The room was much bigger than I anticipated, and in a Japanese style (with tatami) so I was pleasantly surprised. The onsen in the hotel was an absolute delight. It had several baths with different temperatures, a lounge space, a sauna, a cold bath (which can be rare), and of course everything needed to wash yourself thoroughly before going into the baths. The hotel also provides body towels as well as face towels, so you don't need to bring yours. They have lockers to keep your items safe while bathing. There's free breakfast (little pieces of bread + some juice and coffee/tea) and a space on the first floor to relax after the onsen for example. It has wifi there as well.
The view from my room wasn't great (I actually had no view at all, I could only see the wall from the building in front of the hotel + some stairs).

We stay here every time we visit the monkeys. We like the location , the onsens , the rooms , the staff
They changed the futons to the foam egg cartoon from a traditional futon and no extra ones for extra cushion. We like the traditional one doubled up. But will still stay there if we ever make it back there.

The room was more spacious than we thought it would be. The futons were very comfortable and the thick blankets kept us very warm at night. The location was very ideal- there were many onsens just in the area and many places to eat at.
The water in the bathhouse in the ryokan could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was a very good experience nonetheless.

the room was quite big and had its own bathroom. It a 5 min walk from the station and the izakaya was super good and not expensive big Onsen with sauna
the Onsen was closed in the morning. during opening hours ( the cleaning team was late …) the breakfast was really bad. too expensive for 4 kinds of bread and nothing else. no ega or ham or coffee. just plain bread :/

the room was lovely, the location perfect and the food delicious... but most importantly the owners were kind and thoughtful!
The onsen was too hot. There was a cold water faucet to help but it was useless in the large onsen.

The room was lovely, the futons were really comfy and I just loved the onsen, it was beautiful!! The Japanese lady at the service desk went above and beyond to accommodate us, she was fantastic!!
Prefer a normal shower instead of a shower bath, difficult for an older person to get in and out of.

The onsen is fabulous
Could have been a bit cleaner, the carpets etc just a bit old and grubby. But nice traditional place.
