Hotel was just opened at 4 august 2023 so is still perfectly clean. Our room with river view is very nice, but very small, 1 big luggage and 1 small trolley, occupied all the space at floor. Except for this all is perfect. Very good breakfast, perfect location near subway station in the heart of nakasu and staff super kind that helped us in all inquiry.

The interior design was very modern and everywhere was impeccably clean. I also loved that there was a small onsen in the actual building, which was open late, too! The pillows were to die for, one of the best nights sleep I’ve had.

I think the breakfast was a little expensive for what it was! And the options were slightly limited.

The hotel is very new. Clean and confortable. Room is big too, even with a Marshall Bluetooth speaker that you can pair to play your own music. Location is also nice, right out the hotel, you can experience the famous night food stall.

Perfect location between Hakata and Tenjin stations. You can use Exit 3 or 4 from Nakasu Kawabata station to walk 3 minutes to this hotel. Also Exit 4 is inside the Don Quijote building with an escalator compared to the stairs on Exit 3. You can walk 5 minutes to Fukuoka Shopping Center and access the overhead walkway to Canal City Mall and Kushida Shrine is also at the end of Fukuoka Shopping Center. Last but not least is the free welcome drink at the bar every night.

Nothing. Just know that the rooftop bar next to the public bath opens in the afternoon. Also the washing machines only accept 100 yen coins.

The Royal Park Canvas is a lovely hotel. It was more sophisticated than I was expecting which was a bonus. The decor is lovely, rooms are bright and modern and the public bath is a must try. The hallways are a little dark but you’re only in them in briefly. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Fukuoka again.

Only very small things - the hallways were dark and the iron wasn’t the best. Didn’t matter how many times we went over our clothes, at different heat settings, it just never managed to get the creases out. We found this with many irons in Japan though.

Staff are very nice; can still communicate with them in English because of my limited proficiency of Nihongo; The external of building is awesome; I extremely like the design and lighting of corridor; The lighting inside the room makes me highly comfortable and has matched with the idea of hotel 'living in forest'; The room is well insulated with double-layered glass of and the bed is so soft and I can fall asleep very quickly and quietly, even my room is facing to Showa Dori in which plenty of cars are on the road; Many self-branded products(with Royal Canvas logo) are provided for guest

The locker is just in a size which can only store wallet or similar size; Maybe better to provide USB ports at the headboard of bed

New and model. Nicely designed lounge and rooms although rooms are quite small. Breakfast at lounge is very nice and highly recommend if you stay there. Way better value than the buffet. The green forest feel they’re trying to create is a success.

Breakfast buffet has limited choices and the number of guests are making the small space very crowded and noisy. Sound proof in rooms are poor. You can hear guest talking in lobby loud and clear. Guests should be reminded and educated of local etiquette and lower their voice and stop their children from running freely.

Quite pleasant overall concept for hotel presenting a kind of serene atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Good onsen with indoor semi outdoor cold plunge and dry sauna. Unique room layout seemed to work pretty well! The oversized daybed with table super nice to hang out and work or watch some Netflix on tv. Lobby, bar, restaurant outdoor terraces all really pleasant to hang out in..

Seems not a hotel frequented by Japanese and some guests had little respect for the hotel's quiet environment. Would be great if they also posted sign to promote quiet in the onsen to prevent loud behaviour there in particular. Lighting in hotel sometimes a bit dark at times and the trendy-ish bare bulbs design of bedside lamps need dimmers or proper shades of some kind.

everything. from the moment i walked in i really liked the smell of the hotel. it’s thoughtfully decorated, but minimal. staff is incredibly accommodating. there are really light bird sounds as you walk through the hallways to your room. the room has great ambient lighting and it is so worth it to pay for a higher floor. the onsen was also so nice and so clean and the free ice pops after was a great touch. i would go back, i honestly miss it - i didn’t wanna leave!

not much to not like, but the onsen does get really crowded in the evenings - i went once and there was no more lockers available so had to wait 10 minutes to put my stuff away.

Nicely designed hotel. Complete in-room facilities although when we booked, the description said the rooms had a bathtub and there was none.

Room was dusty. Dust accumulates daily and it triggered our allergies. I even took a video of dust floating in the room. Housekeeping also left a rag inside the room after cleaning. There was trash under the bed from a previous guest. If the Hotel was dust free and really clean, would have rated it excellent but the dust is a bit too much. You need to address the dustiness. Housekeeping has to step up and do a better job.
