hotel’s fault but I’ve been waking up every morning at 5am because of fighting ravens over garbage!! It was way too noisy. plus the bedding were not comfortable.

The room is dark and dingy. One of the worse beds I have ever slept on. Bed was wobbly and I could feel the bed slats on my back through the worst mattress.
