Mesi Stay Mayu Grace is a small somewhat boutique stype appartment hotel in a quiet bu central neighbourhood close to Subway station (Nijojo Castle). Our room, with kitchenette, was spacious for Japanese standards but still quite small, we knew. Bed is comfortable, kitchen nice, bath and shower good and atmosphere relaxed

Kitchen amenities are quite few, please adjust to the more European/Western guests that you receive. View in the back is not inspiring. Reception is mostly unstaffed which is on one hand understandable mot sometimes inconvenient

We loved to have a whole flat to ourselves with a lot of privacy. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, so we could easily cook. As our child was a bit too old, the staff gave us a bed guard instead of a crib, which made bedtime easier for our 2,5 year old son. The staff was very friendly and spoke some of the best English we heard throughout our whole trip. The location is near a few railway lines and very close to some sights. The building and the entrance look beautiful. Overall one of the best accommodations we have had.

TV didn't have any apps, so for Netflix we used our laptop and an HDMI cable.

The space was large and very clean. It was easy to access from several bus and train lines, which was great for two tourists who wanted to see a lot of Kyoto! Overall, we were pleased with our stay at Resi Stay.

The front desk concierge was only available for several hours each day, which wasn't a problem so much as just different than what we are used to with a hotel. Additionally, there was no cleaning service during our stay, but we could ask for fresh towels if we needed/ wanted them. Again, this wasn't a problem so much as it is simply something that other guests should be aware of before they stay.

We can highly recommend Resi Stay Mayu Grace Hotel. It is perfectly located in the heart of Kyoto. The apartments are incredibly spacious, very modernly furnished, and absolutely clean. The perfect service at the reception is particularly noteworthy; they respond immediately and are extremely friendly, especially Narisa who stood out with her friendly demeanor. We hope to have the opportunity to travel to Kyoto again and will definitely stay at this wonderful hotel. It was a highlight of our 14-day trip to Japan.

We loved the hotel! It was more like an apartment and it had just everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped with frying pans and pots, as well as mugs and glasses. Also, they gave us instant coffe, tea, sugar and cream. The staff was very friendly and gave us more cooking staff and hungers. The coffe machine downstairs was also very useful. The bed in the bedroom was huge and comfy, there was also an efficient air-coinditioning, big bedside tables and a small table with two chairs. We especially liked the cleaniless of the bathroom and the carpet on the bedroom's floor and corridor.

The receptionist gave us the wrong info. I extended our stay for one day, before We arrived I rang to ask if we need to change rooms as I have extended last minute and was told NO. When I checked in I asked again to confirm if we need to change room and Again I was told NO. We went to Osaka for the day, and that day was ruined because I got an email saying that ALL our belongings have been transferred to another room. We were so upset as that is against Our privacy! If we were told that we need to change rooms we would have organized to have done this BEFORE going to Osaka, and this place ruined our whole day! The receptionist that day, should not give the wrong information!

The staff was very polite and helpful, they explained everything reagrding our stay very well. The room was bigger than expected, we even had a kitchen space, very clean and quiet, the area was really nice and quiet as well, close to main tourist attractions, shops, bakeries and restaurants. also close to public transportation - subway and buses, easy to gt to Kyoto station to and from the hotel.

We enjoyed the large room, kitchen, and separate rooms for bathing and getting ready. A comfortable bed and quiet. Close to conveince stores and just a bit farther there is Life grocery store. 10- minute walk to the subway. The charming Kyoto neighborhood was great for us.

Cleaning was not as often as we would have liked. Stayed 10 days and only cleaned twice, but clean towels were always available at the front desk.

The room was exceptional - from the setup, the interior finishes, the robes, the bathroom amenities, the kitchen fully stocked with utensils, pans, etc (never seen that before), and generally the space of the room. The hotel itself is very clean, great location and easily accessible in a quiet but central spot in Kyoto. Amazing!

Great location. Huuuuge amount of space compared to the usual types of accommodation found in Tokyo. Separate toilet, bathroom and kitchen resulted in a better quality stay. Products provided were also quality and the staff were very helpful

The pillows were too soft for us. That’s really all 😂
