I was a little apprehensive about it being an unmanned hotel but check-in and check-out was quite easy. Note that you need to pay the room tax upon arrival by dropping cash into a box at the front desk. The room was a decent size for four adults and was overall very clean. We liked having a washing machine, drawers under each bed, and a kitchen that was stocked with some basic items. The drying feature in the bathtub/shower room was really handy. On the main floor there was a public bathroom available to guests.

The drawers under the bed needed a more thorough cleaning. It was a little tight for space to open our luggage and we had to coordinate opening one large one or two small ones at a time.

Great location. Nice, quiet rooms. Great bathroom/shower. The staff there were exceptional in helping sort out a challenge we had when checking-in. Super kind to our children. We also really liked the restaurant just across the street: Haruichi. It is a hot pot restaurant that has the best green onions. So unique, they had such a mild favor: our kids loved it.

Just some challenges understanding how to turn on the automatic bath and hot water. Somehow the kitchen controls would start filling the bath. I guess it would be great to have a nice bath ready for you once you finished the dishes, but couldn’t figure it out.

The room is very large and it was very clean. When we checked in we had a call with a staff member who was very friendly and spoke English. There’s a washing machine in the room and a drying setting in the shower room which we used and it dried everything in a couple of hours. The location is close to a river and not that far of a walk from Tenjin and Hakata station, but both are a 15-20 minute walk away so if you don’t want to walk maybe choose a different location. It’s not that far from the metro either. The value is also very good, for this standard of room you’d pay a lot more in a manned hotel. This hotel is unmanned so there won’t be staff available if you have queries or need anything.

This isn’t specifically for this hotel, rather this chain of Grand Base hotels as before this we stayed in 2 others in Nagasaki and Beppu. The value is very good however their policy for lost property is really bad. Instead of letting you know if you’ve left something they make you jump through hoops to fill out a form (although the links the other hotels sent me for this form didn’t work). They also throw stuff away after a week, but if, like us you’re travelling around multiple cities you may not instantly realise if you’ve left something behind. This policy also isn’t clear until you’ve already checked into the room, as it’s written in the rooms on posters.

The location of the place is amazing. Right by the canal, and easy to get to everywhere in Fukuoka. The room is spacious, it had a wonderful view, and the bath was also very cozy. There is plenty of space to chill, even cook indoors. Honestly, for the price that I had paid, it was a more than worthy investment. It's the ideal place to stay if one were to stay a little longer in Fukuoka.

The checking in is a little complicated, but other than that, I cannot truly complain about my stay.

Flat is cleaning and comfortable. The family room has 5 beds, good size for 4 people to stay.

washing machine not clean can see white powder over the drum, I need to clean it before I use. when we doing check in process, the sfaff asked for ￥3600 local tax fee but actually 4 people for 4 days stay is ￥3200. I am ok with it, but both of us need to improve mathematical calculations😂😂

Very nice hotel about 15 minutes by walk from Hakata station. Our room had a river view. It was clean, fully equipt (kitchen, glasses, plates, wash machine, soap in the bathroom, shampoo, several extra towels, TV, clima..). Close to the hotel there are many shops, restaurants, bars.

We were absolutely satisfied.

Very clean and spacious. Full set of well-selected facilities, would be great for long term stays. Personally loved the shampoo they provided. Close to Naka river and 7-eleven. Lots of bars and restaurants around.

a bit far from public transportation but still in walking distance

Hotel is not that close to Hakata or Tenjin station. But theres Yanagi Bashi bus stop, its a 5 min walk and you can easily ride to get to Hakata station.

Check in was only up to 10 pm was worried i wont be able to check in due to late flight. But we made it in time.

Staff was very kind, and facility was amazing. There was a private onsen in a room other than the big one for residents.

It was okay for me, but should walk around 10 mins from the station to the place.

Really nice place with spacious room! The location was close to canal city but also really quite.
