This was a great value for the money and a delightful place to stay for our visit to Hachinohe and the Michinoku Coastal Trail. Plenty of places to eat nearby in this very walkable neighborhood (and a conbini across the street), made this perfect for me and my teenage daughters. The room was a little small for three of us - but we made it work; think of it like a cruise ship. The local train was a short walk (15min) away, from which we had easy access to the breathtaking coast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If we were to visit again, I might book 2 rooms instead of 1, but all in all this totally worked for us.

The room was a little tight for three people, but we were only staying two nights so it was fine. It encouraged us to get out and enjoy the city and the coast.

The room was very nice and comfortable. Also, the lobby had a variety of extra pillows you can use, which was cool. The room key system was unique, instead of a keycard, they have numbered code system. You just put in the code to unlock your room. We also had breakfast there, I think I enjoyed the breakfast at another hotel I was at more, but this breakfast operated on a smaller scale, and therefore was decent for what it was. Also, for the room size, the tv was comparably bigger than other places with similar sizing.

The location is so-so, it's about a 11-14min walk to the nearest station. Therefore, it is not ideal for those looking for something closer. Also, the nearest station is not the main Hachinoe station, therefore, coming late at night we had to catch a taxi because there were no more local trains, but that couldn't be helped.

I like the easy in-easy-out philosophy of this company, efficiency, effective, giving service when needed, but otherwise they leave it up to you--pick an extra pillow, make yourself a drink at the open, free, happy-hour, no check-out... the welcome brochure (in Japanese) had lots of tips and ideas for food, experience. I was thrilled to find out about the "New Asahi-yu sento" nearby, a public bath blast from the past, with several baths, sauna, steam room. The hotel is located in a part of Hachinohe famous for its narrow alleys filled with friendly bars and restaurants... quite cool, as well as the amazing new Hachiohe Museum of Art.

Similar to most chain hotels but with a more modern and fresh decor. The super bonus was the 3-9pm self service happy hour at the lobby with wines, sake, Sochu, 4 types of liquids and mixers! Breakfast was good with a nice spread of Japanese breakfast items like rice, soup, pickles, sausages, eggs, breads and spreads etc.

Nothing!

Super clean hotel. comfortable beds. A choice of pillow. Free PJ’s to use. Deep bath in ensuite. fridge and kettle in room. Air conditioning. charging cables and ports near bed. Study desk and chair. Nice toiletries.

the property itself was amazing. My only issue was with breakfast. We got to breakfast at 8.30, so lots of the items were absent or running low and were not refilled. we asked many times the day before if we had to reserve a time and the answer was no. So I guess in the end, 5 extra people were not catered for properly.

A good location, friendly staff, and good amenities

It would be nice if there were more non-smoking rooms available. Also the bathrooms were on the smaller side… Make sure you end up at the right one, too! there’s two, only three blocks apart.
