Nice room. I liked that the single use stuff was in the lobby and we only took what we needed. I always travel with my own toothbrush and razor, so I see no need for the rooms to be stocked with them.

The pillows. Dammit I hate Japanese pillows; the ones with beans filling sections on the underside of the pillow. I want soft pillows that I can flip and it feels the same job both sides. But there's little that can be done about that, I suppose. And it's a minor complaint.

My room was larger than many hotel rooms I've stayed in in Japan. The hotel location was really convenient as it was close to Himeji Castle and the nearby garden and museums and within walking distance of the train station. The buffet breakfast had a large choice of food and drinks and varied from day to day. The staff was very helpful. I could obtain a lot of useful tourist pamphlets and other information at the hotel. The hotel rooftop area had a view of Himeji Castle and I was able to eat there on a couple of occasions.

The location was pretty good, straight road from Himeji station exit is is located between the station and castle. The balcony had a nice view of Himeji castle too. The room is neat and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and easily approachable.

The Aircon/heater maintenance could be done more often, I checked the filter out of curiosity and would say it's about time for maintenance but it works sufficiently. There wasn't any dust or smell coming out from it so it's still in working condition.

The room had a great setup. They had the smart TV directly at the foot of the bed. You can browse Japanese TV stations or just play something off YouTube. It was a cozy room that was just right in every way. It's conveniently located near one of the numerous shōtengai (local market streets) in the area and just a 10-minute walk from Himeji Castle and Kokoen (flower garden next to the castle). It's perfect for exploring the area or even if you plan on touring the nearby prefectures with a JR Pass.

Location: 5 mins walking distance to Himeji castle. Cleanliness: neat and clean Staff: friendly and helpful Facilities: vending machines are available, and you can see Himeji castle from their terrace Breakfast: nothing fancy, but they got fairly good choices with buffet style and it’s quite satisfying. The restaurant attached to the hotel is quite good too. They have choices of local Sake and local delicacy ok their menu. Overall good value for money.

The room is not so spacious.

Great hotel with very attentive staff. Very close to Himeji castle and arcades with plenty of shops and a large supermarket. About an 8 minute walk to the station. Drink machine on each floor. Breakfast for ¥1000 in the hotel dining room with lots of choices. Windows that open.

Unfortunately our bar fridge didn't work, although the light was on and spoiled our snacks.and drinks. Staff replaced it for us only to find the 2nd one did not cool either, and we gave up. There is no laundry which we would have liked.

Great value! This is one of the best hotels you can get if you want to stay in Himeji for the castle. The location is in-between the castle and the station, so it's perfect. The breakfast was cheap to add on and I am so glad I did because it was really good (for me). It's a very Japanese breakfast, but I think it's pretty universal. There are meat dishes, vegetables, eggs, coffee, juice, rice, curry, miso soup (the miso soup is the best I have ever had... surprisingly). The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was as well. It has a bathtub and the typical Japanese toilet. The bathroom felt pretty spacious for the size of the room. Overall we had a great time. Definitely get the breakfast if you go!

The only "bad aspect" is that the room is quite small. I shared a bed with my friend (which was okay), but we did not have a lot of space to open our suitcases.

Did not have breakfast there so can't say anything about it. I did however love the evening view from their rooftop terrace. It shows Himeji Castle at night beautifully lit up in thre distance! Staff were friendly too, and the location is good and convenient. Also in lobby are slippers and toiletries to take up to the room if you need it.

Don't have anything specific I did not like. It was a good hotel experience.

Great location between the station and Himeji Castle, close to a fantastic Tonkatsu restaurant and real friendly staff! Also employ a really great coin laundry solution to ensure that the machines are as free as they can be for guests. Fantastic breakfast selection too with regional speciality of almond toast available to make yourself (which did not disappoint)

Second time staying at this hotel and I've got to say, everything has been great the first and second time! Staff is super friendly and inviting. Would stay here again if I were to come back to Himeji for sure! The price you pay for the rooms is really very budget friendly and it's honestly very worth the stay.
