The staff were really lovely and helpful. The public and private onsen facilities were absolutely fantastic. They have a games centre downstairs which was fun. Love that they provide yukata to wear around the hotel + town

They don’t allow tattoos in the public onsens. The hallways and rooms look quite dated and shabby (rooms were definitely nicer), but they both smelt quite a bit like cigarette smoke. In particular the bathroom in our room was not very good, it smelt very musty, and the showerhead was quite clogged. But it’s a bath kind of place so 🤷

Amazing location, just a couple of minutes away from Ito station and right by the ocean. The open bath is not tattoo friendly, however there were other options available, both free and for a small fee. Highly recommend paying for the open air bath, it’s located on the roof terrace with an excellent view, lovely atmosphere and relaxing bath. Very friendly staff. Ito is a very charming town with gorgeous nature and lovely atmosphere.

Staying in this hotel in Ito was the highlight of the trip! The room had a tatami sea view and an in-room onsen for just over 8100 yen. They also offered a private open-air onsen for 4500 yen/3 hours, which is great value. Initially, I hesitated about staying in Ito for a night, but after visiting, I definitely think I should have stayed another day to relax and sunbathe by the sea. There's no need to rush.

The place was nice. The view of Ito orange beach outside the window was beautiful. Big rooms and washrooms attached. You get to experience japanese style rooms at this price which is good. Metro station and 7 eleven are closeby.

Ito itself is a secluded place so it took us a good amount of time for us to reach. So if you plan on coming here make sure the transport is sorted so you don't waste time in reaching Ito.

Kameya was a charming old school seaside hotel with 4 onsens available., 1 in basement and 1 on top floor with views, male and female alternating hours and 2 private roof top spa with view over the sea. The room was spacious and the beach is across the road, Ito is great to explore and we had a number of day trips to other parts of the Izu peninsula. No bustling crowds and amazing scenery.

I suggest investing a little more money in the ryokan sea view room. it is a great experience. The sun rise in the morning is amazing from the room.

The two chails facing the window were not very comfortable. @ Ikea poang chairs would have been perfect.

The location is very close to the beach. Although a second-floor room, the view was wonderful! We could see all the sea just from our room window. There are hot springs for males, females, open-sky type (needs a reservation for about 2000 yen), and a family one. We especially used the family one. The rooms are big and beautiful Japanese styled. It was a hotel experience that exceeded my expectations for the cheap price we paid.
