The staff answered my question regarding stored luggage within minutes. They stored everything within 30 seconds, which was so helpful, as we had a bus to catch. The cleaning staff was particularly courteous and every time I passed the front desk, I was assailed with friendly greetings, a mix of Japanese and English.

The bath was jammed. It was probably my fault for going so late. I would recommend using the bath in the room. It was superb; the communal bath was far from great, though I imagine it might be very nice if one were alone. Or with fewer than 95 other people, particularly people who do not follow general bath etiquette.

Great location in front of Himeji Station, approx 10 minute mostly-roof-covered walk to the castle, plenty of eateries near by, 24 hr convenience store on ground floor. Access key entry to all floors for added security. Room and common area are spicknspan clean. Luggage can be left at the front desk prior to check in. Staff are super helpful. Laundromat available. The spacious public bath was soothing after the long walk at the castle.

I wish the VOD setting was censored since my reservation mentioned children in my party. Setting can be manually changed at front desk.

it was clean and convenient to get to from Himeji Station. there was also McD, KFC, convenience store and cafe just outside the hotel (might be useful for those travelling with children).

The service at check-in was a little cold. Also, I had called the Front Desk to request for the 2 complimentary bottles of water on my second day since we were embarking on a long walk that morning but the lady insisted that I could only get the water during cleaning, although I explained that I was not going to ask for my room to be made up. It took a while, but she eventually understood (relented? I'm unsure if it was the language barrier or something else) and brought the bottles to us.

Good location, right near the station and a short walk to the castle. The room (triple) was small but comfortable. It seemed to be a double room with an extra bed brought in, as the third bed was shorter than the other two.

The triple room is very very cramped, with almost no room to open luggage. We had a last minute change of plan and needed to stay an extra night, so we called the front desk to ask if it was possible and check for a price estimate. They told us we could stay, but gave us a very high price, so we just booked online again for about half the price the staff cited. It seemed a bit silly.

The room was really lovely and had everything we needed - was a good size, big comfortable beds, nice pillows, a jug, wardrobe, toiletries, a table and chairs and a desk. The reception, entrance way etc has very nice decor. The staff were all friendly and efficient and spoke English. There’s a laundry room which has 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. Also a bath and sauna for guest use only - meant to try it out but never made it. The hotel is right next to Himeji Train Station. Also very close to the bus station. Only a short walk to Himeji Castle and had lots of eating places and shops nearby. Really enjoyed our stay - highly recommend this hotel.

Just steps away from Himeji station and Himeji castle. This hotel is extremely classy and clean. The room was amply sized and well equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and located on the top floor of the hotel, meaning that you can enjoy your breakfast amidst sweeping views of Himeji castle and the city and mountains. In addition to the nice bathtub in the room, there is also a Japanese-style bath on the 4th floor, including a dry sauna. Two types of pillows were provided (soft/fluffy and stiff/crunchy) so you can choose your preference. The service was very exceptional. We accidentally left behind some items in the room fridge when we left, and when we contacted the hotel at the end of the day (having already left the city), they offered to mail them to us!!

The TV service is pay-to-view, and even if you pay, there weren't any good options for movies or TV networks to choose from.

The staff here are so charming and kind, we really felt welcomed. We arrived before check in but when we returned from Bikan our bags were in the room. Our room was fabulous, spacious and with so many amenities- tea pot, coffee drip, kettle, toaster oven , lovely plates etc and even bagels for breakfast ! The bath was large for Japan too and very relaxing after sightseeing. We liked the local touch with denim and navy accessories. It was very quiet during the night.

To be picky, we found the duvets too warm, we had to turn the a/c down low to sleep and have now woken up snuffly

We were astonished at the proximity to the train station and the general quality of the hotel. And we loved the chandeliers in the breakfast room, and the extraordinary view. We sat at the window ‘counter’ and stared. It would have been nice to have one news station in English, but then maybe quiet is best. (And it would need to be CNN not Fox, so maybe you’re wise not to have a station at all.). Thank you very much.

I mentioned above that we thought one TV news station in English would be nice, but then thought we could do without. It might be nice to include a packet of coffee along with the morning tea in the room. But, please understand, we were delighted with our room and the amenities. Wowed at the pajamas and slippers.

Most amazing buffet breakfast of our two-week trip in Japan! Elegant decor, gracious staff. art exhibit in hallways. Our two beds room was comfortable and spacious, parking convenient and reasonably priced. Not far from Himeji castle with great view of it from breakfast room. Cozy beds and nice bathroom. Super low price for all of this!

Weirdly, it seemed that the staff had not changed the bottom sheet on the one bed as I found stray hairs and some dirt on it. I decided not to complain but brushed them off and slept well despite it.

I loved the city and I loved this hotel. It is a massive one but I found the staff really nice and helpful during our encounters (I had to call the front desk to have them unlock the window as the windows can only be opened after the staff unlocks them with their key). The hotel's location is extremely convenient, 5 minutes away from both the train and bus stations, although entering and exiting the hotel is very maze-like at first. There is a perfectly stocked Lawson on the ground floor directly accessible from the hotel. The room I had was big, very well equipped, with a large window and great view from the 12th floor. The bathroom is on the small side but this is Japan after all.

I wish hotels would stop changing towels daily in the future. This hotel already has a more sustainable approach but they should offer us not to change towels as well. It does not get dirty in a few days. The other only down side was that the shinkansen could be heard at times despite the double windows. I am a light sleeper so I had ear-plugs and it blocked it effectively. I would recommend light sleepers prepare them. It also helps with jerks straight up shouting in the hallway at 6h45 am...
